Crimmond sends a warning to A Corp.

Crimmond

Administrator Delta sits in the leather chair used by all leaders of Crimmond, behind the desk used by all of them. "I have been alerted to plans for an attack on the APTO by the region of A Corp. I must admit that we didn't even have to decode anything. They spoke of it over open lines, where anyone could hear."

He stands and steps around the desk. "I will say this only once. Stand down or I order the systematic destruction of your region from orbit. I am also quite sure the rest of the APTO would assist, to a point. They are not mass-murderers. I am though. Stand down or die."

We stand by Crimmond and the APTO. Your arrogance will be dealt with by force if necessary. We are not a group to be trifled with.

Markov and G-corp did such an act, and within hours their mighty fleets were so much dust and space junk. Within days port sectors were vaporized by missile strikes, and their navies nothing. And now troops storm their beaches as bombs fall on their men.

And now you have decided to come against us. The APTO has repelled many with more power than you. And we will have no qualms using force, should it come to that.

Though Pantera is in a state of civil strife, many Fists of Reavers remain aloof from the internal struggles. These Reavers and their fleets will be placed under the control of the Allied Commanders.

Though the Lord Reaver will not comment at the moment, rest assured that should the Allied Powers come under attack, that Pantera will set aside its own squabbles for the moment, at least long enough to rain death and flame upon our enemies.

I'm in The Kingdom of the Midlands. I was the one who received the threatening telegram from the A Corp and released it on my regional message boards (which was read by APTO Embassy 2 and the whole news was spread, news investigated and publicly confirmed by the A Corp's own regional message board). I think that the A Corp made their mistake. I will proudly help destroy them.

P.S. I may just fire my own weapons from space wiping the A Corp off the map. If there is to be an orbital bombardment, all allied nations should plan it so they attack all at once for maximum damage.

[EDIT: Us from The Kingdom of the Midlands (region) are old enemies of the A Corp and have defeated them before. I'm sure they'll be easy to wipe out again.]

"Threats, thats all they offer?" Griffin sighed. "Why the hell even have a military if you aren't going to use it, and just threaten. What a group of," he paused and made sure the small tape recorder wasn't recording, "bitches. Pansys." He waved to a man standing by the door. "Do it. Destroy the cities, destroy all life, salt the earth, and what not."

The man nodded and left the room.

Within an hour, the following message was released to A Corp:

[code:1:b3dd33e3bd]Game over man. Game over.[/code:1:b3dd33e3bd]

Within seconds of confirmation that the message had been recieved, the 8th Arsenal Fleet appeared in the skies over A Corp, making sure to use mass sensors and the like to keep from bumping into anyone. The 8th consisted of 30 Ormsby class arsenal ships, each designed for ultimate space combat, and armed for assault with 50 mass drivers. Each fired a 50foot long, 10 foot wide, DU(Non radioactive) cylinder which, on impact, was moving at near Mach75. The impact force made that of the most powerfull nuclear and plasmayeild weapons look like a small 100pound bomb.

With autoloaders and somputer controlled targeting systems, it took less than three minutes to launch the first volley of 1,500 cylinders. It would be only five minutes before the next volley could be launched at both military and civilian, strategic and non strategic, targets within the A Corp region. They wnated to see terrorism, they would see terror. Every five minutes, another 1,500 cylinders were launched off.

God love having an entire solar system to exploit resources.

The Empires 5th Fleet, Commanded by Lord Tal'had, gracefully slid in around, behind, and above the Imitorian vessels holding orbit above A Corp. The 5th Fleets consisting of 10 AP Dreadnaughts, 5 Roland Class DDG's, 3 McArthur Battle Carriers, 15 Sambizie Flt.II DE's, and 5 Psygonosis Class Frigets.

As the DDG's approach ortillery range, the massive doors slowly opened on each of the 16 cannon bays. Within minutes, the weapons were charged and the Sambizie were ready to rock and reinforce the Imitorian vessels. With a wave of his hand, Lord Tal'had signaled the Destroyers to begin ortillery bombardment of the surface. Each cannon capable of firing 3 shots per sec. with a 1 minute interval. In total, 80 cannons will bombard the surface every minute until power supplies reach a moderate risk,(approx. 18 hours). The 3rd Invasion Fleets as well as the 18th Assult Fleets will be in orbit within 24 hours. The combined fleets will consist of 62+ Warships as well as EW, Recon, and support craft.

