Requei Romania - Biological Agent

We have created a strain of organic material that can literally kill in four days. It is delivered via air dispersal. If the substance comes in contact with water, it will also contaminate the water.

CONTACT CAUSING INFECTION:

Skin Contact Between Infected and Non-Infected

SYMPTOMS:

Day 1 - Wheezing and coughing, some may develop fever
Day 2 - Rash around nasal and mouth area
Day 3 - Rash spreads rapidly
Day 3- Paralysis in rash areas and sudden expiration

Impressive, what’s its communicability and survivability?

The communicability is pretty good, considering if you shake hands with an infected person or drink water with the strain in it (reproduces best in water), you get it. It also looks like a normal flu when you first get it. I'd say about 65% communicability.

Survivability isn't as good, only a few drugs can treat it. And it can just go into remission. Survivability is about 5%-10%.

One more question, if I may?

If it’s frozen, does it die, or can it survive on ice (Yes, some do die under extreme cold)

so, its water born and bodily contact/blood fluid born

OOC: virus or bacteria based?

Interesting, but sounds a bit primitive..in the infectious area. Could you please explain if it is a viral or bacterial? Is it within the VHF family such as EHEbola? Bloodborne, airborne? Does is cause renal syndrome? How does a surface rash cause death?

OOC: Viral. No, we have created this one from scratch. No... renal syndrome. The paralysis eventually spreads into the diaphragm and/or brain, or heart and shuts down those areas.
