Have you ever come across one of those issues where none of the solutions fit what you want to have happen?

Like the energy one.

it gives you a choice of
A) wind turbines and solar power
B) Coal.
C) nuclear power.

I'd like to see an option D : Geothermal and Hydro

But, I go with nuclear

Pebble Bed Reactors are a nice "safe" form of fission, if you haven't got fusion yet. You can't get fusion through issues, though, you gotta RP it.

Nuclear? Ha! It’s all about coal - beautiful, productive, abundant, coal. It’s the way of the future! And don’t forget that if you subject it to enough pressure, it’ll become a diamond! Or that if you put a very small bit of coal in an oyster, it’ll be come a pearl. Or something.

In all seriousness, the issues aren’t meant to have realistic solutions for every problem - they’re supposed to be funny. Accept them for what they are, and if none of the solutions fit in with what you want your county, just dismiss ‘em.

Yes, it is all about coal, all about the thick black smoke clouds billowing out and polluting the air...yes, indeed, it is all about blocking out the sun with pollution :)
