This will be the biggest thing I make on this, the biggest and hopefully the best, everyone who can should join in because they will be partaking in something that will change the galaxy..forever.]
TV News Cast
"I am reporting today from the planet Hardidia, which is on the outskirts of civilization in this galaxy," A female reporter said, she had light brown hair that went past her shoulders, and dark framed glasses. "Even though that it is on the edge of civilization it is heavily populated and majority of the landmass are cities. I am here reporting something tragic...the Xan have begun laying a heavy attack here. They have bombarded cities for days now, military officials are trying to evacuate, but it is not going well. A fleet arrived trying to counter the Xan, but we lost contact with them."
She paused looking around.
"We need to get out of the streets!" SHe yelled and she started running for a building the camera guy followed, and in the background explosions were heard, and when the camera swayed on hte horizen you could see lasers falling from the sky onto the city buildings.
The two got in a building, and looked outside, many others were crowding along. The camera pointed into the sky, and two Xan mothership descended through the clouds, the dark red star shaped ships going against the gray cloud/smoke/fog sky.
The two motherships started shooting down onto the city again, then the camera went out.

The Xan... a word that could terrify any soul. The most feared things in our galaxy maybe. They are extremely intelligent, masterminds, strategists, planners, thinkers. But they are conquerers, their lifestyle is based on conquering other races and expanded their own. So sometimes intelligence is replaced by agression for them. In appearance they appear to be a human, with the same charactaristics humans have, in all reality they are energy, that live in exoskeletons that look like humans. In their true form they look like a blue glowing fog, about the size of a human head. They need the exoskeletons to live for they are not from our galaxy either, they came from their own, in which the only race is the Xan. They require a certain substance in the air to live and our galaxy does not have that, so they built these suits to help them live, if the suit acts much like their own body if shot in a vital spot they die. They came to our galaxy because they were promised this galaxy by their lords. They came here first, just a scout mission, and took one system as their own, of which they habitated all the planets.
They met resistance, and the first war took place. A twenty year struggle, that tore at the very foundation of the civilized governments. The Xan stayed in their little system, a peace treaty was signed, but Xan are usually not ones to be peaceful. In recent days they have been striking hard, with ships that have come from seemingly no where. They have been taking over the rim of our galaxy, and the governments have been acting against it. The sides seem to be equal, and only time can tell the victor.
A Xan's combat uniform was usually a metal armour mesh, chain mail, with heavier mail over it. They have gotten newer armour now though. It looks like a leather/rubber jumpsuit, green, with more padded areas on the shoulder, the shins, knees, and a leather cap on their heads, suprissingly this new armour is better than the old kind, it seems to block out heat for the most part from enemy fire, lasers, but bullets seem to work better against it.
They also have a new Elite Version Armour, it looks like black plastic, with polyphober underneath it. All black, covering every inch of the body, the helmet is all plastic with big shaded bug eyes. There is even a cloaking version, which when the cloak is off the armour is white.
They for the most part, still use the old staff weapon, a staff with a triangle on one end, and a arrow head on the other, the arrow head can split open, and shoot out laser bolts from it. The Elites have built in smaller versions on their lower arms, near the wrists, that shoot out laser repeatidly.
Xan ships have stayed the same, the motherships, dark red and star shaped about 1 kilometer from one end point to the other. Then there is the World Ships which are square pyramid shapes, about 9 kilometers tall, and 4 kilometers from one vertex to the next on the bottom. Then the oval shaped frigates about 1/4 a kilometer long, and then the one man piloted Deathbringers, which are shaped like arches with the cockpit on top and three lasers going down each wing.
A new ship is the bomber, an oval shaped ship with a big turret on the bottom that drops off energy bombs. It requires no less than a 5 man crew.
They gain many worlds to their cause not by violence, but by persuasion, they act and pretend like gods to many not so civilized worlds. And then enslave the race to do their bidding.
If the race rejects them then violence comes in, but if the race is able to fly from star system to the next the Xan use violence no matter what.
One more thing about the Xan, not all live in exoskeletons, some the lords, live in human bodies, they take the body over and use it to give them life, they are like parasites. The body dies they die also.

[OOC: Alright you can join in, bring in fleets but be sure to have main characters, if you just have a main character but not a fleet or anything then I promise your character will be important. They can range from a military soldier or officer to a civilian of your nation, anything really, remember this affects us all. So join in have fun, you can blow up Xan at your own will because there are a lot of them it doesn't matter to me how many you blow up but keep it a resonable number I will post more later]
[OOC: Continuing}
The intense battle struggled on, 23 Destroyer Class ships against 25 Xan Motherships. The lasers pounded from one side to the other while fighter ships fought inbetween, many dying not only of enemy fire but freindly fire.
The fighters dived and snap turned evading as much as possible, the Techon ships were including the one man fighters; Starheads, X-2s, and Solar Striders, 2 man ships; T-Wings, and 5-10 man ships; Backrunners and X-Runners.
Inside the Glory Admiral Stuhok sat in his personalized quarters. Which were bigger than most admiral quarters. He had a bed, a bathroom, carpated floor, and a little minibar. He was sitting at a table that looked out the window, watching the battle take place. He sipped his Pina Jolatai, the finest wine in the western galaxy.
He watched the battle with honor, they were outnumbered but winning the battle. He looked at all the little flashes, lives being taken away, brave souls.
All admirals and officers had to admit sometime that a space battle is a beautiful sight in its own odd way, the amazing light display and everything. A masterpeice, a grand finale on a fireworks show.
He leaned back in his seat, and rubbed his gray mustache.
He was a man of 56 years old serving in the military for 37 years of his life. He had short gray hair that stuck up, and a gray mustache. His face looked like the face of a soldier, stern, forceful, but in a way understanding.
He stood up, and walked to his minibar, and took a cigar from the counter, he stuck it in his mouth and lit the end. He breathed in deep, closing his eyes, he took the cigar out between his two fingers, and breathed out.
He walked back to the window and stood up looking out it, then he heard a knock on the door.
"Come in," He said in a stern raspy voice.

