Atlantian Outcasts

OOC: The 1st part of this was Phone Home. I just forgot to label it.....that and I didn’t plan on having 2 sequels. Anyway, we get introduced to a new faction in this one—the Neo Atlantians. To avoid being called a Godmodder outright, I will only use these guys in this RP and other ones should the story develop in that direction. I will not be using them for war, just like I have never used the Demons for my own personal gain (not like I’m ever AT war, but that’s beside the point). Now that all the legal stuff is out of the way, ON WITH THE SHOW!
IC: Ancient Atlantian home system:
The probe drifted silently though the debris field.
“<Detecting remains of Zoir scout ships resulting from recent explosion.>”
It turned its sensors in another direction, and suddenly picked up several pieces of Orcalic debris—from Atlantian fighters, as well as several pieces of debris from ships of other un-identifiable races.
“<Detecting Orcalic-based materials. Recent in manufacturing. Also reading remains of a jump-node. Returning data to Home system.>”
Cirrus, Current Atlantian home system:
She rode up the elevator of the main commercial complex in Posidopolis.
“Cirrus was so beautiful at sunset” she thought to herself, as the glass elevator continued to fly upwards. It traveled up to the top level and opened. She walked out onto the observatory hall. The hall was nothing but windows on one wall, looking out on the horizon, where the setting sun was located. She sat down on one of the chairs in the room and just stared out the window. So much had happened over the last few days. Just a week ago, she had been cryogenically frozen. And it seemed that just a week ago, she had been on Atlantis Prime, preparing for the Zoir attack. The same attack, she later learned, had destroyed her home world. Atlantia took a sip from the Nectar she had brought up with her, and continued to watch the setting sun.....
The Probe’s finds had been sent to the High Command. Once it had been received, shockwaves spread throughout the Empire. Not only where the Zoir back, but it seemed as though there where other Atlantian ships out there. The government finally decided to send out an expedition, to find their Atlantian brothers, and bring them into the Hegemony—weather they liked it or not.
Uxal:
Sara studied the computer panel one more time before turning away. It was beautiful. Her ancestors defiantly know how to throw art into practical things. Her cell-phone beeped. It was Sol. “Are you coming? Or shall I just leave you here?” he asked jokingly.
“I’ll be there. Keep your toga on”
“I’m not wearing a toga” he responded, smiling.
Sara walked out of the building, and up to a Scarab shuttle. Sing walked out. “Is everything packed up? We really need to get back to the Olympia”
“Ya, everything is packed up. We’re coming” said Sol, as he boarded the shuttle. Seconds later, the shuttle took off and headed for the flagship of the Atlantian fleet.
The Olympia:
“Sir, the shuttle has docked” one of the Ensigns reported.
A slight smile grew on Vega’s face. “Good. Now, move us out of orbit and head for-“
“Sir! A large ship is entering though the Atlantian jump-node!”
“I thought that one had destabilized!”
“It was...until just now. I am reading a ship about 2 Kilometers long, and a Kilometer high.” said the Ensign, almost at a loss for words. The rest of the bridge seemed to share his surprise. The next few words that he said sent shivers up everyone’s spine. “Sir.....it’s Atlantian”
Vega stood frozen for several seconds. Then nodding, he said “on screen”
A massive juggernought appeared on the screen
“My god....” said one of the Lt.’s on the bridge.
“Sir, they’re hailing us” said the Ensign. His voice was shaking.
“Open a channel” ordered Vega with the same shakiness.
For a second, the screen stood still, with the picture of the massive ship floating in empty space. Then, it changed to show the captain of the other ship. He was Atlantian. Then, he spoke the following:
“Greetings, brothers. We are interested in peace talks”

