Tasty News Center (TNC) - In an effort to increase the strength of the Polioris Space Fleet, Tasty Foods, the founder of the alliance, has reached a 10-year deal with Kuat Drive Yards that will provide Tasty Foods with 5 Imperator-I Class Star Destroyers for $1.25 trillion a year, totalling up to $12.5 trillion at the end of the 10-year period. KDY also threw in the TIE fighters and other various KDY ships with the star destroyers for free.

The star destroyers are expect to be finished within 6 years. Here are the stats:

However, I would like to say that it is quite commendable that you went to the lengths to actually write up this post. Most people would just say "We've bought 5 Star Destroyers" and leave it at that. Kudos!

Thank you. I wasn't sure about the price. Do you think 5 Imperator-class Star Destroyers are worth $12.5 trillion dollars? Should it be more? Less? Or is it just right?

OOC: I'd actually go with a lot less (I consider Star Wars ships to be of only mediocre quality), but then again, the quality of the ships depends completely on the nation using them. You could RP them being a lot better or a lot worse than I regard them as. If you're going to use them as excellent mlti-capable Capital Ship then the price might be good, but then they'd be on the level where supporting any more than you mentioned would be godmoddy. You could lower the price and RP as regular level capital ships, and then you could have a lot more of them. It depends how you want to RP yourself in space: Many mediocre ships, or a small number of exquisite ships

These ships are actually some of the best ships in my fleet now, so I'm playing them to be ships of very good quality. Not good enough to come close to sending my country into a recession or anything like that, but pretty good.

Based on what you said, I can infer that all five ships will be in the Polioris Military, or are they in the Tasty Foods Military, only to be used by the Alliance when in dire need?

OOC: Let me re-phrase. By "exquisite ships" on large scales, I mean ships along the line of the Eclispe-Class Star Destroyers from Star Wars or my Colossus-class Juggernaugt. Massive ships that drain the resources of entire solar systems. Imperial-Class Star Destroyers aren't usually on that level. Oh, well. All the best! Hope these ships serve you well
