----Official Announcement by Drunkard.com----

In light of recent events in the Xanthal, we have made the descision to improve our world market in a general revamp of Drunkard.com.
The board have voted unanomously to make financial bids in order to gain controll of atleast 3/4 of the International Brewing and Distribution buisness.
All brewing buisnesses and their respective owners can expect a large financial deal in exchange for the buisness, as we intend to pay the asking price and not con or in any other way ruin this process.
All corporations willing to sell are asked to contact us immediatley in order to negotiate a package in which workers can remain in jobs and owners can reture early. We feel we can be highly succesfull in this campaign and hope that Breweries across the globe can co-operate nicely to avoid any dis-comfort.

The Trixian Brewery Corp is very interested in this idea, as long as the employees keep their jobs. We just want to retire!

Our offer is this: We will sell you the corporation for 75% of its worth, a 25% discount if you will, and in return you will pay us back 5% of the annual profits each year. So we all win!!

In other news today, Imperial officials have attempted to keep out the influx of foriegn influence in news, radio, and even beer, by banning foriegners from buying out the local arm of a company, or local companies.

Roycelandia's Imperial & Colonial Brewering Company Ltd. is a Government-owned Corporation and not for sale... do you have ANY idea how much money the I&CBC makes for us? (hint: More than many Nation's Defence Force Budgets...)

Thats discrimination, and when only four or five people would loose jobs? I assure you the bored would rather sit at home being stinking rich than sit there at work and be LESS rich.

((ooc:right, erm to be honest i have no idea how much a national brewery business is worth! so could ya give me a rough figure?))

Well 50% now, 50% after all the papers are signed, but our employees will keep their jobs and we will get a 7% dividend each year.

After some "persuasion" by the Wraiths (Wretchan secret police), the directors of Wretchengard's 5 largest breweries (Raider, Lord Boldon's, Onadrim's Pride, Stormack's, and Patriot) all voted unanimously to decline the Pablicostan offer.

"So, all agreed?"

"Aye."

"Aye."

"Aye."

"Aye."

He sagged back into his deep leather chair. A momentous decision, unanimously made. Straightening, he grinned at his fellow board members.

"Well, then, gentlemen, it's time to get in touch with our bankers. You all know what we need to do. John, you'll liaise with the lawyers as well? Make sure you get their partner, Bill Allott - he's Sue, Grabbit & Run's best man on hostile takeovers."

His colleagues nodding and chatting to themselves, Martin Posner, chairman of AleBrew, brought the board meeting to a close. As they left the room to take the short lift journey back up to their offices, he reflected back - About time we had a bit of slash and burn capitalism - the corporate raider is back!

OOC:-It doends on the number of breweries, and the quality of beer aswell as many other locational things. I would suggest a ball park figure of between £1B. and £1.5B.

IC.

That looks very good to us. The Board wish it to be known that they are very pleased with the progress of this sale. They have decided to allow a top end figure of £1.75 Billion, and hope to come to an agreement soon.

Taking it as read that no employees will be fired as a direct result of the take over and that you wil recieve your 7% profit per annum, Do we have a deal?

The Valerian Imperial Breweries and Distilleries Inc. are appalled at the offer to purchase other companies. We will hide under our government's arm, but we still wish to do business. What liquors have you available for export, for we are looking to bring in new flavors to Valeria in order to increase our business.