The 16th Hammerhead Squadron, (Flying Bees) have been scrambled from Mwatsana AFB and will begin Transatmospheric bombing of soft and hard targets throughout A Corp. Lord Tal'had had no comments at the present time...

Delta scowled. "While I've been here waiting, our allies have made the first move. Deploy the JOC's."

From a starock surrounded by part of a fleet, eight long ships break moorings and move off. A few minutes later, three light criusers also leave, as escorts for the smaller, vunerable ships.

They are the Javelin Class Ortillery Craft (http://home.earthlink.net/~alpha_zero_usm/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/javelin.jpg). Each is capable of broadsides powerful enough to cut a submarine at a depth of 800 feet in two. They are flying weapons platforms, designed only for ortilley strikes. A scan would show no armor... presumably why there is an escort.

Clark Observitory, Nanakan Highlands [Modern Tech]
The signal was given. The President himself had called. Excited, the people at the "observitory" charged the Judgement Laser. They keyed in the coordinates of several key targets in the A Corp region on their computer and the laser was launched into space. Finally, the Judgement Laser was put into action.

Meanwhile, above the earth, the Judgement Laser had reached the Judgement Satellites. They adjusted to point in the direction of the A Corp. Dozens of missiles, mostly neuclear, were then prepared to be fired onto the region at the push of a button. Judgement would come upon the A Corp....

The United Grand Celestial Glory, Above the Moon [Future Tech]
Admiral Nelson B. Clark was called by the President. The mission was simple. If the A Corp was stupid enough to continue with their plan, the United Glory (short for the full name) would hyperspace over the world and orbitally bombard their region. Everyone just had to be ready now. The superweapon was charged....

Arthur Guilder looked at the computer screen with a blank expression. He’d been watching his APTO brethren mobilize for some time now from his sterile environment aboard the Titanus Starbase. After watching the mind numbing activity over A corp (mostly fleet tenders moving back and forth) he blinked and twirled around in his chair. Now facing his window overlooking Mars, he called out, “Diom?”

Yes Governor?

Arthur smiled, “Please contact Supreme Admiral Beowulf for me… and Imperial Governor Antonidus if he’s available.”

Yes sir.

Arhtur sat for another few moments. His eyes traced across the blue hew of the Martian Ocean, and over the red peaked mountains of the highlands. Mars was the gem of Sol, or so he thought.

Sir, I have them both on hold.

“Put them through Diom.” Arthur said quickly. Admiral Boewulf’s holographic avatar materialized. After a time, Antonidus appeared.

Boewulf looked impatient. “What can we do for you Governor?”

Arthur stood and bowed. “Our APTO allies are mobilizing forces to counteract a threat. I request permission to use the 2nd Royal Navy fleet to assist them.”

Antonidus’s eyes widened. “Do you think such a display of force is necessary Arthur? The costs of operating a fleet so far from home are… tremendous. It’s a fortune just running the Titanus Starbase.”

Arthur nodded. “I understand sir. But I think we need show our allies that we're there for them, and that we mean business. There’s no better way to make friends than to join them in a fight. Even a fight as laughable as this.”

Beowulf nodded. “I agree with Arthur on this. The Royal Navy will be at our enemies footsteps within the hour.” Beowulf’s avatar looked to Imperial Governor Antonidus. “Call up the 1st Legion and prepare them for combat. We will give no quarter to enemies of The Republic.” His avatar flashed brightly, then disappeared.

“Good luck Governor Guilder.”

Arthur nodded. “Thank you Governor Antonidus. May Keer love always."

1 Hour Later (approx.)
Earth Orbit over A Corp
The space above A Corp territory brimmed with activity. Ships darted back and forth in an unending ant-like waltz. Fleets undulated with rapid movement, and they looked like coiled springs ready to jump and lash out. Suddenly, and without warning, the 2nd fleet decided to join the dance.

The ships appeared from nothing and gave off no discernable indication that they had arrived. One moment nothing existed; the next, a ship. The fleet packed itself tightly in-between the others there, and only after completing the jump did the ships spread out. The hull designs were clearly Eurydian –the dull yellow Dreadnoughts and murky blue War-Cruisers sat in the utter serenity that encompassed Eurydian beauty and grace. The ships were works of art; each designed by artisans and built by the finest engineers. Behind that grace hid the most advanced technology Eurydice had to offer. This was the Royal Navy, and these ships were designed to destroy everything.

