Lunatic Retard Robots

Harristown, Northeastern LRR
In the square of the large city of Harristown, a large crowd assembles. Many of the patrons bear Nazi flags, others carry old-model plasma rifles, others even Ak-47s.
"We are sick and tired of living with this regime! The government of the Liberal Coalition has destroyed our nation! They let robots take over, they have almost no border control! They left for space the moment they could and left us here, the unwanted child of a galactic power! I say this must stop!"
A chorus of cheers erupts from the crowd, mostly humans. The speaker, a young, brown-haired college graduate, sums up the frustration of many LRR earth citizens of what they view as their abandonment by the rest of the country. Nationalist minorities that had been suppressed for years suddenly took in new members in droves.
In the city center, it doesn't take long for the police to arrive. Down the main street, a formation of what could only be BMP-1s rumbles towards the crowd, painted in olive drab and covered in applique armor. Sirens blare as the ancient IFVs approach.
The back doors of the.....outdated....IFVs open up, and out come police dressed in full riot gear, consisting of a stun pistol, no-stick spread sprayer, and a powered skeleton.
"Attention all rioters! You have one minute to disperse! You are in illegal possession of assault weapons and subject to arrest."
The crowd seems to do nothing for a moment, and then the 'leader' lets out a loud yell and charges into the police. The police fire with their stun weapons and no-stick sprayers, but soon armor-piercing rounds are flying, and policemen start taking losses. The BMP-1s begin firing into the crowd with their medium plasma cannons. The television crews, just now on scene, record what seems to be a massacre by the police, until the rioters produce ATGMs and destroy two BMPs. The archaic IFVs are forced to retreat. The riot, with nearly a million people present, many of them armed, turns into a heroic battle. Soon, the city is in the hands of the rioters, a testament to the fact that the LRRA stays away from cities.
Before long, news reaches the world channels of the riot, now called the Harristown revolt. The revolt leader broadcasts his message to the world, calling for support from the international community.
