Ali'staan

Ali'Staan was roaring with life. Black armoured limos were appearing on the city's highways and moving towards the city center. There, in an ultra-expensive hotel, guarded by Allanean, Iron Blood, and Imperium troops, the most important political meeting in the history of Western Haven - and possibly, the world - was about to take place.

A Volga with Iron Blood numbers stopped at the entrance. Vladimir Oladsky stepped out and proceeded towards the entrance. In the Hotel, Alexander Kazansky, the Allanean President, waited.
As Oladsky walked up to his old friend, he noticed that Kazansky has become somehow different. An aura of power now enveloped the boyish President, power eldritch and imposing. He looked into Kazansky's eyes - and for a brief moment, it seemed that he could see a flicker of ancient fire behind those glasses.

Five minutes later, the FluffyWuffy leader arrived.

Who else is scheduled to arrive? - a reported from Chronos News asked one of the Allanean guards, knowing them to be more willing to talk to the press than the Imperium guards.

Everybody who aids Allanea in the war is invited, and then some, but we don't know who will come and who won't. - said the soldier.

And then, Kazansky's speech started:

"Today, those who are working hard to defeat the UNAPS fascists are assembled here. We will lay the foundations to a future alliance - one will be more powerful than the evil UNAPS - and more benign. We will unite, my friends - but not for evil and destruction, but for peace and freedom!"

The Imperium, Allanean, and Iron Blood guards behind him nod in agreeement.

The Emperor Tiberius Stewart, dressed in his royal blue, gold-edged cape, golden crown encrested with precious stones, and purple cloak arives, probably scaring everyone with his old dress style, and shakes hands with the Iron Blood, Allanean, and Imperium leaders.

"My friends, it is with great honor that I attend this meeting. It is also a great honor that my nation may fight beside its allies in this war. May victory come to us!"

He then took his seat.

"Lord Goobergunch," said the Intelligence Director, "we've been getting some information that Allanea and several aligned countries are meeting in the Imperium of Melkor."

"Oh dear...." said Lord Goobergunch. "Monitor it closely."

The Ali'Staan Accord



1. Non-Aggression
No members of the Accord will commit aggression against a member of the Accord.

Free Trade
2. All Members of the Accord will remove tariffs on goods produced by the Accord.

3. Military Equipment Trade

a) All Members of the Accord will agree to have a 10% discount on sale of military products to Accord Members.

b)Members of the Accord agree to share military technology, I.E., every Accord nation may manufacture (but not sell) weapons made by other Accord nations.

4. Rapid Deployment Force

The Accord will maintain a common fund, to which each nation will contribute the equivalent of one billion dollars per year.
This money will be used to create a common Rapid Deployment Force for the protection of the members of the Accord.
Every nation will also contribute 10,000 troops to the RDF.

5. Figures of Power
The Accord will appoint a President, a Foreign Affairs Advisor, and a Military Affair Advisor.

6. Creation of a Propaganda Board
The Accord will have a propaganda board, designed to promote the viewpoint of the Accord on current affairs

7. Powers of the President

a)The President of the Accord will have the power to authorize deployment of the RDF

b)The President of the Accord will have the power to authorize alliances with other international groups.

c)The President of the Accord will have the power to command the RDF. However, in case he is not available, the Military Affairs Advisor shall command the RDF

d)The President of the Accord will have the power to appoint the Advisors.

8. Voting

a)The President will be voted for every 4 years.

9.Powers of the Military Advisor

a)The Military Advisor of the Accord will have the power to command the RDF in situations were the President is inavailable.

b)The Military Advisor will make a common standard for military technology.

10. Powers of the Foreign Advisor

a)The Foreign Advisor will set the tariff rate against foreign products on a per-nation basis. If the tariff on a nation's goods is undecided by him, individual Accord members may decide it.

b)The Foreign Advisor will be in charge of the Accord's economic warfare operations

c)The Foreign Advisor will warn the Accord and it's President of possible threats to Accord Security.

11. Mutual Aid
All nations of the Accord will aid each other in case it becomes a victim of aggression or in case of natural disaster.

12.Flag of the Accord
A flag of the Accord, to be used on all RDF vessels and units will be agreed upon.

Bob Minor arrived looking a little flustered.
"Sorry, The Great Ineffable Bob's currently in Crimmond, and I wasn't sure if I had the authority to come..."

Upon the arival of the delegate from the Silver Turtle, the Emperor shook his hand and then sat down. He also signed the Accord, being pleased with it.

A Domination class stealth submarine surfaces unannounced in an Alleanan port.
Bob Minor stuck his head out the top and shouted to baffled port officials,
"Sorry about that. The Great Ineffable Bob's using the jet, he doesn't actually know about this yet so I couldn't get any other jet either. But we were invited, so since I was left in charge I took it upon myself to come to this conference against UNAPS. The Great Ineffable Bob's currently in Crimmond, which is why he couldn't come...Again, I'm sorry about this erm disturbance...Please don't shoot!"

