For the past twenty years, the area of Agadishu, which is seated in formerly southern Somalia, has been in great strife and war. Rebels had long attempted to overthrow the oppressive regime that the Somalian warlords imposed, and in 2021, they had finally won the long and costly fight. Nearly three million had died, cutting down the area's population to five million. Now, in 2025, the government has finally gained full control and stability, and has passed the Constitution of Agadishu.
The government is very protective and authoritarian, but is trying to restore the lives of the people to some amount of normalcy. The poor state of the economy and still unsettled tensions has created conditions for a powder keg, which the Agadishan government has contained up to this point.
The President, Aarosi Mubabba, was born in a small village of Agadishu in 1985. When he was 20, he had moved to Europe for college, and finished his education there. In 2010, he graduated from Oxford with a degree in Economics. When he finally saw what was happening in his homeland, he quickly entered the British Army, signed a contract to join for 4 years, and learned much about combat, and was highly trained compared to other Agadishans.
In 2015, Aarosi finally moved back to Agadishu. He quickly became popular, and soon controlled rebel forces trying to repel Somalian warlords. He implemented tactics he had learned in Britian, and soon became the most skilled general in the land. He fell back to a secluded position, and called all rebel forces to the location in 2019. He finally gave an order for their location to be tipped off, and the Somalian forces and Agadishan rebels met at the Battle of Wabbagu, in which Mubabba crushed the Somalian forces. By 2021, Somalian forces had been completely repelled out of Agadishu, and a DMZ was established. Somalia is a miniscule threat now, and Aarosi focused on building the government and establishing a constitution.

Present-Day
The city was dusty on the hot summer day. The desert sky was hazy and brown, and the city of Awagu was suffering from intense heat. Much of the city was still a slum, with the most basic services only available to a quarter of the city. However, now that stability has been achieved, President Aarosi (it is customary in Agadishu to call the leader by his or her first name) was planning a massive project to kick the economy into action. The poor state of the economy, according to his plan, would improve greatly within the next few years.
Standing on the balcony of the Presidential Palace, he began his speech. "Hello, to all those of Agadishu! To those listening to my voice across the nation, be worried no more! I am here to bring solutions to our plagued nation. For the past four years, I, along with a panel, have been struggling to bring stability to this nation. As you know, a Constitution was signed just weeks ago, and now our country shall have the privilege of beginning the amazing journey through international politics and trade.
"Our economy is simply pathetic. We must work very, very hard to help the common man rise up to power. We must produce more food, and create a surplus. We must take advantage of rich natural resources, and sell raw materials to more industrialized nations. According to my plan, Agadishu shall move from a simple agricultural economy to one of great factories and a producer of finished goods. When that mission has begun, we must move to another.
"The people of Agadishu are plagued by the lack of basic human services. I am dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Agadishans. Running water will become a very real fact of life soon, as will proper sewage. You will all receive free education through high school, and possibly when our economy grows stronger, college.
"I leave you today with a very optimistic view on our future. To my fellow Agadishan people, we will rise to power. Everything will eventually become normal and good. I leave you with a message of hope and peace. Be strong, for good times are near."

The military of Agadishu is primarily technicals and M-16 wielding men. A small number of M1A2 Abrams is evident, as well as about 10 F-14 Tomcats. There is only one naval asset, being the Mark V Special Operations Craft, but is more often used for coast guard patrol. President Aarosi has secretly embarked on a plan to greatly improve the military of Agadishu. Needless to say, our nation has many hurtles to overcome and many goals to achieve.
