Discussion: The State of World Socialism

The Welfare State
29-05-2004, 15:53
We, the government of the People's Republic of the Welfare State believe it is time for Communist, Socialist and Left Wing organisations across the globe to discuss the current worldwide situation in regards to the advance (or rollback) of Socialist thought and the possible future of our movements. We believe that without the cooperation of left-wing states, the workers cause shall fall. We know of the existance of the CACE, however they seem to be quiet as of late in regards to worldwide affairs and we were curious as to whether they would be willing to become more actively involved in the promotion of the Socialist Cause.
The floor is open to discussion.

ooc: the CACE is actually quite active, though not on the NS forums, since so many of us have a hard time getting on when America is awake. the Fourth Conference of Anti Capitalist Economies is currently being planned, and a quick trip to the CACE HQ (www.invisionfree.com/forums/cace), with a quickly started thread, will answer all questions.

Lieutenant Shin-kyun's attendance was probably not the first thing... anyone would have expected, the Choson People's Republic of Dra-pol having spent generations shunning diplomatic contact and the Lieutenant being an agent of its most feared and secretive element, the Banat.

However, the apparent victory of Kurosite thinking under Secretary Hotan against the Koshiako-lead Suloists, and the near conclusion of the Korean war brought changes. DaKhiem was keen to promote its revolution and the unification it brought... and securing aid couldn't hurt in the light of Pyongyang's nuclear decimation.
