The slaughter of Kenyapithicea space assets proceeds unabated. This will probably first be noticed in the loss of command and control over deployed forces using encrypted satellite communications, then by the extreme inaccuracy of certain guided weapons as their coded GPS guidance becomes useless due to the GPS network having ceased to exist; and of course all space defenses slowly blinking out of the roster.

As the fighters and gunners have their turkey-shoot, Sky Marshal Rico taps his chief communications technicians on the shoulder. "Transmission to the adversary, standard radio, unencrypted."
