A new political philosophy based around the concept of "nation-states", or a political entity claiming sovereignty over a defined territory, has been rapidly gainging in popularity among the peoples, militaries and monarchs across the planet of Eness III-A. In the past few months, four large empires on the planet have taken up the nation-state system, and more seem to be modernizing and declaring independance each day. A reporter managed to obtain a brief audience with the Palladiate, the shogun of the newly formed United Technocratic Poleis of P4lladia. In it, the Palladiate claimed that "the nation-state is an incredibly efficient political organization. Most any type of economy and government can operate within its bounds, and I sincerely encourage any and all local leaders to consider drafting your constitutions, lest the new nations of the world consume your territory." Other national leaders were unavailable for comment.
For offworld nations, Eness III-A (or Eness for short) is a temperate, pleasant satellite of the gas giant Eness III in the binary system of NSP42. NSP42 is approximately 22 lightyears from the planet Earth and maintains a standing relationship with many Earth-bound nations. Eness is not open for colonization, any attempts at such will be dealt with by the NSDC, the Eness Defensive Compact.

All nations are welcome, though we are especially in need of experienced, serious players. Internal alliances exist, but Eness is a world, not an alliance and will not necessarily always remain peaceful. There are no entry requirements, but to prevent region-crashing and to control the influx of nations, there is a simple password in place.
