World War III

Anyone up for a totally new kind of "World War" RP? The old ones kinda sucked:

- Modern nations with NS populations...

- No enforced etiquette...

- less storyline...

- and a whole lot of griping...

The new Spyrobaijani-administered offsite World War (roman numeral) series will:

- take place in one region at a time

- have enforced etiquette

- have a lot less numbers

- have nations with premade statistics and militaries, so everyone knows exactly what everyone else has

- different nation names, premises (a more fragmented and yet more consolidated world)

Nations would include the Republic of California, the Inuit Federation of Nunavut, the Confederation of Civilized Tribes, Kanzakuo (me), Texakuo, the Confederate States of Dixie, the United Order of Deseret (for now reserved for Raysia/CC), the Principality of Cancun, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and more, for the first theater in World War 3, North America.
It begins when Kanzakuo and the Empire of Dakota go to war once again over Nebraska...
China sells Oregon Country to the highest bidder...
Durango declares independence from Mexico...
Ross-held Baja California del Sur is invaded by California...
The neutral, anarchic Saskatchewan territory turns to Alberta for protection from the ravenous Dakota...
Alaska seizes Kodiak from Ross...
...and more...

This will take place on a ProBoard forum, for the simple reason of easy name-changes. Nations will sign up with their NS name, and change it to their nation of choice's name once they've decided what they want.

Now what fun is taking part in a restricted war thread? Leaves very little room for creativity, strategy, etc...

That's the way I see it...

Creativity: You do what you will with what I gave you. Other people agree that what I gave you is what you've got.
Strategy: Same. You can secretly move troops, but you have to post first (not an oxymoron, people can comment OOC but not take action).

This is still freeform: no dice, "power points," etc.

I swear I've seen some of those names before... for some reason, my Crimson Skies and Shadowrun centers are tingling...

OOC: Well, I'm too tied up in other things both on NS and in RL to be able to take part. Sorry.

It's probably because I have... they arose from my subconscious to haunt me.
I swear Kanzakuo and Texakuo are original, though.
