Anybody want to be militarily conquered?

The DRA (Draconian-Rossian Alliance) is a military ruled and focused nation (A fragment of the once vast and powerful Klonor Empire) with a large space force. Now, when a nation is ruled by the military (and a not very mentally stable military) they usually aren't a very peaceful nation (Duh!). Common sense dictates that they'll do the whole "invade and smash" thing that most military countries do. However, I really don't like just picking and attacking random nations without their consent or knowledge, especially if I do plan on actually winning the fight (which would result in the subjugation of the nation; and most players here, including me, just wouldn't allow that).

So, I'm asking for volunteers. Would anybody like to be the "victim" here?

*NOTE* Control of the nation that I "conquer" will be in name only, I wont want the password to the nation or RP with it

Would this be in an independent universe, where I could use all of my ships? (I currently have most of them on missions.)

Nah, it'd be in the same universe as the rest of NS (well, at least in one of them, since there's like 20 different universes in use here). So, what happens here will transfer into other RP's (Unless, of course, you and whoever you're RP'ing with just chose to not acknowledge it)

Hey! Another 'real' Empire!

Well i don't want to be conquered, thats4sure, but if your after RP potential our empires could clash for the right to own some nation or another.

I don't know have large your empire is but mine contains just over 11 billion.

I'm not using Valdren for anything in particular. Want to crush it? I'm fairly busy right now, so it would be best to wait a while before attacking, but you can certainly add it to the List....

The afore mentioned Klonor Empire has been completely wiped out (I just suddenly had an idea and ran with it, had the entire government brutally murdered), the DRA is only a few of its systems (Gamma Draconis and Ross128). They were the locations of its primary military bases, and its quite logical that they'd end up military controlled. They've already conquered Regulus (another system owend by the former Klonor Empire) and are negotiating with Valinon/Vernii/Taka for control of Epsilon Pegasi, a system that fell into civil war once the Empire fell.

I'm sure we could work out something fun once this is over

No. You'd kick my ass for sure, but that's because I'd run out of ships(if a battle is all but lost, Kamakazii runs are ordered. The only plus its that t demoralizes the enemy...

Valdren is a democratic theocracy (a rare combination, yes?). Recently the government has started becoming somewhat corrupt, so you might even get some supporters within the country if have a skilled propagandist...

Let's see... my first nation was (and is) Dar-Kavryn. Kazar-Tiyon may be the closest to well known on this server. Ghout is probably the most powerful, when it comes to military force.
I'm not sure any of my nations can really be considered the "main," since I have several that are about equal.

Of course, we can't forget The Federation of Warmongering Lunatics... :wink:
However, they are not space-tech.


Sorry about the double post, by the way.

If your empire does not succeed might I suggest lending your army off as mercenaries during wars to give them more experience in such matters?

Valdren, I'll keep you on 'The List', but it'd be better if it was a nation that was already an established Space Nation. Sorry

Might be fun but...I dont know if you could pull it off. Then again, were an expansionist miltiary-dominated state as well....crushing "peace, love, bs" nations is probably more profitable than one who will nuke its own land and huddle its people into underground complexes for guerilla warfare to fight a conquerer. :twisted:

Maybe but the Autocratic Triumvirate might let you TRY to invade us, but it might not be realistic to have good defeat evil, especially evil with such a great Fact File.
