Sol.....what an "interesting" place....

Old Frankland

A small hint of activity could be seen on the outskirts of the Sol system, a place that the Franklanders had not seen in many, many years. A few more seconds passed, followed by a brilliant flash of light. The rift had been opened successfully, and the Franklander's ships were able to pass through. Looming serenely in place were the Magnificent 7, the Franklander's entire fleet. The Magnificent 7 were comprised of 1 main craft measuring several miles that housed the "civilians": the normal everyday Franklander. 1 vessel was large science ship several thousand meters long. While nowhere near the size of the main ship, it was extremely large and well shielded. It possessed no weapons, for the Franks know not what "war" and "aggression" are.

3 of the remaining craft were exploration vessels. These ships possessed small sized weapons mostly used for blasting asteriods and other such objects. The Franks had never used these energy weapons in an offensive role in their entire existance, for on their home planet they were the lone race...a race that forever lived in peace. That was until their star went into nova. They tried everything in their power to stop it, but their efforts were in vain........4 billion Franklanders died while a little over 2 billion were lucky enough to escape.

The 2 other craft were construction craft. They possessed many smaller droids, probes, and other such tools. Used to construct their mighty ships and outposts, the miners were paramount to the Frank's survival, for if they could not build shelter how could they survive? The Franklanders were not born for combat in any way. Standing a little over 8 feet tall and weighing around 150-200 pounds, the Franks could do little fighting, hence why war never occured.

But anyways....

Interesting system. Kull thought, communicating telepathically with his mate Tandir. So many diverse peoples living together throughout the system. I wonder if we will ever be able to chart them all...

Tandir turned to Kull. I doubt we would even want to. These lifeforms are....unusual in their ways. They....destroy each other for mere sport it seems....

Kull cocked his head off to the side slightly, his sleek black eyespots shimmering in the pleasant light of control pannel of the main ship. I will send out a signal to all lifeforms throughout this system. I doubt all of them are as advanced as we are technologically, so I doubt that all will even recieve our message.

Greetings creatures of Sol. We are the remaining peoples of a culture now destroyed and scattered to the nether-regions of space. We come to study and observe you and your peoples, so do not be alarmed by our presense.

HNSC Spirit of the Revolution

Star Admiral Alexandrov sat in his chair staring out into the depths of space. The Comm started beeping. He pressed the lighted button. After listening to the message, he sent a reply.

We have contact, and so soon too. Kull said as he projected the message across the mothership. Tandir nodded in agreement as he too read the message.

It would appear there are advanced beings in this system after all. It looks like our quest to study the species here is already a success. Tandir closed the message and saved the file.

Kull was very pleased with their first discovery of advanced life, and issued another message tuned to that specific frequency.

Thank you for the warm welcome. It looks like our journey for knowledge has already begun, and we thank you. [/code:1:8eb28b9dd7]

Once again musing over Mikosolf's Chairman, Ms. Eunice Elysian, pulls her eyes off the never ending stream of memos and referendums for her to sign to see a fairly young intern cautiosly pull open the massive redwood doors.

"Excuse me, Chairman?" the intern ask.

Thought slightly annoyed that no one ever said Chairwoman she replies, "Yes what is it! I'm slightly busy here, running a corperation and all."

"I'm sorry, but I was told to bring this note immediatly to your desk." he said as he began leaving the room.

"Who sent it?" she called to his back.

"I don't know Chairman, I was just told to give it to you and say it is urgent." Upon saying this the doors slid back into place molding the elaborate designs upon them back into one.

Everything is always urgent around here she thought slightly bemused. Skimming over the note she sighs. Pressing a button on the intercom she barks out.

"Send a standard exo-species reply, match frequency and I want estimations on what we can get from them"

"Of course Chairman," the voice at the other end replied.

"Sir we have a incoming message from a group of ships that just entered the system about 1-2 hours ago. Would you like us to respond and if so should we send a scout fighter to check to asses a military risk?" the man opperation the com system on the PSN Firestorm called over to the comanding oficer. "Yes send the peaceful reply. No need for violence after that training we sent the men through," he replies "And send out a RNF pilot." "Yes sir!"

[code:1:e2f3a917cd]Greatings and welcome to te system. If you require any assistance please state what you need. Also please do not fire on or worry about the ship that will be flying by your own. It is just preforming a simple scan so we may catalog your ships.

After the message was sent the lone Longsword LX-X prototype assult interceptor launched from one of the many hangers on the massive planetary assult carrier with a heading towards the ships.
