I would suggest reading the stickies at the top of this and the International Incidents forum. These tell you how most interactions between countries work, as well as what is acceptable and what isn't.

Yes, definitely read as many stickies as you have time for. Also, before starting any wars, drop in and observe RP's by experienced nations (I recommend December or earlier). Third, please do not declare war on the UN, or someone huge. If you are going to sell something that you designed yourself, please do research on military websites and in other storefront threads so your product is realistic. Other than that, the only other rule is to have fun.
