President-Senator Aron Toko sat in silence on the Throne of Sajivara's Justice, the throne blessed by the High Priest of Sajivara, the Goddess of Justice and the seat that each President-Senator had sat upon as the symbol of power for over 100 years. Now Toko watched as Senators Raji and Indria bordered a screaming match over the issue of making Panj-Manchu, the main language of the state of Orweli an offical state language along with Bindi and English.
"I keep telling you that ignoring the fact that over 45% of the nations people speak Panj-Manchu on a regular basis and keeping it's use out of offical government documents violates the Pact of Alliance!" Raji almost yelled in Indria's face.
"Ha! That primitive language has no place with Bindi," Indria spat in Raji's face, "Which is the Perfect Language, transcending all others in eloquence and..."
"ENOUGH!" Toko found himself roaring at the top of his lungs, brining the entire Senate to a standstill.
"A proposal has been laid before the Senate and it will be voted on, now."
"Whomever wishes for Panj-Manchu to become an offical language press the green light."
The votes were counted.
"The opposed may press their green light now."
The votes were counted.
"By a vote of 24/1 Panj-Manchu is now an offical language to be used in all offical government and state documentation and communications." The President-Senator stated and that was the end of the matter.