"Ah! Good day to you Admiral Stuhok!" said General Roz, "I am General Roz, I am a 5 star General and I lead Roz-topia's Navy, Army and Marines! I have just gotten off hard duty with this whole clash with East Napulur and that little pain in the neck, General Zor, but besides that I'm willing to give you help! Roz was a taller bigger built man, he was of a much younger age than Stuhok, Roz being only an age of 42, but he was very stocky and built cut, from all the military training he had been through to reach his position. He had brown hair with blonde highlights, stood about 6'4" and had his hair waxed up with his bangs sticking straight up in the front. He took much pride in his hair. He was always in a tizzy whether it was war or just negotiating with other nations. Here he just decided to walk in on Admiral Stuhok. Roz then asks, "So of what assistance would you need of Roz-topia and it's territories?"
Stuhok walked to the window again.
"Well as you see the Xan have been leading an assaut along the outside of the galaxy. They are planning a massive assault I can see it now. They claim a ring around us, then move in..." He activated the hologram. "As you can see from their system they spread out, making a ring. I have had the ring colored red..." A red ring circled a quarter way around the outside of the galaxy. "They will move in, and if we don't respond we will fall to their attack, no doubt they will attack at once, or close to it."
He took a deep breath of his cigar.
"All nations should respond to this, if not we will all fall, so far the only nations really responding are us (Techon), Arenumberg, and CoreWorlds. We need as much help as possible, that means everyone, if we all join together we can win this war I am sure of it," Stuhok said. "I have been put in command of Techon's fleets every since Jorsqe was stationed on Techon's Pride."
He breathed out, smoke gliding across the window. "What we need is as many men, and ships possible."

