Call to all nations with Inquisitions
The Holy Office of the Inquisition would like to schedule a meeting with the Inquisitions of other countries. The purpose of this meeting would be to discuss the current state of heresy and the proper way to define and classify heresy and how it should be dealt with.
If you would like to attend or have any questions about the meeting please post them here or tgram me.
OOC: I assume you mean Christion Inquisitions, right? Heresy is decidedly different for a Tobalite....
Sino isn't exactly Christian so we are unable to relate to the matter.

At Fooeestein we have just introduced flogging for various misdemenours to save increasing the size of the police force. In a sense, this is the Inquisition with training wheels I guess. :roll:
The Inquisition of Ruskkia 'deals' with the witch, the rogue mage (very dangerous since the Imperialist nation of Ruskkia is by large a steam technological nation), the heretic, the fallen cleric and the taitor. The Inquisition answer directly to the Regent and the Regent only, they have the full right to investigate any member or minister of parliment including the Prime Minister (the Regent is the guy who rules Ruskkia).
The Ruskkie Inquisition
He put down the pen and sealed the letter and gave it to a messenger which zipped off with it. He considered his words, and almost chuckled darkly by the word "leaders". They were hardly leaders....
The message was delivered to the Faith side of the Government Wing. It reached the elderly hands of Maziaus Carriloss, who was kneeling before the altar, praying to God at the time.
The messenger had to wait a small while before he could give it to him. If anyone disturbed Maziaus in the middle of his daily rituals, they would face his fury. Maziaus was a calm, proud man....but if he was enraged, no-one dared face him, other than the other Heads of Government, such as Osmadius, Head of Diplomacy.
Maziaus got up, his purple robes falling into place around him. He breathed out and turned with infinite slowness, and took the letter from the messenger’s hand.
He opened it with a silver paper knife, with practiced ease and grace as the blade sliced the envelope. It had the wax mark of the information sector, who were the first to receive the information.
He read is slowly, as was his habit of doing everything slowly and with utmost care and precision. His hands were slightly cold, as they always were. His robes did little to ward the cold of the stone chambers, with sunlight trickling through the ceilings.
He coughed and walked out of the room, to his own chambers to write his reply to this, and began to think about what he would have to say. He would be bringing the Head of the Censors, obviously.
The Censors were a group of religious warriors, comparable to the Crusaders, who fill in the role of police, judge, juries and inflictor of retribution. They filled the streets, keeping the streets safe and secure, and also a symbol of the holy strength of Talaran.
"Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Maziaus Carriloss; Head of Faith. I am in charge for those who you would deem "inquisitors", although I am not directly in charge. So I will be attending with the head of the Censors as well, if you would allow me to attend."

As the head of the Catholic DotF alliance and Belem being a member as well, we feel it is necessary to send Inquisitor James to represent the Jeruselem Inquisition.