Vega turned around to look at his crew, then turned back to the screen.
“Who are you?”
“We are the Atlantians. We have come to bring you into our....” he paused for a moment, as if we was about to let something slip. “...alliance” he said smiling.
“You will have to take this up with the Senate. May we escort you to the Capital?” asked Vega.
“That won’t be necessary. However, please give your leaders this” He sent the Olympia several instructions.
“What is it?” asked Vega.
“My, my, full of questions. It is an invitation to come visit our Capital, so that we can begin talks”
The screen then went blank, and the monolith-sized ship began to head for the Jump Node.
Chronos looked out the window. Soon enough, his mighty empire would be ready to destroy the Zoir, and embrace the other Atlantians....weather they liked it or not. He turned around.
“Have the invitations been sent out?” he asked.
“The one to the Atlantians have been delivered, the Zoir one will follow once it reached the other Atlantian “Senate”.
“Excellent”
“So?” asked Andromada.
“It looks like invitations for both us and the Zoir. We had better forward the Zoir one to them” replied Orion.
OOC:My these Neo Atlantians will be in for an shock since the largest Zoir ships they would have recordings of would an Zoir Imperal Destroyer. I don't think they will take the appearence of the larger imperal ships well.
Emperor Gernx read the invation and frowned. He knew of the Atlantians but he knew nothing of these new ones. They would not know of the demon wars or even of the Zoir side of the events that took place like the New Atlantians did. They could be hostile and it could be an trap. He would be the Imperal fleet and the noble fleets on warning. These new Atlantians would only know about the lesser noble fleets since it was an lower noble who had attacked the Orginal Atlantian homesystems and outside of the normal ships he had an single Imperal Destroyer which had destoryed the orginal Atlantian homeworld but didn't really take part in the battles other than that. He gave orders to open an secure line of communation to Cirrus so he could talk to the Atlantian leadership.

OOC: Not quite. They have had more time to build up their forces then my nation.
1. they have (as we shall see) a much bigger pop.
2. It's in the orgional system. You shall see why some planets where not destroyed.
3. They have been building uber-fleets. I'm designing another uber-race, like the Demons. I'm not planning full-scale war though.
They've been waiting.
IC:
Orion's lap-top beeped. He turned it on, and there sat Emperor Gernx on the other end of the line.
"Hello, Emperor. What brings you to call me?"
OOC:Ah.
IC:Emperor Gerx spoke. "Its this invation, it bothers me. I don't know who I am dealing with and it bothers me that they didn't ask to meet on neutral space but in their capital where ever that is. Just who are we dealing with here. We don't really know anything and if they are really Atlantians they may be holding an serious grudge over the actions of that anceint Zoir Earl. They wouldn't know he didn't have premission to do what he did or even to wage the war or any of the Zoir side of the events that took place. They might not even care. Also I just don't know there is just something that bothers me about the whole thing. Something just doesn't seem quite right."

Orion nodded.
"I don't get it either. But they seem sincere. Look, if they go looking for a fight, they will have 2 sets of delagats to work with"
Atlantia studied the records of the history that she missed.
"The Typhon project...." she said, looking at one of the many doomsday weapons that the Atlantians had constructed during the war in desperation. Something flashed in her memory. Like a bulb went off in her head. But then it died. It was not time yet.
Emperor Gerx nodded back. "That is true but we can't be to careful, we do not know path their culture and civization has taken. At least the bloody Zoir Warlords have serverly cut down their operations so its unlikely they will take advange of this if something goes bad. Of course their likely be an problem later but one thing at an time. Are you prepared in case they turn out to be planing to force something or some treachery?"

"The Olympia and a team of ships will be cloaked on this side of the Jump Node incase something goes wrong. Not that it will help much if they sever communications or deside to declare war, but we have much to back us up."
OOC: As you can tell, this RP is sort of different from the others that I have done.

"Olympia, this is the Harrison again. What's going on?"
"The Imperum is always ready for trouble and we are now high Alert, from the Imperal forces to the Noble forces. What you sugest we do in responding to the invatations? I figure it might be best adopt an joint plan towards dealing with this to form an united front if needed to."

Orion thought for a moment. "I say we accept the invatations. They wouldn't hurt fellow Atlantians, seeing as it would be killing they're own flesh and blood for no reason. And we would not let them harm Zoir diplomats. But your right, we should be carful."

Sing turned around in her seat to face Vega. "Sir, the jump node that leads the old homeworld is still accessable"
"You mean it didn't collapse behind them?" asked Vega.
"It would seem so. Shall we?" She asked.
Vega sighed. "No. we have to stay here with the rest of the fleet until told otherwise"

Emperor Gernx nodded. "Then accept we will with preprations if they should turn hostile. Should I move some ships with the nessary equipment to disrupt the node if they should turn hostile? It would buy some time if they haven't discovered the secret of non Node travel that is, which would still give us some time as they would have to find our spaces without the Nodes."

"Ok. Henry, call the 33rd destroyer squadron."