The scout squadron of Gregin Scout/Fighters dropped back to reality just outside the as of yet unexplored system. It took them a moment to form up, especially without a Unihalith to coordinate the ships. Most of the pilots were green, on what was supposed to be a good first mission.
Tsorana Kimad, veteran scout pilot, had been mulling over his sisters dissapearance two months ago on a scout mission, his mind was snapped back to reality by the horrified shriek of the treth bulb to the right side of his cockpit.
"What in the name of Yumik?"
"Sir, this is Two, we appeared to have stumbled into a war."
"..this system benign..."
"...briefing didn't say..."
"Cut the chatter!" Tsorana shouted at the treth bulb, which was laboring to produce the sounds of all the squadron pilots. "Yes, it does appear that briefing was wrong on this, but we still have our mission. Three I want you to open comm with base and report this, groups 2 and 3 form up and complete the scouting of your targets. Two, three, you're with me, we'll move once Three is done."
With much smoother, but still shaky flight, the flattened coral ships spread out towards the outlying planets. The main group paused for a while while Three reported their findings, then they moved in slowly to the main planet, the one under bambardment.
"Lead, shouldn't we be staying out of this? Its not our fight." Two came over the treth.
"We are staying out of it Two, all we want to have a look. However I am ordering you to ready up shields and weapons."
"That sounds like a premonition."
"Yumika I hope not."
The four ships closed the distance from their drop point to the main planet.
They're insane, thinks Admiral Gihei Jumonji aboard XAS-698. His monstrous Eclipse class starship cuts through space in level eight slipstream, a small group of protective craft in formation around it. The Admiral, a burly, commanding figure six and a half feet tall, paces the bridge contemplatively. The Republic didn't need a war. It didn't need to even concern itself with the events occuring on the far galactic edge. Nonetheless, his orders had been handed down two days ago: Rendezvous with fleet in regional sector two-nine and proceed to galactic sector 372946. Investigate activity of mystery Xan race. Assess intentions and attempt contact. Return to Techon capital and request further information. Proceed back to port and report. Estimated mission time is one week.
Damn them anyway. Gihei sits in his seat, feeling the eyes of the bridge crew on him. They're smarter than this. The Triumvirate knows better than to send a task force this size into a potentially hostile situation. They've got something up their sleeves, I just know it.
He sighs and looks about the large command deck. To his right is his ready room, to the left is the briefing room, and behind him is the exit to the turbolift and a door to the escape pods and supply closet. Ahead of him the stars rush by on the theatrical-size viewscreen, veering wildly from time to time as the ship's Pilot Chobit expertly evades stellar obstacles at the insane speed of 10,000,000 times the speed of light. "Universe preserve us..." He says softly. The bridge crew is solemn, seven officers work at the rear stations and the pilot works in his solitary seat at the front of the bridge, looking like something out of Metropolis with data cables attached across his... its body; an android doing what it did best. To his immediate right sat his first officer for this mission, the young and beautiful Captain Lowe. The seat to his left contains another, more muscular female; Commander Asai. Further to the sides and behind him float the rest of the bridge crew, suspended in tubes of nanomachine-infused bio-gel; controlling the ship on the neural level. They each have a console before them, for use if the neural connections fail. Sighing heavily, he queries the Pilot Chobit. "What's our E.T.A. to sector three-seven... uhh... whatever?" The sentient android responds, casting its amused eyes toward the Admiral a moment before returning them to the screen and dodging a solar system. If it weren't for all the tubes and wires connecting him to the ship's navigational system, he would look almost Xanthalian. As it was though, he was an interesting conversation piece.
"Thirteen hours Sir. I'd take a break if I were you. No use in burning yourself out before we get there." The Admiral growls.
"If I wanted your opinion, I'd have asked for it." He's betrayed by an irresistable urge to yawn. "But, I guess a rest wouldn't hurt. You have the bridge Captain." He rises and walks to the turbolift, disappearing behind the sliding doors. The Captain takes the center chair and the Commander moves to her right. The transition is quiet and reserved. Captain Kunie Lowe only hopes that the entire trip can be so peaceful. The six hundred ninty-eighth starship of the Xanthalian Armada races on towards the galaxy's edge, knowing not what to expect when they arrive; but suspecting only the worst.
OOC:The second Xan war? I must have missed the frist one. The Xan, the Demons, this galaxy has an tentency to get invaded doesn't it. Hmm where could I find some more about this?
[OOC: I made a book about the first Xan war, but never got it pubished, I will make a new thread describing the Xan more, then I will put a link here]
Scout ship ZZ-089
The country rock music played on the background, the lights were red, the three men sat in their stations.
"Man why do we have to listen to this shit?" One asked.
"Because I want to," The leader said going over his radar screen.
They were stationed in an asteroid feild, near what used to be the blockade fleet of the Xan system. When the Xan attacked the fleet it was obvious the second war had begun.
All that was left was the debris and remains, what used to be a proud fleet, 200 Destroyer Ships, 100 Defender Sbips, 500 Military Bases, and 1,000 assortments of frigates. The massive battle took place here, and only skeletons of the ships remained. Hundreds of thousands had died here.
#2 brought down the screen in front of him, he turned it on, and the blue glow went against the red glow.
"Got anything?" #1 asked.
"Negative," He replied.
#3 sat silently looking at his three screens.
"Nothing still...wait..." He said. "Yeah we have something... two lone Xan Motherships, hmm."
On the screen two little blips were seen, then a massive ping rang out.
"What was that?" #1 asked.
"Sir we got something incoming," #3 said. "Shit, its a abnormal gravitational pull on this asteroid feild!"
"Did the Motherships cause it?" #1 said powering up the ship.
"Negative sir! Something else off scanars!" #2 yelled.
3,000 miles to their left the asteroids began to fling into the feild, like a massive invisible wave of water pushing pebbles around, the asteroids crashed into one another, the whole wave kept getting closer to the scout ship.
"Get us outta here!" #3 yelled.
"I am trying!" #1 answered. "Get a message sent, warn them that something is up with the Xan!"
"Got that," #2 said cooly.
They sped through the belt, #2 typing away at a message, then he hit enter.
"I got it," He said looking from the screen, then all of a sudden a asteroid chunk smashed into the back of the ship, destroying it.
--Techon--
"Well sir," Barrin said as he paced back and forth in the throne room. "We lost the Pegasus Nebula, the Xan went into it, they are harvesting the gasses. We are holding out for the most part, but we still need more aid..."
"I already know that," Emperor John Hayyes said as he looked out the window.
John Hayyes the Emperor of Techon, about 6' with gray hair, and glasses. He always wore a tux, he took over the empire after Imitus VI was arrested for leaving the nation during a time of crisis, Imitus was judged poorly and was one of the best emperors Techon would have ever seen though. John was in charge now though.
A secretary came into the room. "Sir," She said.
John looked away from the window, a circular window that had a 12 foot diamter, right behind the desk, blast proof. It overlooked the city from the mountain that the Temple/castle rested on. The capital of Techon; Uzel, was an anceint Chinese architecture, but past it was the modern (future for us) style spaceport, which was at its normal busy pace.
"Yes?" He asked.
"We received a message from the scout ship ZZ-089, they sent it and we lost contact with them right afterward, here is the message.
Dear Mr. Hayyes
On our scout mission inside the system Xan we aquirred some interesting information, they have a device obviously that can create a gravitational pull, a big pull, or push. It was used on the asteroid feild we were in, and so I am typing this fast in case we don't make it out, we do not have any more information on this though, over and out.
"Hmm, I see," Hayyes said. "Well lets let time show us more about this then."
XAS-698 and its escort of twenty warships drop out of slipstream, practically on top of where scout ship ZZ-089 had been less than an hour before. Slowing to a liesurely pace of 10,000 kilometers per hour, the Eclipse class ship initiates a full long-range scan, looking for anything of intrest within the surrounding few sectors; a ship to contact, anything.

