can some 1 give me some pointers on how to become a good nation :lol:

That all depends on what you mean by "a good nation".
If you mean a good player, then read the stickies, abide by the few general over-arching rules (basically don*t godmod or try to hard to "win"), get a feel for the place, and play to what style suits you.
If you mean a country of a certain type you consider to be good, then answer your issues and RP accordingly.
In either case read the stickies.