Orion arrived at the building where the meeting would take place.
"Welcome mr. Senator" said Chronos.
"Please, call me Orion" He paused. "Where are the Zoir?"
"They, unfortionetly, could not come" replied Chronos with a slight smile.
"But Emporer Gernx said he would be here"
"Something came up"
"Would you mind if I called him?" asked Orion.
"You can't. The cloak around the planet prevents it"
"A cloak? Why?" asked Orion.
Chronos responded. "Left over from the Zoir-Atlantian war. Our ancesters knew that we where doomed, so they created several plans. One was the escape ships, which you seem to have come from"
"And the other?" asked Orion.
"Cloaks around inhabited planets. The Zoir thought the Homeworld and 2 other planets where the only inhabited ones in the Olympus 'system'. I hyphenate system because it is really more of a star group. 7 stars, each with planets"
"Amazing" said Orion. the thoughts of Emporer Gernx had fled his mind...
meanwhile, another room was being set up for the Zoir, one where the same excuse would be created for Orion's absince.
Meanwhile Emperor Gernx also arrived across the node in an Imperal Courier Cruiser one of the fastest ships in the Galaxy. He wasn't to worried, the preperations were in place if anything happened to disrupt the Node, the Engeering ships were in place as well with an defense force to protect them of one Imperal Battleship, Two Imperal Cruisers, four Imperal Destroyers and 8 Imperal Corvettes with vast numbers their defender and heavy assault fighters deployed.
Deca Commander Vernxi, sighed as her battle squadron of patrol ships arrived at the Node to back up the Zoir forces there. She hoped nothing went wrong and that her father returned safely, Zoir didn't need to lose its emperor and really didn't need another enemy. The ancient enemy, the exiled zoir warlords and the rising Kejian Empire were enough enemies. She also did not want to be the Emperess of the Imperum. She prayed to the ancients that it would not be so.

"I'm afraid he couldn't make it" said Uranus, with a slight grin
OOC:Time for some good old Zoir paroina.
IC: Emperor Gernx spoke doubt in his voice. "He couldn't make it? You mind if I raise my ship and foward an message asking why he couldn't make it?" Inwardly he frowned something was not right.
Atlantian Outcasts
25-04-2004, 02:24
Uranus continued to smile. "You could try, but I doubt your message would make it though our planet-wide cloak. We de-activated it so you could see our planet. But it's been re-activated, just to be careful"
Emperor Gernx spoke. "I could if I had the right equipment which I don't." What he didn't say was there was preperations that if something happened to him an warning signal would be sent to the Zoir Courier Cruiser in high Orbit. He spoke with an touch of sarcasim. "How Convent for you."

25-04-2004, 02:38

"I guess so. What exactly are we going to talk about?" asked Orion.
"Things. Lots of things"
Emperor Gernx spoke. "Of course you don't. I amit however I am curious about this inviation which got me here in the first place."

"Peace. We want peace"
Emperor Gernx looked puzzled. "Peace? The war has been over for millenia and it was started and waged by an Earl who as arrested, tried and sentinced to cryogentic freezing for treason and conducting an illegal war. It wasn't even an Imperal war, just one waged by an minor noble with enough connections to get his hands on an imperal Destroyer."

OOC: LRR: sorry for making you wait. Don't worry, you will have a part as this thread nears it's end.
Emperor Gernx shrugged. "We made our peace with the Atlantians we know and cleared up what happened on both sides even later fought long side them against an threat to the whole galaxy, an anceint enemy of all life. It should not be an problem to make peace with Atlanatians we did not know of."

IC: "Sir. I'm detecting signatures on the far side of the node. They're gathering rapidly" said Sing.
Vega raised his eyebrow. "What are you saying, Lt?"
"I think there is a fleet grouping in the former Atlantian system. Shall I set a coarse?"
"No. But send a few ships in, under cloak. And tell the LRR ships that they are welcome to send in a few of their own" ordered Vega.
"Gotya" replied Sing.
Uranus continued to smile. "Of coarse you have. But WE want peace. An offical peace treaty. And we want an offical apology stating that what that Earl did was wrong. This will allow the spirits that died in that final battle to finally cross the river Styx."
Emperor Gernx spoke. "An offical treaty huh and an apology. We could always thaw the Earl out to get that apology, if he's still sane enough to do so, Punishment of cryofreezing involes the person being aware and plagued by nightmares in the time he is frozen, Zoir hell is an frozen after all."