The Rim of Galactic Civilization, not really of interest to any of the more, civilized nations, but the Relandil were different, they were Species 8472B, and they were looking, looking for the gate, but they couldnt find it.
Behemoth Class Vessel, HC29
The Behemoth Class vessel drifted through the system, its engines powered down and its phase cloak operational, The normally lone Pilot was accompanied by no less than 2 other Relandil.
OOC: All my ships (including the biggest) are normally only piloted by 1 Reladnil, here is a link to a report compiled about my race. http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3217363#3217363
The Pilot, Mathikus, stood on his 3 legs, Standing 7 feet tall, operating the controls, glancing at this company, Atheris and Ashisa who stood in the same way, although slightly smaller, all of them were in natural light, and their skin shone a dim grey.
Telepathic messages made their way around the ship
Pilot Mathikus, What ever do you mean, Conflict? Ashisa Asked
Fire, and heavy, weapons are comparitevly weak in comparison to our own.. and we have Xan.. Mathikus replied
What side do we suppose we help? Atheris, interjected
The Good, for now i shall deal with it, communicate no more while i establish my link to the 2 Humans i have on my mind to contact, communications will not be required, and the enemies in this may be alerted to our presence Mathikus told his companions.
On the Xanthalian Flagship and The Techon Flagship, the Captains (or admirals) would feel as if someone had just looked into their head, but it was merely the link.
I Am Pilot Mathikus, of the Relandil Vessel HC29, We know not who you are, or care for your objectives, the weak known as Xan are here, the weak shall perish, we are currently phased on the outskirts of the system, our vessel is one of the Relandil Fleet, you may find information of us under Species 8472B, please, think your reply, and i will be able to understand you
OOC: Admiral Jumonji is a Xanthalian, not a Human. But whatever. You might not want to make your ships strong enough to whoop the Xan's asses though. After all, this is supposed to be an epic battle. I'm betting that if you start destroying Xan ships easily you'll be ignored.
IC: The Admiral's eyes widen, and he addresses the bridge crew. "I'm in contact with a telepath. Try to trace the neural signal and be aware in case my ability to command is compromised." That vital task done, he replies. "Mathikus, I don't like having my mind invaded. I'll let it pass this time though. We have no stance nor stake in the Xan conflict yet, and it is not my decision to make if we do later. I am on a mission to investigate. That is all. I don't know who you are, but you can stay away from my ship in the mean time."
[OOC: What Xanthal said is true, also I don't have a flag ship in the rim of the Xan system (that is where Xanthal is at because that is where what is left of the scout ship is]
Stuhok sat in his chair, the battle was still going on. He put his cigar in the ash tray, then stood up. He looked at General Roz.
"Bring as many men as you can," He said. "And as many ships, this whole galaxy should prepare for war, if I was in charge I would give the women, the eldrly, and the children guns for protection, the Xan are not ones to be understimated, they always have a secondary plan."

"Sir, Group Three has completed our scanning area, standing by for your orders."
"Form up on us Nine, we'll be going to the party too see what we can see."
"Lead, Three here, Base is coming through, I'll see if I can coax my treth into relaying it for you."
"Green Squadron, you new orders are to gather all the data about the battle that you can. This supercedes your orders of scanning the system, engage only if engaged. We'll be sending in a Unihalith to identify if there are friendlies in the battle. Acknowledge."
"Acknowledged, Base. This is Green Lead, we'll do as you say."
"Expect the Unihalith in half an hour. Base out."
"Sir, yes sir. Okay Group Two, you heard him. Form up and we'll go a-peeking."
"Yes sir."
The eight other ships formed up on the four already traveling dead straight at the fire fight.
[OOC: In case your confused, were the big lot of ships like Xanthal's and Relandil's are they aren't in the system with the fight, they are in hte Xan system, the fight is in the Tartok system]

The Daekeriusan Medical Ship Ramadatia, was on a mission of mercy, to the Daekeriusan member planet of Tenitus, when they were doing scans, near the Tartok system. They detected the mass of ships, and immediatly reported it to the Sector Governor.
Inside Governor Tibera Genasha, governor of the Tenitus sector of the Daekeriusan Republic.
The Governor had a very boring day indeed, she had meeting after meeting, commission, after commission. Then all of a sudden, she got a transmission sent from the Medical Ship. Excited, she immediatly opened, it and saw she finally had something to do now. She immediatly alerted High Command, and now it will go before the Daekeriusan Imperial Senate, for possible assistance against the Xan

OOC: Never encountered you before properly :P what do you expect ! Humanoids then .. and the ships thats "leading" then..
and.. i cant help being what i am.. but that doesnt stop me dying, as im sure the Xan will discover my weakness very quickly
Very Well, and i have not invaded your mind as you put it, i am merely establishing a link.. but if you want me to go deeper.. Im sure we could meet face to face instead, still, i am afraid we have no spoken language
The HC29 powered up and slowly began its course, deeper into the system, dropping its phase cloak and revealing the gigantic vessel it was.
OOC: No measurements helps the imagination! i dont mind if you put one on it, but remember its big
OOC: Techon, I'm sorry that I was unclear. I was leaving it up to you what our scan revealed since you know more about the system than I do. Are there any ships left? Any colonies? Anything at all of intrest in the Xan system? Also, how far from Xan is Tartok?
IC: The Xanthalian ships raise shields but stand their ground, continuing their long-range scan.
[OOC: Oh sorry, and the system Xan is on the very eastern arm of the galaxy, and Tartok is close to the northern tip, around the Thraka and Cark system, I made a map of the galaxy by the way, I know I have no life]
The scans picked up something indeed, the twenty planets that are in the Xan system were teeming with energy, tons upon tons of energy. Enough to run a entire holonet across the galaxy...this was the Xan, the massive tubes filled with capluses that are filled with Xan kra'tah (juvenlies). The tunnels spread for miles and miles below the surface of the third and fifth planet. The sixth seventh and eight planet were devoted entirely to factories and industries. The fourth planet is full of temples and such, were Xan rulers live.
The other planet's purposes have never been recorded.
On all scanners a beep rang, and it got larger, a gigantic fleet was heading their way.
[OOC: Here is the link to the place that has SOME info about the Xan

