The Final Solution to the Yvressi Problem.

The C’tan sat in conference in the Imperial Palace. The topic of discussion was the Final Solution to the Yvressi Problem. Too long had these irritating Keigh bothered the C’tan, too long had they been a problem to be planned for.

“It is time for us to demonstrate our power, and destroy them. We cannot retake our rightful place in the universe while they continue to be a threat. It is time to exterminate the Yvressi,” said Asirnoth.

“I agree,” said the one known to the Eldar as Kaelis Ra, “We must locate them.”

“Agreed. We shall prepare the wasps. Nais confirms that the furthest they are likely to be from Sol is five KLY, so that means we should need approximately one hundred million. I shall make it happen,” said Mephet'ran, leaning back, “the time for subtlety is over,” the fact that he said that was manifestation of how seriously he took this matter, “now is the time for us to eradicate the foe once and for all.”

And so the word went forth, budgets were prepared, factories commandeered for use in producing wasps, small long range probes capable of faster than light travel and reconnaissance on a system wide scale, able to find a Kionash about as easily as most people could find their nose, the craft-worlds weren’t exactly small after all. They would each be assigned six stars in proximity to each other to monitor, shuttling between them randomly, and remaining for about a week in each case.

Given that they were producing ten million of the Wasps per year, it would take a decade to complete the sweep, but they hoped for earlier results by assigning the wasps to the outermost star systems first, then filling it in, like a net slowly drawing back to the Sol system itself. The wasps only cared to find the Yvressi and their allies, and would not bother others.

Doubtless, the Yvressi farseers had seen this development in advance, and the game of cat and mouse was afoot, the stakes onr point three billion eldar who would almost certainly die as a vast necron armarda would arrive within minutes of detection, bringing with it, the fall of a long night for the Eldar race. Thus was the hall rented, the orchestra engaged, and the dance of genocide begun.

A week later, alone in the palace most of his fleet calmly above, Mephet'ran watched the first Wasps streak past. “So it begins,” he said, reflecting upon the outrage of his kin if they found out his true intentions.

Indeed the Farseers had forseen this incident and plans where being set.

'the first order of busisness is to misdirect this hunt, I Want three potential areas of attack created, those areas will be cleared of the Yngir's scouts. I want them to think that we are in the following areas.'

A Map was brought up and marked out, one of the areas was actually VERY close to the true location, a misdirection within the misdirection, the Yngir would know that the whole process was a lie after all... the tick was to convince them that they where trying to draw there attention to one area as a lie.

'Apart from that I want the current plan moved forwards, I don't care what it takes anymore, as soon as we hear back from henri, I want the matter moved forwards. It seems clear to me now that the alliances we hold will no longer hold the Yngir at bay... the time has come for new ones.'

In his chamber in Vegana City the great benevolent Jaar watched the reports he had received. He formed a triangle with his fingers and uttered his favorite words "Excellent..." Finally those devious pointy eared devils were hunted by others than his NephilimNeutralizer squadrons´, finally the end might be near for the evil murderous aliens. Finally the millions of human souls that cried for revenge might gain some satisfaction. He moved a pawn on the board in front of him, the time was near.

“Our efforts to deal with the Keigh alliances have proven successful so far, their status with the Quendi nations is in severe question. Worse in some cases,” Mephet’ran said, referring to Aelosia.

“Now we must begin phase two of that operation. They will grope for more reliable allies than the Quendi. It is perhaps time we turned our attentions to Arda. The Reich is out of the question, but the centre of this Metus alliance will not ”

“Indeed,” replied the draconic Yngir, “It is imperative that we ensure that this… inconvinience does not interfere with our plans. I shall go to Kalessin in order to assess the possibility of this event.”

“And I to Melkor.” For all the faults of the C’tan, none of them were actually politically incompetent.

“Agreed,” said Mephet'ran, “This shall be… interesting.”

Today the government announced a program of military expansion, commencing construction of no less than four million troops in various secure facilities. This is projected, based on official information, to take the total number of necrons in service up to twelve million, though rumours persist of another two million in secret places, no confirmation of their existence has been given by the government. Quite how long this build-up will take is unknown, but it is predicted to be ready within the next decade.

Conspiracy theorists throughout Duat have been trading rumours that the feared 'Ancient Ones' and 'Black Pyramids' are now going into full production, and that this expansion program will make for up to ten thousand Ancient Ones and three hundred Black Pyramids. The govenment denies this.

