Where to put this post. I just wanted to have a introduction for my self on the forums and get to know other nations and get some advice and guidance on how to get started being envolved.

Well, welcome to Nationstates. You'll find there's no real right or wrong way to play the game; there's stickies here and in the International Incidents forum providing gameplay guidence, but really it's up to you what you want to do with your nation, what the people are like, what the culture and what [if any] technology and military you have, although it's generally agreed that you should play with reference to your nation's stats.

Remember this is consent-based roleplay, so nobody can do anything to your nation unless you agree and vice versa.

Try to avoid being involved in war threads too soon, it's better to go for more diplomatic threads earlier on and build up your reputation. Threads noting that they're closed or invite-only are just that.
