Coalition Of Political Influence Pact

OOC: {Due to differences in opinion of how this alliance should be run, and because I fear that running this alliance like a dictatorship (which is how Tremalkier wants to run it), and due to Tremalkirs lack of effort/care in the planning process of this alliance, I have decided to reform it, with him excluded. I hope this way, COPIP can follow through with its goals.}

Who we are
COPIP is an alliance commited to exerting influence over world crises and conflicts, in an attempt to keep a degree of reason in the worlds day to day affairs. COPIP was founded by the nation TROUSRS in an effort to restore and maintain the rule and organization that once existed in this world, but in newer ages, seems to be near completely diminished, if not already gone for good.

How we operate
COPIP is based on the belief that one group of highly admired and respected nations should administer influence, mainly diplomatically, and occasionally by force, that suggests organization, maintainance and diplomatic stability throughout the world.

Applicants are put through rigorous background check and approval period by the high council. The organization is lead by threer (3) main positions (known as the leadership council), one of which is permernant, while the other two rotate in and out approximately every month depending on the quality of job they have done. These 3 memebers share equal power and say over the alliances happenings. The members of COPIP vote for who will be placed in said positions. (Note: Elections are usually monthly, however they may vary depending on the job that they have done. No member may serve for more than 3 consecutive terms in office.)

The Positions
Foreign Informant - This job entails just about everything that doesn't have to do with internal affairs. The member in this position is responsible for keeping the other members informed and updated on international incidents, the status of enemies and other alliances, and actions against COPIP (which should be immediately reported to the Leadership council and other High Council members).

Security General - To be awarded this position, members must display leadership qualities, such as the ability to act swiftly and wisely in a rather short period of time. The member in this position is responsible for keeping up with international incidents, specifically military movements, or diplomatic movements that could lead to military actions. This member is also in charge of COPIP Defense Forces, and is resposible for the protection of all COPIP member nations (to a point).

Acceptance

To be accepted into COPIP, you must have a respected reputation, be mature about the majority of incidents, and be willing to devout yourself to what will become one of the greatest powers of this time, and future times to come.

The leadership council wishes to be as fair as possible with this selection process, so an explaination may be given for the reason of acceptance. Invitations have been/ will be sent out to select nations with an offer to join COPIP.

The Star Realms of the Five Civilized Nations wishes to join this new coalition. As we are a well-respected member of the international community, we believe that we can bring a great deal of support to the coalition.

The Five Civilized Nations is a founding member of the Galatic Defense Alliance and the International Allied Defense Federation, along with a former member and Chief Financial Officer of the United Nations Space Consortium Board of Directors.

Euroslavia also wishes to join this coalition. I normally don't like to join in too many alliances, but I feel that this alliance is well worth it, as it finally encompasses a lot of the similar feelings I've been having late when it comes to international incidents. There needs to be some sort of mediator in it all.

As for the Order, and sword waving, let me just say that myself and TROUSRS differ on some issues, including how we shall bring in nations, but I believe that whatever problems we do encounter, will in time be resolved in the favor of a more... sophisticated organization. OOC: First off, Ive only actively RPed in three or four wars. Ive only use one nuke, and it was a 4kt cruise missle tactical nuke. And Ive asked, several times, for allies to not get involved in my wars, but they do anyways. Finally, its about winning you twit. You're probably right about the 30,000 F-16s...I'll greatly reduce that number now.

The 59 million however is 2.5% of my population. That's the number I've used ever since I first started playing NationStates.

Frankly, the fact you are trying to bar someone over an alliance they happen to be in that another nation you dislike has joined, is preposterous, and unacceptable. As for you Tasty Foods, 2.5% is...kind of being too picky. China for instance, the largest army in the world, doesn't have 2.5% of its population in the Army. Its all relative. You don't need that many. Frankly, the more men you have the worse they are, you have to train, feed, supply, house, etc, all those troops, all the time. Much better to be small, elite, and adaptable)

I'm withdrawing from this alliance. The overall quality has plummeted, and I find no reason to stay within it. As such I'll likely be joining either APTO, or perhaps another successful alliance in the near future, pending my activity level at NS, which will probably become very limited to only strictly set up RPs in the near future.
