I've noticed that lot of people have posted about how there new 10 mile long spaceship is gonna cost 400 trillion dollars. Just wondering where people are comming up with these numbers.

Out of nowhere, mostly. Most monetary matters are completely BS'ed, though some nations have the decency to make purchases and provide aid, supplies, etc. according to their GDP as found here:http://www.pipian.com/stuffforchat/gdpcalc.php?nation=
about the 10 mile spaceships...it is better for a country to know the ships's specs in order to RP it...it shows that the RPer did research
so if you see a country dish out a 10 mile spaceship in the middle of a thread, ask for the ship's specs to make sure it is legit...
and with the specs of a ship...someone could come up with a rough price range the ship should be in
