OOC:This is back in the good ol' days of yore, when Mikatopia still had a monarchy. Its about 1000 years before the current date.
IC:King Joshua was troubled.
For the last 10 years he had held the throne. It hadn't been easy. Joshua's mother, Elizibeth was King Viktor's Queen. The two had divorced, and Elizibeth was banished to the Barbarian Mountains, where she bore Joshua. Joshua had grown among the Barbarians, learing the arts of War and growing into a handsome, intelligent young man. When news of his fathers death reached the Mountains, Joshua had rode relentlessly to Castle Azhedkir.
When he arrived he had discovered that his father had taken a new lover, Adrienne of Vasling. Joshua had killed the whore and all who opposed him. He ran into some problems though, Adrienne and Viktor had a son, 6 year old James. Joshua banished James and took the throne for himself.
Now Joshua was 26. He had earned the nickname the "Bloody" becasue of his ruthless tactics. He had taken all power from the nobles and given it to himself.
His problems had begun last week.
James was back, and gathering strength. Already the Church had given him their blessing.
He needed help
OOC:ok, you can enter as a Knight in either James's or Joshua's army, or a forgien warrior, or...a yak. Well maybe NOT a yak, but you get the genral idea. Remeber, these are the Olde days.
