Lead by 76 year old Sebastian Phillips, the Communist Party has made great progress in several towns across Yazar.
The Communist Party policies tend toward strict central planning of the economy through the steady nationalisation of industry, work-based pay and a massive revitalisation of manufacturing funded through the sal of food products. They intend to increase the size of the police forces overall and to give 'emergency' powers to law enforcement in order to combat the growing crime problems. The Communists are confident enough to pledge to keep the democratic process intact.

Lead by 52 year old Xavier Clark, the Liberal Party is a rising star in Yazan politics. Liberal economic policies tend toward a massive derugulation of all services and industry with the exception of healthcare, education and welfare. They intend to invest resources in education, rehabilitation and social programs to combat the crime problems and they intend to legalise some of the less potent drugs.

Lead by 85 year old Patrick Johnston, the Conservative Alliance's election progress has slowed as its policies have been seen as increasingly outdated. Conservative policies tend toward the massive deregulation and privatisation of all services and industries including education, healthcare and welfare. Patrick also endorses a massive increase in police numbers and the reintroduction of capital punishment. The Conservative Alliance is known to have ties to the Catholic church.
The Yazan Union of Fascists (YUF)

Lead by 53 year old David Stanley, the Fascist party still remains a low ranking party with only 5 seats in Parliament. Their policies range from the extermination of the Elven minority, increased police powers and an aggressive foriegn policy. Economic policies are surprisingly socialist in outlook though they are quite vague. Known to recieve funding from various international rightwing groups.
