In a startling move today, the government of Kajal Mars declared that it would be formally withdrawing all troops from most of it's southern territory, and making the land available on the open market. It is the government's intent to make the land available to nations that have wished to establish a martian colony for quite some time, without having to deal with the bureaucracy that is ever present.

There are three primary territories for sale, as of this moment, and they are portions of the Cimmeria, Gorgoroth, and Sirenum provinces. A fourth province was incorporated into the Duchy today, Cimerrium province, which contains within it's borders the military center, Aesirgronde.

Rumor has it that Kajal Mars has already found a buyer for the Gorgoroth province, but any deal that could be in the works right now would be very tentative, while the other two provinces are being offered on the market for no less then a trillion credits each.

At this time, all three are open to offers. Preference will be given to non-martian nations that have been seeking to establish colonies for extended periods of time.

"On further consideration of this generous offer on the part of the Kajali, and in light of developments of our own, His Majesty's government would like to make an offer for the eastern most territory displayed on the map, i.e that bordering the GDT and Syskeyian territories.
We feel that our restrained presence in international relations and our neutral stance in matters between the various power blocs would recommend us as a more...secure neighbour perhaps than some parties who may express interest.
Certainly we would suggest that allowing any one nation to claim all three sections would invite thoughts of swallowing the fourth, hardly a stance any nation would which to encourage.
As review of the standard dossier presumably available to you, we can both realistically afford and maintain a presence on Martian soil.

Leda Colony has expressed an interest in gaining some territory on Mars for a while now, primarily as civilian living space, and is willing to offer a very generous amount of money for the two largest provinces (OOC: No specification, as I don't know which two are the biggest).
The Great Ineffable Bob has personally authorised the pledging of the equivalent of ten trillion credits for the provinces. Each.

"While I recognize the clause about preffering non-Martian nations, I am, as always, eager for more non-oceanic territory. The easternmost of your marked territory would suit Bajoni needs well, as it borders current Bajoni territory. While the ocean between Olympus and NRRB is not negotiable at this time, I am offering the lands of former Severnaia for sale, as well as the former Neo-Space colony. Perhaps these lands could be ceded over in a mutually beneficial 'trade' of sorts.

Alexey leaned back in the big chair. They'd have to bring in their respective leaders, of course, go through all the political motions for show, but the real work was about to begin. He spread his arms, yawned, and took a nap on the spot as he finishes sending a communication to the Kajal.

Rights to the lands have been transferred, as follows:
