Dallas, The Republic of Texas

The Studabaker rolled down the street towards the small airport, the driver peering through the window past the dust. He saw what he was looking for sitting at the end of a long runway. The bright red airplane sat with the cockpit closed, engine off. No one really paid any intrest to it, it was common to see a Brigand this far south, as after the war, Texas was rather free roaming and open.

The Red Skulls had set up at least one group down here, extending their reach from The Industrialised States of America all the way down to the Republic of Texas. Some had even hinted that they were looking into moving into the Protectorate of Vancuver, or The Empire States.

The man left his car, climbed into the plane, and started the engine, the heavy rotary engine roaring to life. He recieved his clearance from the tower, and pushed the throttle forward, lifting off the runway, and banking towards what many would recognize as a zeplin. Trains and higways were more dangerous than the skies, and Zeplins were the in thing, and easiest way to transport planes across the land that used to be the United States of America.

The Zeplin began its trek back towards Chicago, capitol of the Industrialized States, and the Brigand took a secure holding patern to watch over the large airship.

History

America hadn't always been devided the way it was now. It was once prosperous, powerfull, an up and comming nation in the world. The end of the great war had signified a growth in the economy and presence of the nation. However, not all was made to be great.

The fall of the stock market was a suprise. People fell from high positions (and in more than just a litteral way), and millions of dollars were lost. People predicted that the nation would pull through, that it would make it, but it just wasn't meant to be. Jerry Z. Shrub, the govenor of Texas, thought he could do different. In January of '32, he anounced the seperation of Texas from the United States.

It wasn't long before more states began to do the same. Alliances were formed, nations started, and wars fought. Soon, the Second American Civil War, fought by more than just the north and south, came to a close, and in 1935, America was no longer a nation, but a continent of many nations, or more specifically, nation states.

Some prospered. The Nation of Hollywood became a republic of sorts. The Industiral States of America, which was at one point several northern midwest states, became the industrial capital of the land. The Empire States, once New England, still held the belife that one day teh nation would be reunited.

However, other did not expierence the same victory. The Republic of Texas had become a desert, with few citied scatered across the land. Arixo, once Arizona and New Mexico, became a desert wasteland, being the farthest away from any true prosperous nation.

Others formed and stayed to themselves. The Navajo had fought, and won, their own nation, and now prosperd slightly, living the way the old ones had, except with a larg amount of planes noted to be the fastest in the world. The Peoples Collective, mostly mormons, had found their own land, and also seemed to just stay to themselves.

However, many of the nation states wanted more, and soon were looking for international trade, for prosperity, and maybe a bit more land. Several had taken note of many of the other countries around, and soon had begun the act of sending diplomats and the like. It wouldn't be long till many were known on the world scale.

OOC: Yes, this is very much based on Crimson Skies. In fact, it is how I think a world would be like if it was exactly like Crimson Skies. Now then, I know its gonna be difficult to RP with me, because well, Im not really just one nation, I'm a bunch. But, I'm sure it'll all work out. Basically, whenever I get involved in an RP, I'll be sending delegates or leaders or what not from several nations, not just one. So, I hope you all like my general intro, and I hope I can RP with ya'll enough to impress some of you.
