Rlyeh Cult

This is the very first international Rlyeh Cult News report.
In what the corporate leaders of NERGAL Heavy Industries (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=nergal_hvy_industries) called a "hostile takeover", NERGAL took control of the nation known as Rlyeh Cult in the shortest period of time ever recorded in the history of its region.
Apparently the corporation known as NERGAL Heavy Industries had acquired all the industrial capacity of the rather solid nation during the course of many years through legal - and illegal - purchases. They slowly gained a monopoly over all industries, after which they brought up the prices of practically everything made in Rlyeh Cult to levels the economy of the country could not tolerate, causing the country to fall deep in debt to the corporation, giving them this opportunity to buy Rlyeh Cult. Reasons as to why the Cult continued to buy domestic goods instead of bringing in exports seem to range from corrupt bureaucrats to archaic tariff laws, which were viciously abused by the corporation, as the remnants of the old government attempt to lay the blame on each other.
In related news, NERGAL Heavy Industries denies having any part in the sudden disappearances of leaders of the Rlyeh Cult, latest to disappear being the High Priest Nyarlanth himself. No real evidence of their participation in these crimes have been found, and most likely will never be found, as the police has ended investigating these cases due to pressure from the new leadership.
This means the end of the rule of the Cult of Rlyeh in the nation they named after themselves, an event praised by many of the citizens, although they also have obvious reservations as on what the new leaders are going to do to the country. With the laws on religious unity abolished, many have already changed their religion or proclaimed to be atheists, showing quite clearly that the people within the Cult were not quite as unified in their religion as thought only a few weeks ago.
The leadership of NERGAL gave us some answers about the future of Rlyeh Cult, and it appears to be in the darkness of space. Apparently they are to create something in the lines of Rlyeh Cult's old mecha project first, and that it is actually well under way as well, whatever that means.