The conference is not in Allanea, it's in Ali'Staan, Melkor Unchaine/IMPERIUM

"Incoming transmission sir."

"Go ahead" as Antiachus settles into the Captains chair.

"We have been invited to attend a conference...and it is being held in Melkor."

Antiachus raises from the chair, "Who invited us?"

"Allanea"

"Allanea? And if they are present, does this mean talks will open between us and the Imperium? This is certainly an interesting twist. Ready the craft again and send a transmission requesting passage to the conference."

"Consider it done."

Antiachus exits the bridge and heads back to the flight deck with his tote bag in hand.

Bob Minor shook the Fluffywuffian Emperor's hand, and then turned his attention to the Accord.
"Hmm, it, um, looks like something we'd sign, His Ineffablness would probably be interested, but I'm unsure if I have the authority to sign it, since he doesn't even know of this yet...
If it's all right, may I go to a room where I can call him? It just needs to be private, I have my phone..."

[OOC Tag because I was invited to this thread...but I'm afraid that with my civil war I can't do something like this justice, if at all. Thank you, though.]

OOC: This is with assumption that the craft makes it to the conference as invited, without hampering. Otherwise, it was blown up and that ends that and this IC post never happened.

IC:

Antiachus steps off the craft with a laptop and a cell phone. He is talking on the cell phone while headed down the ramp of the little craft.

"Yes sir, I will do as you request. I do believe this is in the best interest of the Republic.....are there any concessions that is sought?.....I will do that."

He flips the phone to end the call. If tracing is going on, as expected since cell waves are easy to track, the call originated in Corcyra at the Palace. Antiachus looks around as if lost for he has never been in a place like this, there is no fear, no tension, no raise in temperature. Thinks to himself, 'now what?'

The only nation in that group that stands for freedom in the slightest is Allanea, who we had much respect for before he attacked Edolia without cause. The other nations are horrible dictatorships.

We also resent your calling us fascist. We stand for individual freedom and liberty- just because our people do not allow the ownership of firearms does not make us fascist. Especially when upwards of 80% of the nation supports the ban. And also especially when we have not had a violent crime this year take place in Feline.

The only nation in that group that stands for freedom in the slightest is Allanea, who we had much respect for before he attacked Edolia without cause. The other nations are horrible dictatorships.

We will note that nations who willingly distort their crime statistics are not usually known as free.

Six men stood on a balcony overlooking the cavernous conference room of the Ali'Staan Executive Complex. Each of them were dressed in meticulously cleaned, tailor-made snow white uniforms with black trim and flowing, crimson-lined sable cloaks. On their collars were triangular black insignias dotted in the center with gold studs--signifying their status as Imperial Marshals.

Yousef Rabani, one of the marshals, placed his palms on the railing and hunched over it, his keep brown eyes taking in everything that went on below the group. He inhaled sharply, a look of annoyance passing over his face. "We're getting rid of him, aren't we?" inquired the Southron, with a nominal glance over his shoulder to his Captain.

Narotama Suharto, Captain of the Imperial Marshals, just grinned. He too rested his hands on the balcony, tapping a ringed finger against the thick wood of the railing. "Yes, we're now aware of several avenues..." he trailed off, watching a particularly attractive woman walk by. A moment later, he turned back to Rabani and rubbed his hands together. "But first, we must wait through this," he gestured broadly at the delegation downstairs and his men nodded knowingly.

Janos Hasek, another Marshal, snorted. "To hell with this, I'm going to get something to eat."

Passing through the blackade and tightest security any Yallakian had ever seen, 5 armoured staff cars rolled up outside the building.

Balor, Emperor of Yallak, stepped out, a regiment of the Imperial Guard, attending with him, and aiding to maintain security. He moved into the building, immediatly seeking out Allied leaders and getting aquainted, before sitting down to review the proposed Accord.

"Gentlemen (and of course any ladies) if this is only preliminary version of the Accord, it would be my honour to participate with you all, and see it to the finish".

Antiachus hails a cab, climbs in and informs the driver where to go.

"Do not bother going to hell, I see that I am already here with you. Take me to the Executive Complex please"

The cab departs and brings Antiachus to the building as requested. he gets out of the cab, tosses as few gold coins his way. "Thanks for the smooth ride"

Antiachus proceeds to walk up the stairs of the building, comes in contact with the first security check point. "I am here for the meeting, can you guide me please?" He is checked out, nothing of interest or danger present.

Bob Minor looks around and then speaks again,
"I'm sorry, The Great Ineffable Bob has instructed me not to sign anything until he has seen it first, so I'm afraid The Ineffable Empire cannot sign the Accord as of yet."

The cell phone rings.

"Yes...what? I wasted my time coming here...ok, ok. Consider me gone."

Antiachus hails the cab again, heads back to his craft and departs.