Special report, the ongoing military build-up.

Over the last few days more and more warships have been seen in the skies above Duat. Over one hundred escorts and fifty cruiser type vessels, as well as a flotilla of battleships have been seen. Yesterday this vessel <Image> joined the amassing armarda. Estimates put its length at something over twenty kilometres and its power generation capabilities as off all charts. It has been confirmed as being armed with one hundred and ten lightning arc projectors, fifty gauss whip arrays, and numerous other unquantified weapons systems, including several ‘MUEDs,’ a fleet term we have been unable to translate at this time.

The shipyards in orbit of Duat have also begun to produce warships, a scythe class cruiser was launched today, and officially named the Leveller - Part the Second.

The intent of this armarda is as yet unknown. We will be bringing you more as it happens.

While the Khaines fleets had been routed to Mars the Ishars Fleet went to work, leaving the safty of their Craftworld in fates hands they departed to the first location, they had plans to set in motion, the Farseer Council had authorised the use of the most ancient of weapons, the irreplacable artifacts of an age gone by.

In the protection of their Craftworld nothing would be left unusued, if the Stars themselves must become a weapon so shall it be... If they must rend holes in the fabric of space then let it be so, the Yngir would not have matters all their own way.

The deployment and manufacture of wasps was stopped, and those already dispatched were recalled. The emissaries send to Arda were also recalled.

The foresight of the Yvressi seers also brought a new path, previously so unlikely that it would seem impossible, into stark relief. The closest interpretation of which was; The Yngir have taken the road less travelled, due to the Menelmacari they seek not the conquest of the kin, that road lies open for the future, but it is now locked and barred by care So shall it remain barred while the kin do not make an enemy of the Menelmacari.

The build-up of military forces however, continued unabated, the shipyards at Duat and Taeonash continued unabated, advancing at a frightening pace. Dozens of ships were laid down, two new Cairn class cruisers, the Sephirot and Aleph no less than ten cruisers, five Scythes and Five Shrouds, as well as fifteen escort class vessels. It was the largest and most intensive construction regime of necron harvest ships in many aeons.

On the numerous planets held by the C'tan, often loosely, endless streams of new troops were constructed, minds copied from the older ones as usual.

The Imperial Palace, Duat

"You're what?" demanded the Nightbringer
"I'm not going to attack the Yvressi," said Mephet'ran, calmly.
"This is ludicrous, why?" demanded the other C'tan.
"I am not answerable to you," replied the Emperor casually

"You and your fucking elves, again!" exclaimed the other, outraged. Its speech was suddenly cut off. With a flurry of electromagnetic field interactions, parts of the lesser yngir were stripped away. It tried to resist with every trick it knew, but unlike in ages past, now it was the weaker. Mephet'ran paused a moment short of shredding the other's mind, "Get out of my sense range, you pathetic pile of amphibian shit," he said continuing with progressively more creative and virulent insults for some time, "or I shall finish the job."

Asirnoth looked on quietly. He had no clue why Mephet'ran had developed this... unhealthy obsession, but perhaps he would endeavour to discover it, there must be something worthwhile about the elves, given this behaviour.

The Mind worked patiently on the Eldar encryption. Tugging here and there at the code, it waited. It had no limit of patience, and unlike everything else, it would continue in its mission, to decipher the eldar transmission surruptisiously directed at Arda.
It was the necron Bletchley Park, responsible for breaking codes, and in this case, over 98% of its intellect had been bent to the task. In time, it would succeed.

Note that all types of electronic frequencies going into or coming out of the region are known and recognized by the hundreds of Air Elementals patrolling it on a fortnight shift. If anything is important, judged solely on the basis of opinion in accordance to the Clan of the Golden Sky (Which control the Elementals), it is brought to the attention of the High Fist Clan.

Long Story Short, if you're gonna TG Melkor, you might as well do it to me too, because I would legitimately hear about it in RP terms.

OOC:

That was in response to the mentioned transmission into Arda, which I noticed in your post, but I knew you weren't sending it, because you wouldn't need to decode your own transmission and you knew you weren't sending it, because that's just common sense for the reason above. So why bother offering information that we both know?

That was obviously for anyone who would actually want to send a secret transmission into the region to offer them a bit more roleplayability in the fact that there's more to Arda than Melkor and Kalessin.