The ships spread out further, opening their gun ports and deploying their AMPs (Automated Missile Pods). The 203 ship fleet mingled with the others as best they could. Admiral Ajax opened a channel with the other fleet commanders. “Greetings from the Eurydian Republic. I am Admiral Ajax, commander of the 2nd fleet. We hope to be of assistance.”

[ooc: when i say they gave off no indication, that means to the naked eye. your ships sensors would have gone haywire. just letting you know so i'm not labeled a godmoder noobzor.]

As the six Largentian ships neared their target the lead Scocal noticed that Nanakaland was preparing to attack(ya , maybe godmodding but not using it in a negitive way).

As High-Lord Admiral Swanton stood apon the flying bridge of the Scocal he was informed of the Nanakaland movements. He send a transmition to Emporer Johnston:

Emperor?

Yes, Swanton?

Nanakaland is preparing to engage the enemy. How should we view their actions?

We have no past troubles. Arm the Tukrs.

How many?

Two.

Sir, that would have devestating affects.

Indeed. It would blow a hole the size of two fleets into the enemy.

I will arm them then....Armed and ready.

I will give the go ahead soon. Swanton?

Yes?

Its time for war.

Two massive guns were charging on the Scocals as Swanton waited for the firing order.

On the Saratogas 40 Hammerhead fighters took off scouting the general area around A Corp. They used high-definition cameras to look for troop movements and radioed back to the fleet.

Less than 15 minutes later Johnston gave the go ahead. 2 Tukrs were fired dead on at the enemy. At the same time 100 Hammerheads prepared to move in close to attack all A Corp equiptment they could find.

"Holy crap... space is getting pretty damned crowded here, sir."

"I see that. Open a channel."

"Open."

"This is Capain Cena of the CSS Steel Rain. I would suggest to all of us here to not try and stack our ships. I don't know about your ships, but mine can't take much damage without all these weapons cooking off. With all ese ships we can cover most of the region, so it shouldnt be a problem. But... you blow up my ship, you will not only recieve a bill, I'll be very angry."

Cena wathed the ships moving about "Take us away from the others, instruct the others in our force to do the same."

-----------------

All eleven ships dropped down towards the planet, swooping away from the rest of the huge amount of traffic.

(ya , maybe godmodding but not using it in a negitive way)

[OOC: I planned and built both projects without objection. They both have weaknesses. The Judgement Sattellites (Modern Tech) can be easilly deactivated from a direct hit (severely low defense) and only has limited missiles before they have to be resupplied. The United Grand Celestial Glory (Future Tech) takes hours to charge, has weaker accuracy at orbital bombardments, low defense (has to be defended by entire fleets), and only has a firing rate of about one per five hours on maximum power (can only be on maximum power for a day). Any weapon with large weakness to balance out strength isn't godmoding (Melkor's Sky Furnaces are more godmoding than my weapons, if you're going to play the godmode accusation game, and no one complains about them.). Besides, if they play modern, I'll use one, if they play future, I'll use the other, and if they play both, I'll use them both.]

Steaming full bore out from St. Freeksburg port, Automagfreek's largest and most heavily armed battleship, the Mouth For War took to the seas. Yes, the Mouth For War was indeed Lord Dreadfire's flagship, and the Warlord himself was at the helm. Following his lead were a massive fleet of ships including the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th fleets as well as a slew of transports carrying over 200,000 of Lord Dreadfire's Sentinels.

Damien was determined to lead this campaign himself, and he was dressed in full combat gear alongside his men.

ETA to arrival? growled the fiery Lord. M'Lord, we should be arriving just outside A Corp territory in roughly 18 hours. Dreadfire's lip tightened as he glanced out at the fading shoreline of Automagfreek . Another day, another heathen to purge. Carry on. As Damien walked out of the control room and to his private quarters, all staff in the room immediatly jumped to their feet and stood at attention.

In space all Largentian ships were backing off a little as they waited to recharge their weapons. Admiral Swanton was planning to launch another Tukr attack once a clear shot was available.

As the area became more clustered he ordered the ships to circle the region and order the Hammerheads to do the same. He hoped at mach 11 they could avoid fire.

Circling the planet the 100 fighter/bombers fired each of their 2 heavy lazers at anything that was a potential threat. At top speed a hit on them was hardly possible.
