The Nava Catholic Church was founded by David Hunter in the year 1829. It is believed by the Nava Catholic's that the Book of Nava was given to David Hunter by the angel Opheia in the woods around the small settler town of Sleepy Hills. The Nava Catholic Church grew very quickly among the locals of the Western frontier until over 78% had become Nava Catholics. Today over 81% of the nations population is believed to be Nava Catholic. The Nava Catholic Church is a blend of Roman Catholism, Islam, and the native religion of the Mohanii tribe that died out in the year 1904, but the Nava Catholic's do not take this view. The Three Holy Books used by the Nava Catholic Church are the following, The Book of Nava which is the True Word of God under Nava belief, the Book of Star Song which is a collection of devotional songs, and the Book of Prayers which is a collection of Offical Prayers to be used by Church Law. Resent attempts by the Myramyia People's Socialist Workers Party to remove all forms of religion (including the Nava Catholic Church) from the nation have proven ineffective.
