Government Hierarchy:
I. Elder Eleutherian: Jefwi Babay - Oversees and is responsible for all departments of Eleutherian. Spokesman for the people. Figurehead of Eleutherian.
II. Welfare Eleutherian: Oversees the vast department of welfare.
III. Civil Rights Coordinator: ensures that all civil rights-related legislation is carried out to the utmost effect.
III. Housing Coordinator: ensures all citizens of Eleutherian have home and property.
III. Employment Coordinator: ensures all citizens of Eleutherian have productive employment.
III. Politics Coordinator: oversees both national and local elections, as well as the poltical status of Eleutherian in general.
IV. Voting Czar: ensures all citizens participate in national and local elections.
IV. Politics Czar: ensures all politicians and political offices are corruption-free, and serving Eleutherian as they should.
III. Entertainment Coordinator: oversees and ensures that viable entertainment options exist for citizens of Eleutherian.
IV. Sports Czar: ensures the existance various sports leagues, and both the figurative and literal health of their teams and players.
IV. Festival Czar: ensures the consistent presence of local and national festivals and fairs.
IV. Concert Czar: ensures the consistent presence of musical concerts, at both national and local levels.
IV. Miscellaneous Czar: responsible for the development of new forms of entertainment.
II. Financial Eleutherian: oversees the financial well-being of Eleutherian.
III. Tax Coordinator: ensures income taxes are collected from every citizen of Eleutherian.
III. Treasury Coordinator: manages the nationals finances.
III. Commerce Coordinator: oversees trade within Eleutherian. Also oversees the few private capitalistic organizations in Eleutherian.

Background:
Eleutherian is a tiny nation that somewhat recently ceceeded from the nation of The United States of America. Eleutherian was founded many years ago as a utopian commune in the northwestern United States. They lived in peace and seclusion for several decades, until the late 1980s and early 1990s.
It was then, when faced with the onslaught of an exceedingly capitalistic and weatlh-focused way of life, as well as a political system that featured a near complete lack of citizen involvement, that the members of Eleutherian decided to begin work on forming the ground work of their own government and nation.
Six years later, in the year 2000, all members of Eleutherian left the United States of America and founded a small colony in some uninhabited land in the West Pacific. They officially formed The Community of Eleutherian. However, no other nations recognized their existence (partly because Eleutherian never told anyone that they were there). For four years, Eleutherian prospered in peace and obscurity. Now, in the year 2004, Eleutherian has emerged from their secluded state in the West Pacific to openly and officially introduce themselves as a sovreign nation.
The Basis of The Community of Eleutherian:
Eleutherian believes in peace. It believes in complete freedom. These beliefs were founded in Eleutherian's days as a small commune. Members of the commune were not policed. They all shared the same mind-set and outlook on life. This is how Eleutherian continues to function as a nation.
Eleutherian's largest concern is civil and human rights. Their rights programs, as well as their current civil rights situation, are second-to-none. Several drugs are legal, including: marijuana, shrooms, LSD, and ecstasy. They are legal because citizens of Eleutherian want to use them. Several drugs are illegal, including: cocaine, heroin, and crack. They are illegal because citizens of Eleutherian do not want to use them.
One of the few strictly enforced laws is that citizens of Eleutherian must vote in elections. However, the law rarely needs to be enforced, as mostly all citizens do so of their own accord. Crime is virtually nonexistent in Eleutherian. There is no police force to prevent it. Crime just does not happen.
Eleutherian also does not have an army or navy. It has never had to protect itself before, and does not forsee the need to. It has always been the experience of Eleutherian, even while a tiny commune in The United States of America, that others left them to themselves. Eleutherian just exists and has always been left to do just that.
The Elder Eleutherian, Jefwi Babay, has held his post since Eleutherian's days as a commune in The United States of America. He is 62 years old. Elections are held every year for most political offices, and every two years for the office of Eleder Eleutherian. Mr. Babay has yet to lose an election, and ran, in fact, unopposed in every election but two.
