2002 NATIONS! Gathering of the first and greatest nations!

Imperial Forces

This is call to all nations created in 2002, come here and join powers with those of your power! This convention is for all nations that were around at the start of the world and are still here.

*This is not an allaince in way, shape or form. Just a meeting of old nations to talk, meet up and share tales of their conquests!

I might have been around at 2002. I could have been ressurrected, and therefore noone would know.

Anyway, it's not fair. Who says you are the greatest?

That's a generalisation.

Mathematics does. 3,000,000,000 is greater than 5,000,000. Or whatever.

There are more people in the Arab Middle East nations IRL than Israel, but that didn't stop them from kicking their arse magnas. Superior equipment, training, tactics, etc. can make all the difference.

If you were ressurrected, you wouldn't have a population of 62 million  :P

US vs Vietnam is a similar case, either way, why does the greatness of a country have to be based on military? Britain's army conquered a third of the entire world, but the Britain itself is a shithole.

Xactly. I'm only a 2003 nation, but I have superior woodchipping industry and furniture restoration sectors!

Actually, you don't grow when you are dead. I would be 2 billion if I hadn't had been deleted.

Nah when you get resurrected your population grows to what it would be had you not been deleted. Ask Brazillico.

My point is, the greatness of a nation should not be based solely on population. Some of the big nations in International Incidents are far from what one would call great (Forget what the wand guy in the first Harry Potter said). However, despite being only in the mid 700s, I have managed to carve out at least a degree of recognition among the other nations. If it must be old nations though, contact Automagfreek. He rules NS. Period.

As has already been stated, revived nations' populations are what they would have been if they hadn't been deleted in the first place; that's how you can tell revived nations from newbie posers.

Oh my freaking god... How about we forget about this business? Cause all it'll end being is a numberwanking fest and a lot of flaming... I have a population over 2 billion, but do I freaking wank about how good my military is? No... So can we stop?

I don't see any number wanking going on, closest thereof being responses to folks who are basicly coming in to say 'Oh yeah? You're not so great'.

I see it as being more aimed at seeing how many of us are still around and actively RPing.

Seconds...
But seriously, this exact what Kanuckistan said, just joining up with other nations that are still around. A 2002 nation with imploded economy and no military isn't going to be strong now, isn't it?

WTF does 2billion population have anything to do with this.

2002 NATIONS, NATIONS CREATED IN 2002

Really, it's only greatness in the way that some nations would respect their elders. Like the Japanese. Certainly not Americans.

Respect your elders, cause here, they can kick your ass.

Pssssh, this is discrimination I say!

Just to settle the previous discussion on nation resurrection: A resurrected nation's population will be what it was when it was deleted, it will not adjust to what it would have been if it never were deleted.

2002 player, but Pantera was my second nation, founded on Jan 11 of '03.

My first RP was with RF, O-H, and a few of the other oldtimers, the Azeri Independence thread, canna remember the exat name.

Pop. and fouding means little in true roleplaying, unless your an ass. That said, I thank the original poster for this thread. I'm kinda curious to see who all is left from Waaaaaay back when.

Wrong.

When a nation deletes, all stats freeze. When restored it has the population it had at the moment of being deleted, not what it "should" have if it had been active the whole time.

And locked. Not RP, spammy and there's nothing 'great' about the fact you found a website before someone else. Judge on RP, not founding date.
