Prologue
No one knew where He had come from, some say he had come with the rising sun, some others say he came from the moon on a silver chariot with the stars at his side, but in the end He came to the city of Arluj, the holy city of Prana-Kali, Goddess of Death and while He has never left the city in over 30 years his following, and the city continue to grow.
From the Purple Lotus park on Creed's Hill overlooking the Holy Temple of Black Blood Death, the Holiest of Prana-Kali's temples the One With Many Names, whom many believe to be a Buddha sits on the ground in the orange robe and preaches The Way.
The priests of Prana-Kali hated Him but could nothing to silence Him. They had tried that before and paid for that mistake a hundred-fold. For He truly was Enlightened...
The Buddha
The Buddha sat upon the ground and was speaking his morning sermon but something was different today, for today because of the CNN reporters he was speaking to the entire world. "So you claim to be Buddha?" the young twentyish woman in the black blouse asked of Him. "I do not claim to be the first Buddha, I am however a Buddha." He answered of her, his serene pose never broken as purple blossoms from the ortu trees fell to the ground around them.
"So if you are a Buddha then could you show us your power." the reporter asked of him. The Buddha answered, his dark brown eyes filled with the Light of One Who Is Awakened, "If I wished to do so I could raise an entire continent from the depths of the sea, but when one holds great power one must also use equal responsibility and never abuse or flaunt needlessly a minor gift of Enlightenment."
The confused reporter then asked, "If having magical powers is minor then what is the true gift of Enlightenment?" The Buddha answered as the sunlight seemed to make him glow, "The true gift of Enightenment is Nirvana, Perfect Peace and Perfect Happiness." the Buddha them smiled and he seemed to glow even more, "But I remain to help others attain Enlightenment until this body wears out and I will then move on forever."
"What is your name, the one you had before your Enlightenment?" the reporter asked. The Buddha answered out of the light around him, "I have had many names, name lifetimes, as countless as the drops of water in the sea, they have no meaning, there is no I without Ego and without Ego there is no I or Me. There is only The Way."
"Well thank you for your time, this has been Jenny Craigen for CNN with the man many people believe to be the modern Buddha in Lotus Park. Now back to the studio."
Later
Jenny had snuck out of her hotel room and sat before the Buddha agian, "Can you teach me more about The Way?" she asked.
"Of course."

Holy Temple of Black Blood Death
500 of the Meta-Level Monks kowtowed before the 1005 images of Prana-Kali in all of Her Holy Forms. The largest icons in the center of the room were her two most common forms, the vampyre lady with bat wings soaked in the blood of all those who have died, and the warrior goddess with her winged battle helmet, battle armor and 12 arms each holding a different Holy Weapons to defeat Her Foes.
"Pity She hadn't come down from Heaven in Righteous Fury to smash the heretic, the so-called "Buddha" into ten thousand bits and scatter his soul to the four winds." The Blood-man, the High Priest of Prana-Kali thought as he watched the oldest and most Holy of the monks worship She Who Brings Death.
Of course the Blood-man had sent one of the Sargo to silence the Buddha but what happened what nothing short of sheer insanity. The assasin had gotten sick when he came within five feet of the Buddha and fell to the ground, then the Buddha took care of his own killer with his own hands, he even fed him until Ridi (the assasin's name) got well and because the Buddha had saved his life Ridi foreswore Prana-Kali and the Order of the Sargo (Sargo means "Prana-Kali's Left Hand") and took up the begging bowel and the orange robe. Ridi had even gained a measure of legend for his piety and the strange powers of healing he now seemed to have because of his so-called "Enlightenment".
The Blood-man would think like this for hours trying to think of ways to silence the Buddha but would always end up with nothing, not even Prana-Kali would help him. Yet if the Buddha was allowed to spew this heresy any longer the true faith would be lost for all time.

The Buddha stood upon a giant lotus that had grown out of the ground, it's white pedals and the tips of gold shined in the light of the noonday sun, it was impossible by the laws of gravity that such a giant flower, even the size and lenght of a full grown adult could hold the Buddha's weight, yet it did.
"The lotus," the Buddha said to the men and women who had abandoned their lives and had taken up the begging bowel and the orange robe, "Is the perfect symbol of Enlightenment, this flower grows up from mud and filth, such as one seeking true Enlightenment grows beyond desire and pain, then the flower blooms and has true beauty, such has one who attains Enlightenment is beautiful to those who have not yet Attained."
The Buddha's smile seemed to outshine the sun as he continued to speek, "We are all predestined to Attain, those who have Attained can either move on to Nirvana or stay and teach The Way to others to help them Attain also. Once every living soul, from the grass at our feet, to the animals, the trees, and the peoples of the universe have become Enlightened and achieved Nirvana the Universe shall begin a new cycle with new souls from the lower realms. This cycle of ascendance is eternal and forever, This is The Way."
The Buddha then stepped down from the flower and floated gently to the ground.
The newest nun, Jenny smiled at the Buddha who returned her smile. The Lotus flower which had grown to such unimaginable proportions was considered sacred from that day forth and the Buddha declared that the flower would live for 1000 years before it died and gave out a single seed for the next of what would be called Buddha's Lotus.

OOC: Well you could send a character interested in learning more about the new Buddha or a religious fanatic bent on killing this "heretic", just work with something you find interesting.

