Xan overview, lesson one.
(I made this because I have been asked a lot about the Xan, hopefully this will satisfy your thirst for info…by the way, there is only one lesson…so far.)
First off, how I came about the Xan.
It all started when I was 11 years old, three years ago, I was writing a book about a group of kids who were hired into this secret government organization, well the prequel to it. Then I decided I would need an evil race, content on taking over the galaxy…poof! The Xan were born.
First the Xan were nothing more than two feet high, three legged creatures with cylinder shaped bodies. They were biological, not energy like the present day ones are. They came to earth and launched their first assault against it, but an espionage team destroyed them, which were the main characters of the story.
Then I decided for the fifth book to bring them back, and I decided they would need a new way to get around Earth, poof robotic exoskeletons, I decided right then and there to make the Xan forms of energy.
But then I needed a reason why they were in robotic exoskeletons and here is what I came up with…
1.Xan History
-The Xan are not from our galaxy at all, they come from another galaxy, not at all like our own. They were overpopulated, every planet in every system was Xan occupied, they needed more space. They went to their lords, in the very heart of their galaxy, and spoke with them. The lords meditated on this for three days, and in the end they found a galaxy easy for conquering, our very own.
2. They come
-Millions of Xan departed their galaxy, taking hundreds of thousands of ships; they spent a total of 300 years in deep space, through the infinitely long space between galaxies. They arrived in our system during a time of about 200 BC. In Earth years. The lords were right, this galaxy would be easy for taking, except one thing, this galaxy was made up different then theirs. In the first few years every planet they went to the Xan would just fade away due to lack of Carbio-Jioxide. So they countered it, they made suits that produce Carbio-Jioxide for them, (page 2). These suits allowed them to move about the planets, but the suits held them back, they had to upgrade to make their ships able to be piloted by these suits.
3. The fighting begins
-The system of Sprathia, a crawling busy system, they had enough technology to fly from planet to planet, so all twenty of them were full of the alien race occupying the system, the Xan’s first target. They came in a massive wave, all their ships, they didn’t want to underestimate their enemy, and they never do. They brought in an asteroid, a giant asteroid, and hurtled at the first planet, the asteroid collided, making a four-mile radius crater. Dust and ash and fire filled the air, and then the Xan came down, not needing to breath and took out the survivors. Then they slowly spread to the other planets, their superior technology easily overmatching the enemies. The system was theirs, and they named it after their race ‘Xan’ which means conquer in the human tongue.
4. Advancement
-From there on they advanced to the next systems, they acquired ten more systems before the U.W (United Worlds) began to defend. They sent out fleets upon fleets and so the first Xan war began, it was a ten-year war, and not the biggest war this galaxy has seen. But it was one of the bloodiest, the Xan were outnumbered 10 to 1 but the still fought with all their might, and more casualties turned out on the U.W’s side then the Xan’s. They made a treaty the ‘Sprathia Treaty’ making it that the Xan are no longer allowed to advance anymore in this galaxy, also that a blockade will be set up in the Xan system to keep an eye on them, and that all P.O.W’s had to be released.
Xan Chemistry
The Xan are not a physical form like we, and most other alien races are. They are a form of energy, in appearance they are a blue glowing fog, about the size of a human head. They are made of some material unknown to our galaxy, but they do seem to be a sort of electricity. They cannot live in our galaxy though, so they made robotic exoskeletons.
Xan Technology
A. Suits
Exoskeletons- There are two forms
1. The soldier, this form looks much like a human in every way, majority of them are males, the suit has a Carbio-Jioxide filter, which creates Carbio-Jioxide, which allows the Xan to move freely in our galaxy. The Xan suit acts like our own body does to us, with the Xan being the brain and nervous systems and all that.
2. The worker- It acts just like the soldier, but it does not fight and the appearance is different. It appears to have a circular body, with little pinchers and two eyes, and four legs, spider legs. The worker makes the repairs around the ships and technology.
B. Weapons
Staff Weapons
1. These weapons are seven foot staves, on one end is a triangular pyramid, with the tip inside the staff, on the other end is a arrowhead shape. That end opens up, splitting down the middle of the arrowhead, and that end fires out a projectile laser. They fire the weapon by a smooth rubber area underneath a raised ledge (hard to describe with my state of mind). Another area is the power supply, you can move your finger on it and raise up the power, or lower it.
Hand to Hand
1. The ceremonial dagger, this dagger is used for ceremonies and ceremonies only, for instances such as sacrificing a soul to the Xan lords.
C. Ships
Motherships- Star shaped, dark red colored, measuring from one tip to the opposite is 1 kilometer long.
World Ship- 9 km tall, 4 km from one vertex to the next, square pyramid shape, gold colored.
Deathbringer- One man fighters, shaped like an arch with the cockpit on top, also it has three laser barrels going down each wing, gray.
Bombers- Five man crafted vehicles, oval shaped, gray, has a giant cannon on bottom to drop energy bombs from.
Frigates- ½ kilometer long, oval shaped, black equipped with many laser cannons.
D. Other
1. As many would think this is just a normal war going on with them, but in reality it is a holy war, a war based on religion, they were promised by their lords, who are gods to them, that they could have this area, this area was promised to them, so they came to claim it.
