In his Imperial chambers, deep within the Holy Largentian Palace, Emperor Johnston lay sick. The docktors all knew death was in the immediate future. If this once glorious man fell so would The Militaristic Union of Largent. Tribes would battle for ultimate control no longer united the banner of freedom. Johnston had no known air, one may exist but would they step forward?

News of his disease had spread and tribes were preparing. Just the other day 100 militia assaulted Imperial guards. Gory images of the bloody chunks were still circulating news networks. "Could civil war be avoided?" so many ask. The answer is most likely not, vengance would be paid in rivers of blood.

In the heart of Wincha, the emperor's home tribal region defenses were being prepared around the capital. The brave soldiers forming these defenses were hiding an important secret. Since the day of his birth Yohan had been put into hiding. He was his father's sole air, rightful air to the throne. The path to such a thing would be bloody and he would be proud to fight in the front lines.

Under a camo tent in Largentian forest, Soldiers talked.

"So in exchange for your support, you want Largent to be part of your Empire?"

"Yes"

"Fair enough"

"Good"

"So, what can you give us then?"

"Equipment, Tanks, Men, it all"

"Thats... nice"

"The empire doesn't do things by halfs, Ugarthian"

"No, of course..."

"What do you need?"

"Need? Well...."

The Pair talked well into the night. Trixia was backing the Ugarth with all it had....

Surveilence had noticed the massive movements. It was time to strike.

CL-67 Universal transport planes took off carrying paratroopers armed with the latest Largentian guns, HEA-50, armed with 15mm bullets that explode in the target along with small rocket launchers these beast got the job done.

As the 7,000 paratroopers were dropped under cover fire they landed in the outskirts of a major Ugarthian city. They began a long range assault with rocket launchers as they waited for air support.

Soon Trixian equiptment would show and the fighting would intensify as fighters were being armed back in Winch, civil war had begun.

In all other regions leaders saw their chances and prepared a strike.

All the Emperor's men were deeply saddened as they knelt at his death bed, he had gone on to a better place and now his only son Yohan of Wincha was ruler of Largent.

Deep within Wincha's walls Yohan gave his speech to his follwers,

"Men, today we will march to the Palace of Largent, this will mean facing the forces off all who oppose us, head-on! Men will die but it must be done to keep our ways civilized! Now arm yourselves as we begin out march, first into Arling then beyond!"

The crowds cheer as Largent is preparing to see the first part of a civil war.

OOC: I think he is just backing them but I may be wrong.

Well, time for some good 'ole double dealing. Trix, if you come back on, are you up for either a post-war struggle for power or a compromise?

IC:
The Pax class cruiser, while not a huge ship, was fairly impressive. Its main advantage for this particular mission was its capability to land on a planets surface without special equipment usualy only found in spaceports.
Now the cruiser sat under a fibre-optic net in the Urgarth camp, with several differnt sensor-jamming devices projecting a very convincing image, smell, and even temperature for an empty patch of grass.

The DGNT ambassador sat in a field chair, quietly talking with the Urgarths camp leader. There was a good deal of nodding and smiling.
"So, in payment for our help you will become part of the Dontgonearthere Empire, but retain most of your national soverignty. In exchange we will provide whatever you require for the war effort, with the exception of weapons of mass destruction, as well as a detatchment of the army to train and fight with your own troops."
Nod, nod.
"Done, the govornment thanks you. The first shipment will arrive shortly."

200 Terminator tanks were on the outskirts of Ugarth. They armed their guns and began to move in firing at all positions.

The troops had entered Ugarths capital, they were the last of the true Largentian military loyal to the government. After the death of the Emperor most had dispersed.

The Trixian equiptment was nowhere to be seen yet(just waiting for the post). The capital would fall but they all knew Ugarth would still live an fight.

Just as they began digging in their positions they watched the cruiser depart. They knew there would be trouble ahead.

Yohan and his followers had begun their journey, little did they know the hardships that would soon be faced.

About fiteen minutes after the DGNT diplomat departed five landers appepeared, coming into view directly above the Urgarth city.
Once they landed DGNT soldiers in powered armour leapt off and began unloading crates, each was a simple, unmarked wooden box.
After each craft had unloaded ten crates the diplomat spoke to the officer in charge.
"This is our first shipment, assault rifles and ammunition, consider it a token of good faith. There are also two crates of PAAR 1 and 2 rockets. The rest are GC11 MKIIIs. There are ten rifles per case, and thirty cases of rifles. There are eighteen cases of ammo with two hundred thirty round clips. The PAAR cases have ten rockets each. And as a special deal, we'll be leaving two of these landers for your use, the crews will stay on until they can train replacements." The man climbled into one of the remaining landing craft and departed.