In Stuhok's quarters a voice rang from a speaker on the upper wall.
"Sir, we have a incoming ship," The voice said.
"Enemy or ally?" Stuhok asked.
"Not sure sir, we have never seen it," The tech said.
"Well keep it marked as neutral untill we are sure," Stuhok said. "If it attakcs us attack it back."
He looked at General Roz. "Make yourself at home, I am going to the bridge."
With that he walked out of the room closing the door behind him.
[OOC: By the way, if you want you can join the Xan's side]
The Admiral grins. "Now we're getting somewhere. Hail the lead ship in that fleet." The operations officer nods and does so.
"Sire," A tech said at a black control panel. "Someone attempts to hail us!"
"Fools, admitting to being here in our system, don't they know an entire armada could descend on them in minutes?" Tal'Beken said as he walked over to the tech. "Ask them what they want."
The tech looked at the board, and with his fingers moving as fast as lightning he established comunication with them. "This is the Taja'Relnon what is it that you require infidel, we will speak but be warned that if you try anything you will be destroyeed."
[OOC: By the way Xani is a longer version of Xan, the name Xani is found in the ancient archives of the planet Jerothias, which is rumored to have been a Xan planet millenia ago. I am using Xani cause Xan was already taken, but just remember that Xani means Xan, also by the way, this is Techon's puppet nation]
OOC: I'm assuming you have permission to play as the Xan, or are Techon...
IC: The Admiral holds the button to hold the communication while he laughs. "Friendly bunch, aren't they?" He takes a few seconds, then lifts his finger and resumes the transmission. "Don't worry, we're not here to fight... Yet. I've been sent by my government to assess the situation and determine a wise course of action regarding this war that's starting. Who are you? Why are you initiating a conflict? Is it possible to sign a peace agreement with you? I need answers if I am to give useful advice to my leaders."
[OOC: I am Techon]
"This is the second war we fought in, the first war we lost due to lack of support from our own territory," Talk'Beken said. "This is our land, it was promised to us by the lords. We are initiating conflit because we have to, the natives of this land have tried to keep us from acheiving what we were sent to do, we must therefore attack, it is our code. We will sign no peace treaty, the only peace we will have is you handing us the head of your leader, and us enslaving you race."
He let go of the button but then pressed it again. "We have heard much about your nation, it seems strong, we might, if possible, form an alliance with you, if you are willing to attack who used to be your allies."
OOC: Got it. That last post was crafted before you said who you were. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this. Xanthal has some seriously powerful dimensional-shifting technology, and everyone knows it. I'm sure that both sides will be extremely interested in either having use of it or destroying it. That's why I had to get involved here. The Aellis system will probably be a focal point of combat later in the war, whichever side we choose. Hell, we could even be the key to the whole war (as selfish as that sounds).
IC: The Admiral raises an eyebrow. Interesting... He speaks. "And if we were to ally with you... Then would we be allowed independent existence if you won the war?"
[OOC: Not to be a spoiler or anything but...I won't sya it]
"Yes you would be our ally and have your own sector of space," Tal'Beken said, and what he said was true, all who allied with them would be free to their own space afterward.
[OOCL Woops that post was supposed to be under Xani]
OOC: Heh. I'm ready for anything.
IC: "Noted. I need to confer with your opponents before I make a decision, then I'll report back to my government. You'll know our initial course of action within the week. Thank you for your time."

Just as Stuhok said, General Roz sat down as Admiral Stuhok left. This gave Roz some time to rethink what was going on. It made him become more emotional about the whole issue besides just going with the flow. He looked up and closed his eyes. "Why?" he just muttered. "Why do intelligences other than ourselves have to be this way? Why do they have to stoop to the stupidity of power-hungry men and just think of destruction and over ruling?" Roz then looked down at the floor. A tear rolled down his battle scarred face. General Roz had always been a tough person, he had always been intended as being as tough as he looked. Yet he never had time to really think. This time alone he had gave Roz a time to look back into the past and realize all the troubles that have fallen before him and humanity. On the inside, he had his soft spots, and this was his near only time of letting them seep from his pores of anguish. "The Xan, they think no different than a man. All intelligences think the same. They just want power, power, POWER!!!" Roz jumped from his seat and pulled out his lucky handgun. "I ain't givin' dem f*ckers a chance, this is the time of anihilation! The reign of the Xan is over, the reign of the Man will begin!"

The Behemoth moved closer into the Tartok system, The Pilot, Mathikus, Still maintaining his multi-lightyear link with the Xanthalian, although the Xanthalian didnt know it himself, his ploys were working, but the Xan had changed, they were not so weak this time.
The Xan are stronger, we know who we must help
Yes, The Xan.. other Humanoids are weak
The Weak Shall Perish
It seems i must forge another link with a Xan, no doubt they will know before i even try, silence whilst i do this
OOC: I'll let them detect and reply adequately
OOC: Still linking neurally? I'm going to need to know the limits of your abilities before I go any further with you.
IC: XAS-698 moves off at high velocity toward Techon's homeworld.

OOC: I provided a link at the beginning of this, if people decide not to read it its not my problem
OOC: I know that, but that link doesn't discuss the limits of your race's telepatic powers. I want to know what they are.
Tal'Beken sat in the comand chair, looking over the bridge, he saw the massive ship enter the system, scanners picked it up as something never seen by them before, so he had two aids look in the archives of the ship, the reports were from the Xan lords, how they picked up traces from something out of our dimension, they had picked up the trace, a hidden trace, millions of mellenia ago, they don't live in this dimension why would they come here?
He stood up and walked to the window, he looked out just in time to see another Destroyer go up in flames. He smirked, then something tingled in his mind he decided to do a mental scan....
Scan all forms of intruders on mental structure...
scanning...
one unidentified trace found searching for origin of trace...
trace origin not found...
Find out what the trace is...

