Zara Station floated in deep space just outside the exit point of wormhole MW-A-18, a well-travelled link between coreworlds in the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies.
Officers noisily talked back and forth to one another in the traffic control deck below the Ops center, exchanging confirmations of arrival times and departures. Customs agents scanned ships coming through the checkpoint, while others used universal translators to question alien merchants of their cargo and purpose in the Milky Way galaxy.
Rarely did any ship bigger than about 800m ever come through the wormhole. Checkpoints and scanners inside the wormholw warned the operators of large and military ships. On occasion, a large colony ship would pass through, wanting to expand their territory to an uninhabited world in Milky Way, but that was not too often.
Suddenly an orange strobe and corresponding klaxon blared around command decks of Zara Station.
"What's going on?" The Chief of Operations on duty demanded.
"Large and Armed and incoming," an executive officer shouted up from a traffic control deck.
"Confirm Orange Alert." The CoO demanded, "Raise shields, ready weapons. Notify the patrol ship Gabriel to stand Ready."
"Incoming, 3, 2, 1"
The Wormhole, always open, glowing blue green and teal, with the occasional red highlight, suddenly spat out a large cruiser, affirming it back into realspace.

"Recognition?"
"None. It's over 2 miles in length, armed to the teeth!"
"...Sir... I've seen that ship before..."
"...Now that you mention it, so have I."
Another random officer below deck shouted up at the CoO "It's a Red Dragon command ship!"
Everyone's eyes widened, and some got really scared for a second.
"Wait a minute, I thought we got rid of them!"
Out of reflexive reponse, the patrol ship Gabriel suddenly defolds in space near the dwarfing ship.

The commander of the Gabriel orders her Comm officer to hail the alien ship.
"...We are already being hailed!"
both the station and the patrol ship immediately through the Incoming communique on screen.
Surprisingly, a male, looking very much human, appeared on the viewers. "Greetings, Zarahemla. I'm sorry for the sudden entrance, but when we finally made contact with this wormhole, we couldn't hesitate to meet the people responsible for the Destruction and Captivity of the Red Dragon, the Liberation of my crew, and the liberation of my entire world, and the liberation of all the other worlds enslaved by the Red Dragon.
"Since the incidents involving this ship and your battlegroups were not of our will, we ask that you please forgive us of any damage we may have done while we were under the Red Dragon's control."
The commander of the Gabriel signalled over to Zara base that they should return the hail.
The Zara Base CoO smiled as he put his face on the newcomer's screen. "Well, it is glad to finally meet you. You are welcome to our Homeworld for a formal first contact meeting!"
After talking for a few moments, the Gabriel escorts the Alien ship the distance to Zarahemla, a 45 minute long trip at full impulse.
During the trip, both sides prepare for a first contact meeting, and officers quickly jump into their formal uniforms. Officers on the Gabriel learned the names of the aliens' Ship and Race.
When they arrive at Zarahemla, both ships are instructed to dock at an orbiting Government space station. The larger alien ship is forced to dock at a large cargo bay, simply because it was the only free port for a ship its size.
The reception crew had thrown up a quick holoemitter set to decorate the empty cargo bay into a somewhat presentable reception hall.
An important Senator from the Zarahemla Government leads the welcoming party and watches as the ship pulls into the dock, with what looks like a large cargo door locking into the station's shielded airlock.
"Allright guys," the female senator said with a confident smile to the welcoming party as a few troops rushed in with formal arms to decorate and line the halls, "Look professionl and non-threatening. This is a very important first contact!"
The alien ship locked into the docking bay and opened it's large door.
An announcer, not facing the door, spoke up, "Presenting: Commander Xanatos, and the Senior crew of the Cas'cade' of the Syman Confederacy."
The crowd saluted, but their smiles quickly faded into shocked expressions as the frames of the alien command crew stepped through the door.
Commander Xanatos looked around, not seeing the welcoming party at first... then he looked down.
The Symans still looked like normal humans on camera, but in real life, they stood about 50 feet tall.
In the silent crowd, a few 'holy sh--'s' could be heard muttered under their breaths.
The Senator tried to regain order, "AttenTION!"
The welcoming party snapped to salute and the Senator quickly looked around for a microphone.
Before she could speak, Commander Xanatos knelt to the floor and spoke in a soft yet booming voice, with a bright smile topping things off. "Ahah, Micronians! I guess we should have warned you about our... appearance... but please learn to accept our size as we have yours."
The Senator smiled in natural response to the Alien's own. "Welcome to the Capitol City of Zarahemla Orbiting colonies, Zara Segunda. I am Senator Ella Capsule. On behalf of Zarahemla, we welcome you to our world. And we welcome you to the Milky Way galaxy as well! Thank you for coming!"
"You thank us?" The large alien said incredulously, "We should be thanking you... what with all the lives your world has sacrificed in the effort to free our people."
ooc: Seems like a pretty easy race to play as. Anyone want to volunter to take on this identity? It's pretty open. Only thing you have to go off so far is that they're giant-scale humans, they're from Andromeda, They're race is called the "Symans," and they were once temporarily enslaved by a being known as the Red Dragon, which you might recognize as the focus of my previous RP campaign.
I don't know where this will go yet, but they SEEM benevolent. IF you take overm you can do whatever you want with them, so long as you are a somewhat capable RPer.