OOC2:
The landers are Valkyrie craft, under Pax Drive Yards. Everything else is under Golan Arms.

The 200 Terminator tanks arrived in the Ugarthian capitol and set up positions with the 7.000 soldiers in the west side of the city.

When the shipments came in the troops moved in to see what was happening. When they saw the shipments they ordered the tanks in to destroy them.

Meanwhile, Yohan and his men were travelling through Arling when an AA rocket hit a tranport vehicle killing 70 men. Yohan decided to make the assault landing in Arling to eliminate a diret threat to Winch.

Heavy firing began as they landed only miles from Arling's capitol.

OOC: Think of this as a very violent election. People may RP the regions and one wins the leader of that region will become the Emperor of largent.

As for the Arlings they are described in the first post. Until someone claims a region I will RP it temporarily.

As firing had seemed to lessen the troops moved out of Arling under the cover of night. Word had travelled that the people of the capitol were closing off the gates.

Yohan was worried, these "rebels" could cause many to die and now with Largents true and once amazing military fighting for their lives throughout the area who knew if Largent would remain the great nation it once was.

Word had travelled that there was extreme amounts of gurilla style warfare in the region of Arling and Yohan hoped to bring those troops into his force.

Next, he planned to enter the capitol region and use all the equiptment in there to restore peace to this disturbed region.

"Sir, may I have a moment?" Yohan spun to see General Edward Thomas standing behind him.

"Of course you may."

"Sir, I have received dissapointing news. It seems that events have turned for the worse. Rebels are causing horrible damage to the capital and thousands of our men are trapped in Annisquam, they are outumbered and dying by the hundreds. Our only hope is liberatihe troops in Arling and Ugarth. Then if the rebels fight us, they will definatley loose giving us the capitol region."

"Whats horrible about that?"

"Well sir, Ugarth is receiving massive amounts of supplies and out class us until we have teh equiptment of the capitol which the Imperial guard is having dufficulty defending from the Rebels. Time is of the esence and we have none."

"Then gather the men, we will move to our trapped troops then to Ugarth. The ment in Annisquam are beyond our reach. They will die." The general nodded and began gathering the men.

So, me and Trix'll share the Urgarth if Trix comes back?

Errr...can we get some approximate numbers for each region? I would like to know about what percent to use as their military...

Ugarth-Pop.: 500 million: use about .5%-1% for military
Annisquam: Don't worry about it, I'm just going to work it out of the RP for simplicity
Winch: Pop: 530 million: Has basically the Largentian military if it can enter the capitol..but it may be costly
Arling: 300 million: barbarians so troops numbers can't be exact.

As the first wave of Arling troops and tanks ran up against the cities defences (OOC: I assume its got them) the pilots in their landing craft took off, each rather heavily armed vehicle strafing the infantry and tanks with its rockets, machine guns and laser weaponry.
In the landing field troops were quickly organized and issued new weapons, they then procede to take up positions around the city crouching in windows, allyways and even in the sewers, waiting for an enemy to pass.

Underneath the cities streets groups of men with all kinds of explosives were knee deep in filth, wiring several of the cities major intersections with explosives, trying to make as little sound as possible.

In space...
The orbiting DGNT fleet, consisting of five capitol ships, a Millenia class battleship, a Justice class destroyer and three Pax cruisers was holding a geosyncronous orbit above the nation of Largent.
Looking slightly below this and to the left one would note the trails of fire in the sky.
Twenty Revenge fighters acompanied five Shadow bombers, their foreward halfs glowing cherry red from the atmosphereic friction. Eventually the fighters pull out of their dive, cirlce and form up, then procede toward Urgarth.

In Urgarth...
"FIRE!"
AS the shout echoes through the street five PAAR 1 rocket tubes flash, each sends a warhead containing a tiny amount of antimatter toward a group of tanks and men traveling at near the speed of sound.
Just as the rockets leave their tubes men armed with GC-11 Mark III assault rifles open up from buildings and storm drains, sending a hail of 7.62 anti-personell rounds screaming through the air.

Note on DGNTs AP rounds:
The bullets are made up of nanobots, on impact they shatter and cause some pretty nasty wounds, the nanobots then activate, and move toward the nearest heat source, and presumably vital organs.

You described the Arlings as barbarians. I'm hoping that doesn't mean bear hides and huge axes, cuz that won't do hot against tanks.

No, I don't mena that, they just have a way of life that is viewed as uncivilized but they have armies and weapons.

Troops originally on a mission to destroy the Ugarthian capitol were pulled out. They were now to head towards Yohan and his force so that they may caoture the capitol and have acess to the true force they deserve.

Yohan waited anxiously at the rendezvous point, it wouldn't be long before the troops began to arrive.