Sangou was a strange child, one of the many born in these turbulent times. He exibited many strange abilities such as a healing gift and a link to animals. However he has been as one deaf, blind, and mute since his third year when he spoke as a teacher saying: "From this time on I shall be as the souls of this world seeing nothing of Truth, hearing not the song of Ascension, speaking nothing but garbage. As helpless as a white grub rolling and flairing about gortestely, lost without senses shall I be until the coming of the Bringer of Truth." These extraordinary words he spoke and did follow through all these nine long years. But suddenly this last month he arisen from his daily task of writing forth the Book of Legends and turned to his parents saying: "Come the Bringer of Truth has arrived and he has called me unto him to learn his message." So then the entire village packed up to behold this wonder that so awoken the Little Teacher.
The old man finished with his tale laid back upon his wagon's bundles and smiled a toothless grin satisfied. It was unbelievable though it seemed he believed it wholeheartly along with most of the people here. I have myself beheld the child and the Buddha both of whom have similar traits between them. I have to investigate further, but if this is all truth could this be the end of times? Will our own Massiah the Christ return soon? I know not Father Belkon, but I seek the truth and that is all the Lord doth ask.

A Report from Lotus Park:
The Message of the Buddha to the world
I give unto you, the many peoples and souls of this world, nay the universe this simple message. As the universe continues it's eternal cycles of birth, live, death, rebirth for every single soul in this reality and hatred and negative force grows more powerful and the True Dharma was almost lost. I that is not I but a single awakened soul that seeks to awaken others from the World of Illusion asks of every living soul in all of the lands, worlds, and temporary empires to give each other a few simple gifts.
These gifts are Love, Peace, Charity, and aid upon your path to Enlightenment.
You are all predestined to Attain. But you must be willing to strive for it, in order to leave behind the Illusion.
This is what I ask of everyone the world over.
May You Attain.
-The Buddha

Kagato was nearly finish with his preparations for tonight. The Neo Buddah was suppose to be appearing in the garden tonight to confirm his new apostles. All Kagato had to do was sneak up into a tree, aim, and fire. It wasn't even close to difficult, he'd done worse in his sleep. Of course there were those strange rumors of miraclious deeds and powers held by the Neo Buddah, but they were probarly just propraganda. Nothing he couldn't handle.

OOC: First off, it's not "Buddah" it's Buddha, get it right. Second, my Buddha (much less the original Buddha) will never declare anyone above anyone else, much less declare one group of students more important because they are "apostles". So don't make stuff like that up, ok?

OOC: I like the idea of Apostles. Can't we keep them? As like santified teachers or something? No? Dang. I mean that's the part I wanted to play, being one of the Apostles or Teachers whatever.

The Buddha was disturbed today, for today a secret coup de'ta had occured right under the nations nose, a bloodbath of epic proportions that gave an incredible level of power to the President Aron Toko, a man who had not only conducted the coup perfectly, he had even tricked the nation into believing that it was the Christians who had killed so many government officals, not him.
But while the Buddha was disturbed by the bloodbath, he had looked at Toko's karmatic record from his previous life, he wasn't going to live too much longer to enjoy the blood soaked fruits of his "victory".
"Is everything alright?" a soft voice asked him, it was Jenny, the reporter turned Nun.
"Not yet," said the Buddha, his face calm as the ocean, "a bloodbath has occured, though the spirits of those who are dead have already been reborn to various places the drama is not yet over. I'll need to say something to the monks tonight, afterwards I am going on a journey, will you come with me?"
"Yes."

The Buddha sat in front of an apple tree, flowers bloomed all around the Buddha as he glowed with a soft white light even thought it was night and the stars and the Crescent moon came out to play. The monks and nuns sat in the full lotus pose around the Buddha in a crescent shape around teh tree so they could all look upon him.
"My good friends," the Buddha began with his musical voice, his soft brown eyes filled with love and purity and the wisdom held by those who are Enlightened, "Yesterday as you are aware of a bloodbath occured that left 20,000 men, women, and children dead and 24 royal dynasties extinct. In a year from now the full truth of everything that lead to this day will be revealed and a time of great confusion shall come, as always we must offer wisdom, guidance, and always aid in attaining Enlightenment."
The monks and nuns nodded in agreement.
"One more thing, I am going to make a journey, with 6 monks and 6 nuns of my choosing I shall travel to Rome to a small Buddhist Temple to teach Enlightenment. I will leave Shu Shun in charge of the monks and nuns. I shall return in a month."
The monks and nuns nodded, they all knew that Shu Shun was one of the first to of attained Enlightenment by the Buddha's teachings, he would keep things in order.
Three Hours Later
The news Media both in Rome and across the globe buzzed with the news of the Buddha's journey to Rome, soon he would apply for a visa and the world would know the name of this new Buddha, soon he would teach The Way in the very heart of the Roman Catholic Church, Rome.

Rome, the Temple of Buddha's Light
After the three hour flight from the city of Arju in Saiogena to Rome and the long walk to the new Temple which was of a simple, yet elegant design based on Japanese architecture, the Temple had five floors and the gardens surrounded the entire temple complex without a gate or wall (which was unusual). The Buddha and the 12 who came with him had introduced themselves to the Head Monk of the temple before going to the gardens to meditate.
The Buddha and the 12 sat beneath the shade of a maple tree to meditate. While the twelve meditated beneath the young maple tree the garden around them seemed to grow at an astonishing rate, almost as if someone hit fast-forward. Within the space of five minutes, the budding garden of trees, and flowers, and vegetables had grown to maturity.
The Buddha and the twelve continued to meditate but the garden stopped growing, they sat in the quiet of nature for an hour before rising. The Buddha glanced at the small temple, looking outside the windows were several monks in sheer awe of what they had witnessed.
It was just the beginning.
Soon the Buddha would begin teaching the Way to the people of Rome, soon it would be seen how the Catholic Church would react to the Wisdom of the Enlightened One.
