I know, your all going to hate me for this. But what I don't get is why it is such a big deal. Did GWBush actually think he could wlatz into Iraq? he delcared war on the mfor crying out loud!! If someone declared war on my country I'd fight tooth and nail and kill any civilian from a foreign nation that occupied my country. The men who executed the American were showing patriotism to their own country. The US gov't is also complaining about how Iraq is going against the rules of war. RULES! IN WAR! war is chaos, not a bunch of rules on how to fight "nicely". If I was fighting for my life I would fight as dirty as possible, even if that meant taking prisoners and executing them.

My 2 cents.

Wow, Saige... you're quite the diplomat.

Although I do agree with you about patriotism and fighting for one's country. I do think that the US needs to back off. I think they made their point, and the reprocutions of said point will be far reaching. Although I disagree with making Bush out to be some kind of omnipotent leader that gets to do whatever he wants. Do you really think he's smart enough for that? Come now... we've all seen interviews and speeches from him. He's a little man in a big suit.. and it's kickin' his ass. More than one mind thought up this bullshit 'war,' and quite believeably they weren't all Americans. The worst part where the US is concerned is that the guy that's about to take Bushie Boy's place in November is worse. Buckle your seatbelts boys.. we're headed on a ride that may end in one giant nuclear explosion.

It truly is a horrible incedent. I was saddened to see such a think. However, we all knew such a thing was coming. When you torutre people as we did the backlash that happened should be expected. This is why I support a public execution of the torturers of the iraqi's not only to save america's image, but to also punish them. For they DIRECTLY killed that citizen.