Orion's welcome had quickly worn out. Now stuck in a prison, he was without any means of contacting his people. He sighed as be formulated useless plans of escape.
"I see" said Uranus. He was starting to sweat. This was not going as well as he had hoped. He looked at his watch. He only had to stall for another half an hour.
"Now remember, we have to make this attack look like a demon attack" said the Atlantian commander. A small Atlantian fleet had gathered in the old Atlantian system, and where about to head for the node, and eventually, Zoir space. A small outpost would be destroyed, and remains of several Demon ships would be towed in. It was just another part of the master plan.....

Emperor Gernx smiled coldly. "In fact we can have this wrapped up right now."
At the node the Zoir special fleet detecting the signals powered up their weapons and sheilds as an precaution and the protected engeering ships powered up their Node disruption devices. Deca Commander Vernxi tensed as well.
On Board the Zoir Courier Cruiser in orbit above the planet where the emperor was, the Zoir captain frowned. He had tried to hail the emperor but normal means wasn't working. He ordered passive shields to be raised, there was still some things he could even with the cloaking device but he didn't want to give anything way that he didn't have to. The recovery actions were only for last resorts when negoations failed or it turned out to be an trap and it wasn't at that point... yet.

Uranus returned the smile. "Yes, yes we can" He pulled out a Oraclic Phaser pistol, and aimed it at the Zoir empoerer. "We can indeed" he said coldly.
Emperor Gernx smiled coldly. "Just as I thought, this whole thing was an trap. What do you hope to acompliex with this cowardly, honorless treachary?" 'just as I supected.' Good thing he had set up preperations and there was always the extration plan and other plans. He moved his arm slightly setting off the prepared signal that would be undectable to his 'hosts' and would warn the ship above so they could set the plans in motion. It would aslo carry into subspace.

Orion is in the royal prison. and soon, a good deal of your fleet will be located far way from vital planets, looking for the "Demons". And we will be free to even up the score"
Emperor Gernx smiled coldly. "The frist part of geting out of an trap is knowing your in one." He chuckled. "Yet your foolish enough to think I walked into an trap without preperations, to assume what my forces will do or that there are even nodes that go to the Zoir Imperum space."

"Your race is doomed. Argue with me all you want, you'll only be wasting air." responded Uranus.
Emperor Gernx smiled calmly. "I am not arguing I am stating some facts. This really was quite foolish of you. Your fleet is about meet some surprises they will not like as will you and my race is hardly doomed. You really should put that blaster away; it won’t do you any good. You couldn’t keep me here if you wanted to. You might as well release Senator Orion and put that away before you embarrass yourself before the innergalaxic community any further.” Emperor Gernx had a still look of utter control about him... like he was fully expecting this and was fully prepared. He still had the closest thing to an smile the bear like Zoir could get and his fangs showing.

The Atlantian laughed.
"And just what are you going to do, oh great Zoir?"
Emperor Gernx simply smiled broader as he secretly pressed an button and rose to his feet. "Tell me. Are you familiar with the term Forward The Old Guard? Or Gangisic Transporters and Gersnik Sensors?"
Atlantian Outcasts
13-06-2004, 01:20
Uranus suddenly felt very unconfterbule. He tried t put on a strait face.
"No. Please, enlighten me"
Emperor Gernx smiled. “The Old guard is the Elite of the Elite of the Elite soldiers, of the Imperial Marines, the Imperial Army, the Imperial Navy and the other Imperial forces’ special forces. They are armed with the most advanced weaponry, armor and equipment. Gersnik Sensors are powerful sensors found on larger Imperial Zoir ships like Imperial Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships and such that are so powerful they can find objects through even powerful cloaking, jamming and other interfering devices. Gangisic Transporters are extremely powerful transporting devices found on such ships that can teleport into or away safely people or objects.” He purposely neglected to say how many people it could teleport away or in.
Above the planet, the ship captain of the Imperial Courier Cruisers, locked onto the signal of Emperor Gernx and Senator Orion and ordered an away team of Old Guardsmen to the transporter if needed as when the Gangisi Transporter was used it might bring along any other people that was the general area of the target. The Captain making a command decision he hoped he wouldn’t regret. He would beam up the Senator first then the Emperor. Emperor Gernx had an Heir that was of age… It wasn’t known who take over if the Senator was killed. He gave the order and the Transporter was activated. It would an few minutes before the transporter would be able to beam up another person, not counting any interference.
Down planet side, Emperor Gernx continued to smile. “This trip was rather disappointing. I expected something better than ancient grudges over the actions of an few long past."

