Sapphire's eyes glowed, almost brighter than the moon that cast light over the serene land. Her thin fingers cut through the pond, breaking the glass surface and sending ripples along the way. She called out to the earth. Her voice sad and powerful. The song being an ancient one of tradegy and loss. A few creatures in the dark forest rustled around and the birds took flight.

The wind came and picked up her hair and the people around her still stood still. She glanced at each one again. She briefly stopped at the one named Josh. She smiled softly and then she looked up to the sky. The water surrounding her splashed about her body and some drops covered her face. Her pale face looked much paler in the night and almost matched her white gown. She walked out onto the ground. Her feet sinking slightly into the soft mud.

She spoke once more, "So, you really believe I am the siren of the pond. Well, then kill me and then I won't be here anymore. I will not haunt this water anymore." A smile crept on her face, daring them to try to attack her. She tested them and now she would wait.

OOC: Somehow, my last Immortal Pond got lost somewhere. Where it is I do not know. This is a continuation of that and Immortal, but if anyone wants to join. They are definitely welcome to. If you have questions just ask me and I can clue you in. Hopefully, everyone who was in the last one can find this one.

Josh couldn't believe what he heard... kill her? He looked around at all the other people gathered which all seemed to wait for something, as she was waiting for something. This seemed like a conflict he had stumbled upon without knowledge or purpose.
Sure, most of the others looked like they were warriors of some kind, but would they attack her? He only knew that he couldn't have done it, how could anyone attack a beauty like her?

That was when he realized that his task would even be harder than he had thought.
"Kiss her and come back to me. Only when you come back to me after kissing the siren of the pond, do you prove that you really love me." That was what she had said and for her he would have done anything.
But now he had apparently a violent conflict before him and till now he didn't understand either side or objective, except that she seemed to be the siren and some of the others would kill her for being that. But can a siren be killed? He had so many questions and so few experiences in preternatural things.

For the moment he hold his breath, anxious how the others would react to this thread, but he knew he would not endure a silence too long, for that he was too young and the situation too tense.

Sapphire looked at the one mortal he did not know here. She looked him up and down, knowning he was no harm to her. She looked around her, wondering why they were all silent, what were they planning. Her gaze turned back to the mortal. He is nervous and she could smell his fear. She walked up to him and pulled him along with her to the water's edge. She dropped his arm and walked into the pond and turned to face him. Her eyes flashed once more.
