OOC: Sounds like a good start. There are individual banks in real life whose worldwide assets are measured in the trillions.

Good idea, although not useful right now, it might be handy later on.

Well, to be honest, we haven't gotten around to calculating the totals in the accounts yet, but there is one account with fifty billion in it, so I just estimated after that. I'm sure that it's more than 75 billion. However, we do have over two trillion dollars worth of stock in various companies. (We use our regional reserves to back us up with capital).

Shonar Bangla, your telling me that more money isn't useful? You get 1.25% interest on the money in your account, which is calculated on Sunday. How can you pass that up? Create an account, deposit money, and you get money by doing nothing!

OOC: Ah, real money is not created by sinking into savings, but in active pursuit - such as stocks, mutual funds, etc... If your money is in a bank - you have to factor in the rate of inflation. But I digress...

IC:

Power Financial has been made aware of this new "bank" and wouldn't mind keeping their options open.

Oh of course, what I was talking about was that we didn't need to borrow, but yes, we are interested in depositting in your bank, and watch the money grow, lol.

The NSBC is growing rapidly. We are introducing Insurance and a new Proxy Buying service in the not to distant future. Our safe deposit box business is booming and we get about two new accounts a day.

Come and be a part of the NSBC and join the long line of happy customers. Don't accept any cheap knock-offs as banks, you should only trust the best, the NSBC.

Though you may be tempted by other banks started by other nations, the NSBC is the original bank, the one that had the first forum, the one that first had a reasonable system for a bank.

Don't go and visit other, shody banks where your money isn't safe, and corruption abounds - visit us with the most secure facilities of any bank, plus a very helpful administrative team.

Actually, while we're not offering stock at this time to banks, I wouldn't mind authorizing our Finance deparment to purchase a large block of shares in your bank. Say, a 25% stake?

At the moment, we are not selling stock AS SUCH, however, by making a deposit in the bank, you give us access to those funds which we use to improve our service and make money for you. Stock in the bank is currently closely held within the Unforgiven at the moment, but we will inform you should that change.

If you wish to invest, go

and follow the easy instructions on how to open an account. Thank you for your interest, and stay in touch!

As stated above, currently NSBC is not traded publically, though due to the volume of requests, the discussion has been reopened.

As for regulation, the bank is currently run by members of the Unforgiven region. Because we have a guarunteed interest rate of 1.25% per NS year, regulation is a moot point. However, if you wish to learn more about the functioning of the bank, and the several securety tests one of our clients put us through (a fraud test, an armed assault simulation, and an attempted hacking) which we passed with flying colors, please come here:

Shares in the NSBC will more than likely be traded. At the moment numbers of shares to be released, along with the percentage to be made to non-NSBC staff is currently under scruitiny, however this looks like it will be a pernament addition.

Share types and numbers are being finalised at the moment. Current estimates put the number of shares to be released at 1bil, roughly 40% of the total shares. There will be two types of shares, each around $100. The cap on each nations purchase of shares directly from the NSBC is estimated to be around 1mil.

Final details shall be posted in a new thread when they are available.

Thank you for visiting the NSBC.

Drakonian Imperium: The interest rates are 1.25% per year. However, to save the stress on the staff, this is calculated each Sunday (RL) with a 8.75% interest.

Camdean: There are many benifits, including gaining interest on money stored in the NSBC, being able to take out loans (though you probably won't need them), having your money in a safe location, where no-one can access it, you can take out insurance for various things, future-proffing yourself against calamities.

In that case Camdean would like to invest 500 billion euronets into the bank
