Why won't anyone buy from me?

Nobody is buying anything from my storefront. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=121921) Why not? Are my prices too high? Is it because I don't have a good enough selection? Is it because my pics are off-site? Is it because my name's not cool enough?

(OOC) Just a few thoughts. Your prices look fine. Maybe try more stuff. A lot of others sell the same stuff. Perhaps you can find something others don't provide. Custom designs may help sales as well.

Hmm. What kind of things should I add? New tank designs?

Perhaps some ADA systems other than the high dollar and high tech missiles, such as the Gepard or SPU-23-4
or, hovercraft landing craft such as the USN and Marines use, or smaller versions that could be the equivelent of an AIFV, or, smaller 2-3 man scout vehicles, both wheeled and tracked such as the German Luchs or British scimitar. Other tanks you could offer would be the German Leopard II or French LeClerc. Even transport vehicles would be great sellers, as without supplies, ammo, and food, all the tanks and apc's in the world are utterly useless.
Don't worry I had the same problem. But those He-Mans and She-Ras were being sold faster than I could imagine.

(OOC) Well, I guess I could try to explain why I bought from some people. All of these examples are from storefronts where I've spent quite a bit of money from.
ex 1) North Germania (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=91119): Pluses include equipment for land, sea, and air; lots of selection; not many nations sell German stuff. If you look at the infantry weapons section there are several pistols, several assault rifles, several machine guns. My armed forces use Minimi Machine Guns, my Militia use H&K G33s, my MAF (marines) use H&K G36s. He has several tanks which most storefronts do not have. He is the only one with the Leopard 3 as well as the ships from the German Navy. It's easier to buy a lot of stuff from one place then making several buys from several small shops.
ex 2) CSJMI (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=75689): Pluses include massive selection, equipment for all forces, package deals, RL and custom designs. This is probably the biggest arms dealer on NS, and I've blown my entire yearly military procurement budget several times on CSJMI. Note a lot of his stuff is what you don't see in other shops like, engeneering equipment, transports, aircraft, ect.
ex 3) Doujinshi Corporation (http://www.geocities.com/doujincorp/index.html) and Freethinker Defense Industries (http://www.freewebs.com/freethinker1984/): There are a lot of big bruisers on NS, these are some great custom designed stuff to fight in the NS world.
Making your own stuff, I think, would help. CSJ, Doujin, and Freethinkers (in the examples I provided) really know what they are talking about. If you are not too sure about a custom design you make, make an ooc post in II with the design details, price, etc. and ask if people think it is realistic. People are pretty helpful in getting your design hammered out.

I gave up on Storefronts- they all sell the same stuff anyway, and since my economy is now Frightening, I figured I can just make whatever I want and save all the hassle.
Roycelandia has our own storefront, but since the demand for Lee-Enfield Rifles, Bren Guns, and Spitfires doesn't seem to extend outside our own borders I don't update it anymore...
Larger nations all can ICLy produce their own stuff. The R.L stuff your're selling is commonplace.

Um, perhaps you should try making your own products? If there's one thing NS isn't short of it's people flogging real-life weapons.

OK, I added a new type of tank that I think is viable. I'll work on more designs, to be added gradually.
