Ok, what is a reasonable maximum defense budget (as percentage of national budget) and what is a reasonable percentage of the population to be in the military with that budget percantage (assuming a well trained and eqipped military)?
Also, what do you think a reasonable percentage would be for my country, which is democratic and does not have compulsory service, but places a high emphasis on defense spending and going into the military is viewed to be a very repectable carrer.?