OOC: Long range for communications, we only have Text and Telepathy, and no spoken language, for any in depth searching of mind/destruction, it has to be close..
I am Pilot Mathikus, of the Hive Cluster of Relandil and Haraenv, Organic Species, Known as Species 8472B, we come, for we must find the gate, and the people must feed, we offer, assistance, the weak shall perish, the hive shall feed
[OOC: You know what this whole forum is messed already and takes to much of my time so screw the puppet nation you should know I am talking for the Xan when I say 'Xan' as the character things]
Two in one day Tal'Beken thought to himself. This war may be more simple than we thought
Alright here is the deal, we are winning this fight and this system is ours, but on the fourth planet from the sun rests a terran planet named Orth, so we will send ground troops to that planet, the planet is full of humans civilians, easy targets for you to feed on meanwhile our soldiers will kill as many as possible also
Relandil And Haraenv
27-05-2004, 22:55
The Behemoth Class Vessel i am piloting, has capacity for 500,000 Humanoids, we will leave the planet with no less, and the Hive i am calling in to initiate a ground invasion has 60,000 Troops who must feed aswell, the rest of the weak are yours
Shortly after Mathikus communicated this, a rift opened a short distance from the Fourth planet, and a Hive, Swarming with fighter bombers, its drop vessels secreted within, began to drift into orbit.
My ship will now move on your location, we will target the Humanoids, the weak shall perish!
In the Destroyer Stuhok was commanding all the techs.
"Unknown craft is landing on the planet!" A tech yelled.
"We can't do anything here," Stuhok said, this was a dificult desicion. "We must pull back, if we stay that many more will die."
With that all Techon ships reluctantly pulled out.
Two days pass before XAS-698 and its escort approach the edge of Techon territory at high sublight speed with their weapons offline and their shields at standby. The Eclipse class vessel hails the nearest border outpost.
OOC: Where is Techon territory anyway? What are your planets and systems? I looked, but I couldn't find a factbook.
[OOC: Here are my systems, I am a rouge man I don't do factbooks lol, planet wise I haven't thought of that much though I know like how much but the whole name thing not yet;

"We read you Xanthal." A tech said at outpost #1, stationed on Ferfth in the Ghool system. "What assistance, or information do you need?"

OOC: my mind is fuzzy right now, could I get a synopsis of whats happening?
"This is Xanthalian Armada Starship six-nine-eight. I am Admiral Gihei Jumonji. I have been sent by the Xanthalian government to speak with a Techon government official regarding the Xan and the conflict in which your nation is engaged with them. Please provide clearance and instruction to a planet or facility where we may contact such an official."
[OOC: Cauthu Arn, there is a war with the Xan, Xanthal is going from side to side to get info on who to join, not much else, and Relandil and Haraenv are joining the Xan, also I am gonna be gone all weekend but I will be back monday]

