BREAKING NEWS!
In the early morning hours of May 25, 2004, a secret document was signed, thus giving birth to the Rogue Nation of Germaniraq. This new nation is located in the region formerly known as the "Bloody Row", now known as the Terrorist and Dictator Row. The Rogue Nation of Germaniraq consists of 3 major tribes, 164 smaller tribes, and 33 other factions that have lived in the Terrorist and Dictator Row area since the many great civil wars of 1755 through 1908 that eventually divided the once powerful country of Iraqipotamia-Abull into over 1000 tribes and factions.
The new country of Germaniraq is governed by Sodammi Insani IV, great-grandson of Sodammi Insani I, the infamous bloodthirsty general of Iraqipotamia-Abull who lead a majority of the great campaigns in the last civil war, from 1896 to 1908. When Sodammi Insani I was ambushed by the large rebel tribes of Austruthia, Insurgio-Reppert, and Ricolinthia in November of 1908, he and all 500 of his men were brutally murdered and their mutilated body parts were scattered throughout the desert. Less than a month later, the country of Iraqipotamia-Abull had crumbled.
Despite alleged Nazi and terrorist ties, Sodammi Insani IV said earlier today he will lead his new country in a way that avoids violence at all costs. Many rumors were reported as to the validity of this claim. Several similar rumors stated Sodammi Insani IV was nothing but a thinly disguised oppressor and terrorist. Other reports said that several small tribes were forced to join Germaniraq against their will, being threatened by the larger tribes and factions. Notably, neither the tribes of Austruthia, Insurgio-Reppert, nor Ricolinthia are included in Germaniraq. However, in a lengthy speech made earlier today, Sodammi Insani IV said any feelings he harbors toward other tribes or countries would not interfere with how he will run Germaniraq.
It was noted that Insani's cabinet consists of 10 suspected terrorists who are controlling approximately 200 intelligence agents for the country. Also, every tribe and faction will send a delegate to be heard by Insani himself or his cabinet every six months. Insani has expressed an interest in publishing a government-controlled newspaper, and possibly a radio or television news channel at a later date.
Leaders of neighboring countries interviewed say they hope the unification of Germaniraq will lead to a decrease in bloodshed for the first time since Iraqipotamia-Abull was divided, but some also noted that they are skeptical of Germaniraq's peaceful nature. One Prime Minister, who will remain unnamed at his request, heatedly stated, "When buildings in my capital city were bombed seven years ago, all the intelligence I gathered pointed directly to Insani and his followers! After my country exhausts time and money hunting him for all these years, he suddenly resurfaces, and now he's a peaceful leader of a peaceful country?! Forgive me if I'm not too quick to believe what he says." Representatives of Germaniraq were not available for comment on this allegation.