Not sure what was about to happen, Uranus still tried to keep the upper hand.
"Big whoop"
He pressed a button on his desk.
"Launch the fleet, NOW!" He turned back to the Zoir.
"Your main fleet is undoubtadly by now on a wild goose chase to stop the false Demon ships we left for them. And your fleet here will not arrive at the Zoir homeworld in time. We are about to repay the favor you did us thousends of years ago" Uranus laughed.
***************************
"You heard the man, let's go!" shouted the Neo-Atlantian Admiral. The Fleet engadged engians and headed for the Uxal jump node.....
Emperor Gernx merely laughed. As Uranus should soon discover he was missing a prisoner… The Captain should have beamed up Senator Orion by now. “Really and what makes you think the main Imperial Fleets ever left the Core systems or the Zoir Home World? Did you really think I would be stupid enough to send my main Imperial forces, much less any of my nobles forces on a wild goose chase? Do you even know big an Imperial Fleet is? All you have the records of are the forces an minor noble who got his hands on an Imperial Destroyer, not an Imperial Cruiser, Imperial Battleship or an Super Battleship. You have no idea of what type of firepower you are up agaist do you? That assuming that unlike the demon fleets you can get past the solar and planetary defenses. But Really, nobody sends whole fleets on wild goose chases. They send out patrol and scout ships for such things.”

"Then we will see just how powerful your fleets really are" said Uranus.
"We're going to ram ours down your throught"
Emperor Gernx merely laughed. "Go ahead and try... That is if you can even find Zoir space. By the way... How is Senator Orion, have you checked yet to see wither he is still in the Royal Dungeons?" Emperor Gernx know that the senator should have beamed up to the Zoir ship above by now and on this way to the bridge of the ship to meet the captain of the ship if he wasn't already there by now. They should be preparing beam him up as well soon. All he head to do was keep Uranus off balance and busy. "Tell me, are you people normally this foolish. Your cousins seem much brighter. This must be all this obsessions with the ancient past."

"We do know where Zoir space is, otherwise we couldn't have placed those demon ships in the outskirts of your space"
OOC: If I recall from your posts earlier, the demon ships haven’t even been planted yet, that the Neo Atlantians were fleet you gathered was going to do that. They were going to destroy an outpost and plant the demon ships so the Zoir forces would scatter to hunt the demon ships. This New Altantians aren't especting the various fleets on the other side of the node.
IC: Emperor Gernx smiled. "I see you’re getting a little a head of your self. You haven’t even planted those demons ships yet that were going to send my forces hunting all over the place. You just blabbed your whole plan to me and you have lost one your prisoners as you will soon find out. The captain of my ship should have beamed up Senator Orion out of your prison by now. What do you say to that? I am sure your leaders will be most happy with you for loosing the senator and blabbing their plans to a soon to be escaped prisoner.” He slowly placed a strange ball like device on the table.

OCC: Could we go in and try to bust Orion out of the dungeon? The LRRSF has a reasonable "special forces" contingent which could probably, in the presence of a major distraction, land, bust Orion out, and run.

No, there are a task force already past our fleets. The invasion fleet is on the other side of the jump node.
At least...I think it was that....meh. This is what happens when you stop an RP for a few months.
LRR: Zoir already took Orion
I'll post IC tomorrow, once I have time to read the whole RPG agian
Okay then AO and I will be waiting to reply IC: when you do post after you reread the RP.

