we have a diverse group of christians of various doctrines the christian faith makes up our majority although a the second place would be going towards agnostics and atheists we also have small groups of various other religions but keep a close eye on cults and keep them under control. OUr government is neither influenced by any particular faith we base all action on utmost freedom!
Skeelzania
15-05-2004, 04:55
The Principality of Skeelzania runs occasional purges against just about every religion, largely as a way to test new military technologies. Not surprsingly, the goverment is avowedly Atheist.

However, it is worth mentioning Spootology. For some reason or another, the Royal Family has declined to persecute this religious sect, probably because the sect itself is A) homegrown and B) its dogma is basically Skeelzanian goverment doctrine with a divine spin on it.
Knootoss

A Few Rich People
15-05-2004, 17:54
The only real "religion" is the mythos that hath sprung up in the lower levels of society hailing the Corperation as "Divine" and what not. Ironically, we have taken to use that system for loyalty in our millitary troops. Beyond that there is no religion here.
Callisdrun
15-05-2004, 18:15
The religion in the majority in Callisdrun is by far the old pagan religion, similar to Norse beliefs. About 67% of the population are pagans, I believe. The missionaries had a hard time getting to Callisdrun, and once here, they found that most people were not very inclined to listen to them.
The pagan religion, in its current state, is very relaxed on many things that many sects of christianity are strict about, such as morals in relation to the human body. The religion stresses honor, loyalty, and thought above just about everything else.
Aelov
15-05-2004, 18:27
The religion of our country is Aelovianism. We bielieve that the Grand Chancellor the corporations elect is a god or at least an embodiment of one.
Stone River

Resistencia
15-05-2004, 20:27
The largest religion in my country is Roman Catholicism. However, there is a very distinct and heavily enforced division between church and state. All religions are welcome in my nation and all people are free to worship as they please. Additionally, even though catholics are the religious majority, we are on icy terms with the Vatican.
Kevin Tracy the Great
15-05-2004, 21:14
The Holy Empire of Kevin Tracy the Great got it's title by reuniting the Roman Catholic Church with the many sects of Orthodoxy. Together, the Orthodox Catholic Church makes up 78% of our total population.

Protestants come in a distant second with 10%
Judaism makes up 5%
The remaining 7% is made up of many religions including Islam, Hindu, Sikism, and many others.

Athiests may reside in my country, but being a nation of faith, they often find it uncomfortable, and we understand that here and let them come and go as they please.

Falastur
20-05-2004, 08:48
Just about every major religion (exception of those where people worship their national leader, because they are all in those countries....) is represented in Falastur. However, over 1/2 of the population are Protestants, and over 1/5 are Roman Catholic, so Christianity is much better represented than any other religion here.

There are a few Falasturian-based religions and religious groups, such as the Falasturian Ecclesiastical Church and the Far-tellers, but they are in the minority, and not that widely represented in other countries.
20-05-2004, 09:02

Most citizens of ArMinasiria follow the One True Faith: Catholicism; but all forms of Christianism are allowed.
Tsaraine
20-05-2004, 11:16
Officially, it's only legal to practice religion in Tsaraine if it's been approved by Division Five (the government) as non-subversive. As such, personality cults (Sirithilism et cetera) are Not Allowed (there's a small one for the Arkhora, which is tolerated but not encouraged).

Religions with a single figurehead are also Not Allowed; Div5 is paranoid and doesn't want some foreigner telling Tsarainese what to do. The exception to this is the Orthodox Faithful of Ruki Aestrakhor, as the Arkhaeron is based in Tsaraine.

However, the majority of people are atheist or agnostic, with the largest single religion being the Orthodox Faithful of Ruki Aestrakhor. Minorities include, but are not limited to;

- The True Faithful of Ruki Aestrakhor
- The Sche'dayach Wandering
- The Kymnari
- The Cult of Omniscient Fate
and
- Tsarainese Christianity (OOCly I have yet to decide anything about this religion).

Greater Perolijk
20-05-2004, 15:53
There are only a few legal religions in Greater Perolijk, mostly those that are not deemed harmful to free thought and lack a single figurehead. The religions of greater Perolijk can be divided in four groups:

1) Atheists and agnostics:

The majority of our population are Atheists or so mad that their beliefs are incomprehensible (some 74%)

2) The legal and accepted religions:

Roughly 16% follow an old religion called "nestenåsatru" it is very simular to the pagan religion in Callisdrun (norse gods, relaxed morals relating to the human body, stressing loyality ect...)

6% Are worshippers of the anicent religions of our two dominant ethnic minorities: both these religions are polytheistic and stress isolationism.

1% of the population allso worship the works of the great Dan Shive (though it is illegal to worship Dan himself)

There is allso a small Zen Buddhist minory with just under 10 000 followers (their legality is questioned among the more conservative political factions, Tibetian buddhism is outlawed)

3) Officialy Illegal religions that are ignored:

This group is composed of small strange religions and cults whose followers are all madmen, but are not hostile and noone takes them seriously anyway. They are regarded as harmless, but are carefully monitored by the government and ignored by everybody else.
The among the largest of these are: The Cult of the floating shrub (aka the shrubberites), Clan of muffins, The Society Of the Great Red Albino Whale and The Stonecutters.

4) Illegal and prosecuted religions:

Most religions are illegal to practise and to preach. Most of the followers of these are already rounded up and waiting to serve as entertainment in our collosseums, kept around for various military applications like target practise, used as test subjects or sold to the pagans and our ethnic minorities as sacrifises for their regular "Blotings" (religious feasts with sacrifices and obcene amounts of alcohol) The majority of these people are followers of the three great monotheistic religions, football (soccer) fans and nazis cultists.