OOC: thanks... any idea on when someone will react to my 12 ships approaching? I mean completely ignoring 12 unknowns in your system, especially during an invasion is just bad surveillance. ;)
OOC: Well, a little late to join but TAG
[OOC: Well Cauthu Arn my ships just retreated from the system, so most likely they won't be picking them up. Also Largent it isn't to late to join, people can join in anytime, also, I am a little tired of everyone just saying I am under attack by the Xan, to let you know its supposed to be the entire galaxy is under attack.]
OOC: Techon, I'm still waiting for a response to my last post.
[OOC: Sorry]
"Roger that," The tech said. "You are clear to send a shuttle down to docking bay #217 in our outpost, on the planet Ferfth."
The Xanthalian fleet acknowledges the order and proceeds to the edge of the system. The fleet comes to a halt just beyond the outer orbital and a small shuttle makes the journey the rest of the way to the outpost. After docking in bay #217, the Admiral disembarks alone and waits for some kind of instruction.
Admiral Walthour walked proudly down the hallway and greeted the Xanthalian Admiral with the Techon salute.
"Welcome," He greeted. "What brings you out this way Admiral?"
The Xanthalian admiral bows to indicate respect and greeting, then salutes as a formality. Relaxing, he speaks; looking quite impressive in his full uniform. "Business. Bad business, unfortunately. I've come to speak to you about the Xan. Is there somewhere we can talk in private?"
"We can meet in my quarters," Walthour said, a uncertain look on his face. "Follow me."
Gihei nods, looking grave, and follows his counterpart.
They arrive into the quarters a beuatiful room overlooking the forests that surround the base.
"Have a seat," Walthour said, walking over to a table he got some wine and poured it into two glasses. "Now, what about the Xan?" He asked hesitantly while handing the glass.
The Xanthalian takes the seat and the offered drink. Taking a sip he gathers his thoughts, then sets the glass down. "I'm going to be blunt Admiral, because I don't want to waste your time any more than I want to waste mine. The Xanthalian government wants to know what this war is all about, and my job is to find out the facts. When I return to report on my findings after I leave here, I will be asked which side I recommend that my government support. I've already spoken with your enemies, the Xan. They've offered us our lives and our sovereignty if we help them. However, while my personal feelings are that we should support you against them, they are a powerful foe. My government will want a guarantee. So I'm here to ask the obvious question: why should we help you and not the Xan?"
"Because," Walthour said walking to the window and looking out it. "They are ruthless, they think that everything should be theirs. The galaxy they originated in was completely dominated by them. According to our spies this galaxy was promised to them by their lords, and they came here as conquest on this holy war. They want all of the galaxy, they do not show mercy. I lost my entire family to them, my wife and my daughter. The Xan want all of us either dead or enslaved, thats their way of life. Now they might keep their promise and let you live, but they will force you to live their ways, and if you try to resist then they will destroy you."
He hit a button, and a holofeed came up showing feed from a soldiers helmet. The soldier appeared to be on his knees, as the camera turned with his head eleven other soldiers were seen on either side. Several Xan soldiers appraoched them, ten total, all of them had staves in their hands.
"We offered you your lives, in return you must give us slave labor," A lead Xan said.
"We will not work for the enemy!" A soldier yelled.
"That is unfortunate then," The Xan said smirking. "If you don't you die. You see that is our way of life, the whole universe should belong to us, but some unknown force prevented it millions of millions of centuries ago, and now the universe has to face you, and the other races... the scourge to this place. You are blocking us, the chosen ones, from reaching our goal, so we must destroy you, or take you down. Either way, this universe must belong to us in the end."
The ten Xan soldiers aimed the arrowhead shapes of their staves, and fired.
The feed ended.
"There you see," Walthour said, even though he didn't watch any of the footage, he knew what happened. "That is why you must fight against them."
"I was trained for war, Sir. I don't like it though. I know that my people feel the same way. When I'm standing before the Council and the Triumvirate they'll want to know why they should get involved. The Xan are on the far galactic edge, far from posing any immediate danger. Why should we try to interfere with them?"
"Because its their plan to make it look like they are not much of a threat, I am sure the U.W (United Worlds) are glad they are bringing order to the rim," Walthour said. "Its just a matter of time before they start to move in to the center, they will strike, advance, and conquer. They are winning along the war and we know that if we don't gather support against them, they will win when they charge, they are along the rim to surround us, to box us in, then all at once they will move in, and it will be hell when they do."
WESS IS THE KING
02-06-2004, 16:57
Back on Earth, Weslemagne, leader of many territories, called for the triple 0's."0001, do you know of this force on the rim," he nodded, "Can you do anything to help," said Weslemagne.
"You know my thing is not space, 0004 is your man, I know he is new, and a little bit of a hotshot, but he has talent," 0001 said.
"Then, 0004, can you do anything to help our race," asked Weslemagne.
"I'm your man cap. This is going to be fun," said 0004, a small, but enormously strong, handsome man of 20. He was fairly new to the elite group of triple 0's, Weslemagne's personal fighting force, but he had the potential to be the best. He could fly curvier, run faster, shoot straighter, and kick every other candidates @$$.(It is the ultimate honor to be part of the force, so there are always hundreds of candidates.)
So 0004 left earth for the battlefield, in a newly designed, single person fighter, The IV4, it had the strongest shields and weapons available to the Weslemagnian territories, but it had power problems, and needed maintenance on the engine constantly, so they also designed Pulcker, the deep space maintenance robot.
Mercenary Soldiers
02-06-2004, 17:47
Gunfire was now a constant sound, individual bursts indistinguishable from the chatter of heavy machineguns. Screams of death & shouts of orders mingled with the explosions of grenades & flashes of energy weapons. Men in desert-pattern BDU's fought with strange men in green bodysuits, who fired lasers from staff-like weapons.
The fighting was fierce, sometimes it came down to hand-to-hand. General Garand stood out front of his command center, behind a sandbag barricade. A WWII-era steel helmet sat on his head, covering his steel-gray hair. The helmet clashed with his current uniform, the RDMA standard issue for soldiers & officers alike. It consisted of a set of BDU's, the pattern varied depending on the environment, along with a kevlar vest with ceramic shockplates in key areas like the chest, thighs, and groin. The General fired his Mk 23 madly, the troops beside him joining with their G36K assault rifles.
Laserfire killed a man to his left, melting a hole through his chest. Garand snapped off a pair of shots as he ducked, both missing the attacker by inches...
"Where the f**k are they coming from?!"
Garand shouted, over the constant gunfire & grenade detonations...
"Don't know, sir... I've got Major Bray on the horn, says he's pinned down... Argh!"
A laserbeam clipped the radio operator on the side of his kevlar helmet, melting the ballistic material. He was somewhat rattled, but unharmed...
"He's pinned down out on the CQB course, says he's got Miller & Torres with him... The rest of the SpecOps unit is either out on assignment or trapped somewhere else..."
Garand sat down with his back against the sandbags, slapping a fresh clip into his .45... If Dekker was on the CQB course, there was no stopping him...
RDMA CQB Course, Valley of Pain, Badlands...
Dekker Bray peeked slowly around another corner, swiftly pulling his head back as he spotted another hostile... He gave the handsignal for 'one tango', then leaned around the corner, leveling his M4 carbine & snapping off a pair of semi-auto shots. The 5.56x45mm rounds shattered the skull of the hostile, the body falling limply to the floor as a bluish mist leaked out into the air. As a precautionary measure, Dekker snapped another pair of shots into the chest area to make sure it was dead...
"What the hell is this, ese?"
Inquired Greg Torres, the SpecOps chopper pilot & quartermaster, as he held up a staff-like object. In his other hand, he held an MP5A4...
"Don't know, man... Looks like some kinda voodoo staff..."
The bass baritone voice of Tyrone Miller chimed in, as the massively-built man hefted an M249 onto his shoulder...
"I don't give a f**k what it is... Let's get back to the HQ, Garand's gonna need help with the rest of these f**kers...[/i]
Dekker said as he took a quick peek outside the CQB facility, making sure they'd killed all of the invaders in the area. He gave the 'all-clear' hand signal, and the trio sprinted for the modified Blackhawk helicopter parked nearby. Miller took control of the 7.62x51mm Vulcan on the loading bay door, while Torres slid into the pilot seat. Dekker crouched beside Miller, keeping his M4 handy for precision fire.
A long ten minutes later, they touched down on top of the HQ, Dekker jumping out to assist in the defense of the building while Miller & Torres went off to provide air support...
"There you are... Have fun with the live target exercise?"
The General asked, taking a swig from his battered bourbon flask...
"Sure did, sir. Beats the hell outta paper men..."
Garand waved over Quincy, his radio operator...
"Get on the horn & get a dispatch out to our allies, see if they need any help..."
Quincy nodded, then began to key in the message... Dekker, Garand, and Roper, Garand's remaining guard, resumed firing...
Communications Base Alpha
For being Alpha communications base it wasn't that big, just a half mile by half mile big compound. With a twenty man/woman crew.
In the relaxation area Garn Teldor rested in a seat, a drink in hand, he hadn't drinken any of it, but he still held it.
Five others were in the room, the lead of the group a young beautiful human female named Helvia Arntook, she had blonde hair that went past her shoulders and stood at 5'9" tall, to the humans she was very beautiful.
Another person that Garn knew the name of was Cener Barith. A mid twenties human male, with black hair, he was the lead engineer, when something would go wrong with the communication towers he would be sent to work on it.
The others Garn didn't know the names of, not that it would matter. His plan was working and this base would belong to him soon, just a matter of hours. His first move needed to be made, he stood up.
"I am going to go and work on the generator for tower #3 its been short circuting lately and needs some repairs." He said.
"Ok," Cener said. "Need any help?"
"No," Garn said looking around. "I think I can handle it myself." He smirked stupidly trying to imitate a human showing off.
"Ok," Cener and Helvia said at the same time.
He walked out of the room, and made way down the stairs. Stupid humans they could fall for anything, here he was a spy, an infiltrator and they didn't realize it. They thought he was Garn Teldor, a human male of 29, 6'4" tall. In reality he was Sh'cri, a Xan spy. He was sent to this base to take out the communications.
He opened the door to the lower levels of the base, even though the base was'nt that big the lower levels extended far down, and communication towers spread for miles away from the base.
He unlocked another door and it slid open and he walked through it. The room was dark so he turned on the power, he walked to the power box, and looked in it.
He pulled out a pair of big wire cutters, and brought them into the box. He put them around the two red wires, and snapped down, the red wires cut loose. No more communication could be sent off planet now.
He walked out of the room quietly, and made way outside the base, he walked to the wall that surrounded the compound, the base was on a jungle planet that had many odd creatures on it, the wall was built when a beast attacked some of the people in the base, no more problems had happened since.
He walked outside the wall, and made way for tower #6, he walked along the path and after a little bit made to it. He looked at it, one wire ran from below ground and into the tower.
He would make his second move
Gihei takes another drink from his glass. "You make a compelling case Admiral. The Xant certainly sound like dangerous beings. The last war Xanthal participated in against such a foe was the Demon war though, and by the time it was over the entire nation was crippled. I do not think my government wants that to happen again."
"What side do you think your government will go with?" Walthour asked, turning his head towards Gihei.
"I'm fairly sure they won't assist the Xan, but I don't think I'll be able to convince them to put our forces into action either. My honest guess is that they will opt to assist you economically and with supplies."

