PAR Seeks Diplomatic Relations

16-04-2004, 10:25
General Address To The International Community

Greetings and salutations! My name is Luther Eisen, and I am Fuhrer of the newly founded Pan-Aryan Reich. I would like to announce that our nation is currently seeking to establish diplomatic relations with other Aryan states. To this purpose, I would like to invite the representatives of interested nations to join me in our capital city, Arya, for an open conference and ball. I hope to hear from you soon.

Luther Eisen, Fuhrer of The Pan-Aryan Reich

OOC: Out of curiosity, is his flag legal? Being a swastika and all..

I heard the swastika was banned by the mods...
17-04-2004, 06:52
Oh? That's strange...
-Noir-
17-04-2004, 06:53
ok...Nazis...no comment
-Noir-
17-04-2004, 06:54
that flag is illegal...

change it before the mods do...
17-04-2004, 06:55
I would think that in a place like this I have a right to free speech.

in 3 words:

No You Don't

(actually 4 words if you separate "don't" into "do not")
17-04-2004, 06:59
Oh, and why is that?
Kecha
17-04-2004, 07:00
Oh, and why is that?

Assorted reasons, probably. I'd assume it's to keep people like Jews from being offended, stuff like that.

17-04-2004, 07:01

*sigh* you didnt do research didnt you...before posting or joining...

well you should read the FAQs and the "stickies" in the "Moderation" forum
17-04-2004, 07:02
Well....is the hammer and sickle banned as well?

(One would think so, but it's all born of the promotion of one man's literature, so he can pretty much dictate his own terms or see you kicked. It's not that you can't play a nazi state, but the symbol is seen for whatever reason as too confrontational.)
-Noir-
17-04-2004, 07:04
surprisingly...i've seen several nations using the hammer and sickle

we've got some communist nations here also...a lighter word to put them in is "socialist"
17-04-2004, 07:04
Well, if the mods ask me to, I'll change it.

you should just change it right now

(No, but then, though both symbols, Fascist and Stalinist, were subverted (by fascists and stalinists), the former is more easily presented as specifically Nazi rather than Hindu or whatever else, while the latter may be just as easily pure communist as Stalinist. Pure communism never hurt anybody.

If you reverse the swastika you can always say its the Buddhist good luck sign, but I suppose that would defeat the purpose :?

The hammer and sickle is allowed because it does not denote hate towards a particular group, or the death and destruction that the swastica has come to mean (ironic that it was once the symbol for life).

And no, I don't like Nazi's, so not diplomatic relations for you.
-Noir-
17-04-2004, 07:06
looks like you changed it already...or the mods did
17-04-2004, 07:06
Noir, obviously you've never seen a public, legal Nazi march in Germany. I have...

Yeah. I have no real objection to that, only so long as it doesn't interfere with fair historical teachings. Ignorance is bad.
Still, there was a MASSIVE swastika in Germany until only a few years ago- a different sort of tree planted in an otherwise uniform forest, it was only visible from the air. That must have been a shock for whoever spotted it. "Oh shit! Germany's gone Nazi again! Don't land, don't land!"

"The Derscon Empire will be willing to establish diplomatic ralations with the Pan-Aryan Reich under the condition that PAR leadership does not have the same meglomania as Adolf Hitler of the Third Reich."

The Pan-Aryan Reich is insulted by the fact that The Empire of Derscon thinks it can put conditions on any diplomatic relations between our two nations.

I'm sure you can understand that the Czar wishes not to be allied by a meglomaniac.
17-04-2004, 07:25
ooc: Don't you mean to a meglomaniac? Also, if you wish to establish diplomatic relations with my nation, why don't you send an official invitation, with statement of purpose etc? If these were RL life nations, and my leader got a note like that, he'd be like, "Oh ya, a cretin." and toss it. Why should it be any different IGly?

What's so bad about the Swastika? It was a symbol of hope before Hitler turned it 45 Degrees and put it in the middle of a white circle in the middle of a red flag. The cross used to be seen as a symbol of hate, until Jesus was crucified on one and it bacame that worlds most recognised symbol.

People don't think that deeply in to things, like you and me. Granted, something is bad if you decide to march proclaiming peace to the world in a brown shirt with an armband of the "symbol of peace," but then you just have problems.

Abatov Party Leader Ernest Swann sends of his new-born republic's good-will to the PAR.

Post revolution few argued with the rampantly popular Swann's move, though it signified the first step.

Years from now people would say, "I guess I should have listened to my (Mauatu) friends" but for now the Chairman's out-reach seemed like a positive thing, to all but a few Polynesian natives.

(ooc:Abargrapt recently underwent a revolution against the New Eastgate-imposed Principality, Ernest Swann's uber-nationalist party ceasing power by force of arms and slaying the Prince and his household. The nation is pre-WWII tech, and situated in the middle of the Pacific, south of Hawaii.)

Granted, this is a lisence plate, but it gives you a good basis for a "legal" flag. It is the Eagle crest of the Second Reich of Bismarck under the Hoenzollern(sp?) rule, but it IS still a Reich. You could just copy and paste to paint and make it the size of a pinhead so it will fit.

The SA seal is good enough, don't you think? I see Nazi flags and SS flags everywhere. Yours is the first I've seen with the SA.
17-04-2004, 07:55
I prefer the SA to the SS. I feel that the SA better represents National Socialism, as the SS was a Hitlerite organization, while the SA was founded before Hitler bent and twisted the ideology to suite his own ends.

True. The SA was purged before he even became Chancellor, wasn't it? IT was purged because he needed the Army's support and it was full of homosexuals, I think. Hell, I know Rhoem was.

Or it was just propaganda, I guess we'll never know.

I saw it before. The book is A TON better. the movie didn't even follow the basic plot! the movie butchered the whole fricking book, it was horrible! In the movie, Jack Ryan was living, single, and inan apartment in DC, while in the book he has a big house on Prestinge Cliff, married, with two or three children, I can't remember what he's at in that book.

I recommend EVERY SINGLE Tom Clany book about Jack Ryan. They are ALL great.

The Hunt for Red October
Patriot Games
Red Rabbit
Clear and Present Danger
Sum of All Fears
Debt of Honor
Executive Orders
The Bear and the Dragon
Teeth of the Tiger

Two other good books by Clancy are:

Red Storm Rising
Without Remorse

In the administration offices of the PAR, a violet-eyed, brown-haired man entered. He wore a very spiffy suit that looked as if were straight from the wardrobe of a European prince in 1910. He was also of a different human subrace, as seen from his strange eye color. But, even violet eyes were a rarity among the people from whence the diplomat came.

In front of the PAR head of state, the diplomat bowed and introduced himself before delivering his message.

"I am Lionel Megaliannis, from The Imperial Estate, Valerius Prime, Valeria, Magnus Valerius. We Valerians of the Empire of Valeria extend a lukewarm greeting to the Pan-Aryan Reich. Our massive empire has prospered under the mighty guiding hand of Tsar Alexander II and his forefathers. Please contact My Emperor if you wish to deal with him. He is very benevolent, sir."

The Grand Duchy of Fooeestein looked at this issue with great deliberation. Couldn't find anyone who had heard of this place Germany as it's not in the Nationstates' list.

Thus analysed the name carefully. Pan must refer to Peter Pan who was a fairy. Ayran used to be Iran and everyone agreed Reich was a terrible beer.

The Duchy saw no value in recognising a bunch of drunken arab fairies.
