OOC: The military structure's a little archaic, without marines or a special WMD force.

The Sinoese have ARSA (Army), ARSN (Navy), ARSMC (Marine Corps), ARSAF (Air Force), ARSSWF (Special Weapons Force*) and the ARSAC (Aerospace Corps).

*Strategic and NBC weapons.

OOC: well the army performs the role of the marines, basically theres no difference between army and marine now except that one trains for beach assaults and one doesn't. Back during WWII and Korea both trained for Beach assault. And the only reason nations have marines is because of 19th and 18th century navies where they needed people who could board ships and fight at close range.

And for the WMD thing the Inquisition overseas the transport and security of NBC weapons.

OOC 1: Interesting thoughts. But today, when it comes to war, the Marines go in first.

OOC 2: The Chinese Marines are still a 'spec-ops' force of the Navy.