The star was being destroyed. It was a dwarf star of some one and a half million kilometres diameter and had burned for over six billion years. Had it not been for the immense, crescent-moon shaped starship orbiting the system’s fourth planet and draining its massive energies, it would have probably continued to do so for another sixteen billion years.

The star generated energy at a colossal rate by burning hydrogen to helium in nuclear fusion reactions deep in its heart before radiating that energy into space. These reactions produce intense electro-magnetic fields in the star’s core that ripples to the surface in seething magnetic waves.

A clutch of these waves, amplified by the arcane mechanisms of the ship, erupted as a toroidal loop of magnetic flux some 200,000 kilometres in diameter, producing a dark swelling sunspot within the star’s photosphere.

The active region of the magnetic flux expanded rapidly, suddenly exploding upwards from the star’s surface in a gigantic flare, covering a billion square kilometres and becoming a bright curling spear of light in the star’s corona. These powerful waves of electromagnetic energy and sprays of plasma formed into a rippling nimbus of coruscating light that spiralled a snaking route into a rune-encrusted pyramid at the centre of the vast starship. Eldritch sigils carved into the ship’s side blazed with the received energies and the hull pulsed with energy as though the ship was swelling with barely contained power.

Each flaring beam of light ripped from the star burned one hundred thousand years of its fuel away, shortening its lifespan, but the occupants cared not, this system was barren and would never harbour life, and even then, they would likely not care.

Like some obscene mechanised leech, the ship continued to suck the vital forces from the star as it orbited the planet. An array of smaller pyramids and obelisks on the ship’s base rippled as if through a heat haze, flickering in and out of perception as the massive ship shuddered with the colossal energies it was stripping from the star.

Abruptly the snacking beam of liquid light from the star faded and vanished from sight, the silver ship having its fill for the moment. Ponderously it began to rotate and dropped slowly through the planet’s atmosphere. Fiery coronas flared from the leading edges of the crescent wings as it descended towards a vast, iron-oxide desert in the northern hemisphere. The surface of the planet sped by below: rugged tectonic plates and ash spewing volcanoes. The ship began slowing as it neared its destination, a sandy dust bowl with a tiny spot of absolute darkness at its centre.

The ship’s speed continued to drop as the shape resolved itself into a glassy black pyramid, its peak capped in gold. Its shimmering obsidian walls smoky and reflective were impervious to the howling winds that scoured the planet bare. Small, scuttling creatures that glittered in the burning sun crawled across its surface with a chittering mechanical gait. Runes identical to those on the orbiting starship hummed as powerful receptors activated.

The ship manoeuvred itself gracefully into position over the pyramid as the gold cap began to open like the petals of a flower. The humming rose to an ear splitting shriek as the smaller pyramids and obelisks on the ship’s underside exploded with energy and a rippling column of pure electromagnetic force shot straight down into the black pyramid’s hungry maw.

Incandescent white light blazed from the pyramid, instantly incinerating the mechanical creatures that crawled across its surface. The desert it stood upon flared gold, streaks of power radiating outwards from the pyramid’s base and vitrifying the sand in complex geometric patterns. The enormous vessel held its position until the last of the energy had been transferred. Once the gold cap of the pyramid had sealed itself shut, the ship made the long trip back to orbit to repeat the process.

Deep below the pyramid, bathed in radiant light, shimmering whites and golds, Mephet'ran smiled. It was good to be back to something reasonable at last.

Saotrem Agriemar was practially pressing his nose against the glass – not that it was truly glass, but a transparent metal. He was watching the first shroud class cruiser depart its assembly bay, with no small measure of pride. It was true that he’d not had to do much at all in the construction process, but still it could be called his ship – the Watcher in the Void.

He turned, and returned to his desk, covered in various items of interest, there was an incoming message on it, shown by a blinking hologram hovering above several piles of newspapers – thin flexible sheets of a plastic material actually, they downloaded the appropriate news as it happened. He had a device at home that archived the appropriate papers – most people did.

He sat down, adjusted his collar, and waved his hand through the blinking crimson rune. The air across from the desk shimmered as another hologram, eerily realistic, came into view. It was a man, higher up in the chain of command than he was, whose features spoke of an Asian heritage. Saotrem leaned back and blinked, it wasn’t often he received a call from this particular personage. “Sir?”

The other smiled a little, “Hello Mr Agriemar.”

“Hello Sir.”

“Now, about the next ships…”