OOC: howdy all im just going to jump into this thread with a splash so here goes!
IC: The tactical display graphically represented everything for up A light-year away, of course it was often used at a smaller variable in this case only a light minute. A trio of arrows representing capital ships was moving lazily across the display, there was a couple dozen smaller icons represented fighter class ships in a screen of sorts around their mother ships.
"Just where Techon Intel said they would be sir" Commented the captain of the ship through the intercom.
"So I see Mark, And so this engagement shall begin...All ships this is Admiral Grosenburg execute plan Alpha One."
----
With the attack ordered the WIckian ships waited for their enemy to close to a mere 3 million Km then they activated their wedges and went to full combat readiness, most importantly they flushed their missile pods. From the dozen pod equipped vessels 2400 Anti-Ship Missiles were launched, the broadsides of the ships added 600 missiles, for a total of 3000 missile which would cover the distance between the two fleets in thirty five seconds.
At 20.000 Km the missiles detonated stabbing the enemy ships with their deadly x-ray radiation. The Xan were overwhelmed, their ships becoming so much dust by the sheer firepower.
With their mission complete the fleet entered hyperspace to the coordinates the Techon navy gave them for a rendezvous’.

[OOC: Hey guys, just to let you know I am having a little trouble, the forums run like shit I know but I can't get on NS for the time being, give me time, I will not let this thread die. Also, the Xan are never overwelmed, they always have the advantage]
From Techon
"Sir! We are receiving intel about several missiles detonating inside a Xan fleet, the fleet was wiped out!" A tech exclaimed.
"Thank God," Stuhok said from his control seat.
"The fleet that fired the missiles are coming to rendevous with us right away, they are from T.W!" The tech said.
"I will wait till they arrive, and we shall discuss this victory," Stuhok said proudly. "We need as many allies as possible in this galactic war."
(OOC: I declare this thread alive once again!)
The Xanthalian fleet leaves back to Aellis. The Xanthalian government eventually decides to remain neutral in the conflict and keep out of dealings with the Xan in the future.
OOC: Sorry I have to leave the thread, but I'm pouring all of my energy into ending Xanthal now. Good luck.
(OOC: No problem, I understand)
