Average life expectancy: 120 years

Average weight: male: 0.8 ton female: 0.6 of a ton

Coloration is a mix of lion and tiger.

The Lords of War

Lords of War
80% Human
20% Var

Var- average height 8 feet

Life Expectancy: 105 Earth Years

Mass (unknown...they don't like scales)

Coloration--Black Scales

Apperance--A large Lizard like creatures with long tails, webed lower feet mid torso arms with a three clawed reversable thumb and wings.

Origin--Non-Terrestrial (Unknown outside of the Var, we do know they don't come from our system...or even our part of the galaxy)

Social Structure--Almost Feudal in nature with various Var serving within a higharchy to each "House" of the Var. All of the Houses are rulled by an Overlord

Human-Var Relations
Most Humans in LOW serve a House as lower functionaries. However, the human race is considered a 'worthy' race such that they may not be held as slaves. It is beleived by some that the Overlord is actually human himself.
Raem

OOC:

A precise breakdown of Raem's population isn't really possible. The numbers shift every day. However, I'll include notes on the major species of Commorragh.

Dark Eldar:
Slightly shorter, weaker, and more frail than humans. The entire race has passive psychic potential, in the form of sensitive empathy. Furthermore, Dark Eldar are capable of consuming the Warp-presence (soul) of any creature with one (basically, anything but a machine). Their lifespans are indefinite, as they feed on the energies of souls. The addiction to soul-energy is known as the Hunger, and grows progressively worse as the subject ages. The Hunger cannot be cured or overcome.
Dark Eldar employ highly advanced technology, including hovering "anti-gravity" vehicles and weapons that fire concentrated beams of singularity-like energy.
The history of the dark eldar is one of brutally savage selfishness. Their innate connection to the Warp, coupled with an Eldar society increasingly focused on its own amusement gave birth to a horrific being of god-like proportions. The birth of the god in the Warp tore open a rift between that realm and the physical world, enveloping all of the eldar homeworlds. The only eldar survivors were aboard the craftworlds, the exodites who lived as primitives on backwater worlds, the enigmatic order of Harlequins, and the Dark Eldar. The Dark Eldar exist in a city-realm named Commorragh. The precise location of this place remains a mystery. The Dark Eldar, and perhaps the Harlequins, are the only ones who know if Commorragh even exists in the physical universe, or if it lies within the Warp or Webways.
The Harlequins are the only ones who can rival the Dark Eldar mastery of a labyrinth-like Webway, an ancient realm which exists in the spaces between the Warp and the physical universe.

Eldar:
Similar to the Dark Eldar, those found in Commoragh survived the Fall elsewhere, and were later captured by their cousins. Eldar rarely survive captivity long, for they are very strongly touched with psychic strength, and this makes them delicate treats to the soul-eating Twisted.

Humans:
Er, duh. Humans are used by the dark eldar as slaves and sport. They are often forced into gladiatorial combat - dozens at a time, armed only with their fists, against a single Dark Eldar warrior. The bloody sports are wildly popular. Humans are used for the widest range of non-combat slave positions, due to their intelligence and ability to adapt. They are spies, engineers, and middle management beneath the dark eldar masters. They are encouraged to compete amongst themselves for the favor of the masters, even unto the point of murdering or destroying rivals. The strife amuses the twisted eldar to no end, as do the fear and souls released by the murders.

Orks (Krork):
Fierce and primitive creatures, the Krork are only nominally senient. They are hulking creatures, tougher and stronger than humans, and use primitive technology which tends to fail as often as not. They call their bipedal war machines "Death kans" for a reason. Krork are often called Orks, though they are not to be confused with those orcs found in the armies of Morgoth. Krork are useful slaves, especially in the gladiatorial arenas, and are often used in dangerous, industrial settings, where their toughness and lack of fear of death are useful. They are not often tortured and slain for their souls, for they do not fear death or feel pain, and so they are unappetising to their dark masters.

Tyranids:
Rare and prized gladiators, the terrifyingly bestial Tyranids are a race of insect-like devourers. Most lack even the semblance of intelligence, but are possessed of a raw ferocity and animal cunning. They are hive-minded, and even the dimmest tyranid grows more dangerous and more ferocious when in the presence of others. They are not much use except as gladiatorial combatants.

Unknown; there are well over a hundred thousand geneticly distinct sentient species cataloged. Roughly 10% are aproximatly hunam; next largest minorities are less than 1%.

Diversity is huge; from Hunams to Elves, Klingons to Werecreatures and anthros, from dragons, to several types of mold that gain sentience after the colony reaches a certain critical mass(some of which are several cubic kilometers in volume).