OOC: Ok, your right. Sorries.
IC: Uranus looked at the small device.
"What is that?" he asked.
The Atlantian fleet came out the other end of the jumpnode, where the allied fleet lie.
Sara turned to face Vega. "Sir, I think you should see this"
Vega looked "That is a nice sized fleet"
"I think its only a scout force"
"Why would you say that?"
"Because of the ship we saw eirlier"
"Good point" replied Vega. "Raise sheilds, have the fleet do the same. Charge weapons"
"Aye sir"
Emperor Gernx smiled, coldly. “Let’s just say one good turn deserves another. I say it been nice talking to you but it hasn’t and I say I am most disappointed about this whole thing.” Just then Emperor Gernx faded out as he was teleported onto the orbiting ship which immediately left orbit and showed why it was among the fastest classes of ships in the galaxy. Emperor Gernx made his way to Senator Orion and spoke wryly. “I’d hate to sound offensive but your cousins are treacherous Kersxi. Uranus did tell me some of their plans however while he was pointing an blaster at me. Uranus is likely cursing right now and wondering what the hell I left on the table. How were their dungeons by the way? I hope at least not too unpleasent.”
-------------------------------
Deca Commander Vernxi hailed Vega’s ship on a secure channel. “I see the company arrived. It’s a good thing we have forces here, just think what this fleet could gotten into if we weren’t here. I set the operation in motion so they can’t bring any more ships across if there is any more.” The Special fleet and the reinforcing battle squadron moved into place guarding the Engineering ship which activated the devices to disrupt the Node, this new fleet was about to get an little surprise coming to them as the Node crashed behind them and cut off any chances of reforcements.

"Holy crap, they cut off the node!" said Sing.
"Ya....I didn't know they could do that" replied Vega. "No matter. Let's PLAY BALL!"
The Atlantian fleet increased speed and engadged the enemy.
Orion looked at Gernx. "Nah...I've been in worse spots"
OOC: Lets try not making collapsing jumpnodes a normal event, k?
OOC: Aye I think it can be done
IC: Emperor Gernx chuckled. “I don’t know what they planning towards your country but its likely not something you will like if they threw you in the dungeon, I do know what they were planning towards mine though. They had this little plan to scatter my fleets by planting demon ships near Zoir Space then as the fleets scattered, attack and destroy as many worlds as possible with an nice big fleet they been preparing while the my people military forces were out looking for phantom demon fleets. A rather planned out Xenocide against my people, I guess it had been planned for years. I have to say this is the most disappointing trip I have had”
-----------------------------------------------
Deca Commander Vernxi smiled wryly as the battle raged you had Atlantians who might as well been from two different universes fighting with one side having allied forces helping including her own special Fleet and an LRR fleet of destroyers. This would be an unusual battle.

Luckally, this was only a scout fleet. If i had been a full fleet, the allied fleet wouldn't have stood a chance. As it was, both sids where taking a beating....
Deca Commander Vernxi frowned at how the battle was going then ordered into the fray the massive and powerful 8 Imperal Corvettes followed by the even more mammoth four Imperal Destroyers, the colossal Two Imperal Cruisers, and the truly gargantuan Imperal battleship with their masses of heavy assault and defender fighters swarming, leaving only the 20 Patrol ships to guard the Engineering Ship. Which was fine to the Zoir eyes as each patrol ship while smaller than other Imperal Zoir Ships were larger than the Zoir Noble Battleships and the Battle Ships of some truly large and powerful space navies.
Back on the planet that Emperor Gernx and Senator Orion left the ball like device opened up and began a short count down in Zoir numbers while Emperor Gernx's voice came out of it. “If you are hearing this, you have pulled some treacherous act from which I am dead from or have just escaped from. As it is said one good turn deserves another so I have left this little present. I hope you are familiar with antimatter and what happens when antimatter and matter that is the exact opposite meets because that is what will happen when the count down finishes. You have one exactly minute before that happens from the end of this message.”

OOC: Ok, writers black and the forums keeped me from posting.
Although, I do have to put my foot down on this one. Antimatter bombs? As in weapons that can blow up planets? Uh......sorry I have to say this, but....Godmod.
1st of all, I ignore weapons that could blow up whole planets (unless there is a VERY good reason (aka: an RP centered around it....like pt.3 of this RP series)
2nd of all, I need the planet for the 3rd part of this RP, which will be open.
OOC: Blow up an planet? Who says it can blow up an planet? You would need an lot of antimatter to blow up an planet. It was to be more along the lines of blow up the building with an nice crater.

ok...I'm getting tired of the RP...so I'm gonna end it here.....I dunno if I'm gonna do pt.3....probably will
IC:
The Neo-Atlantian fleet was not in the mood for battle. They engadged at full speed and entered the Jumpnode to Cirrus...then another jumpnode. And another. Until they reached the Sol system. Vega ordered the fleet to follow them, but it was too late. They where lost within Sol.....who knew when they where to re-appear.

Just FYI, I'm still here and I'll definately take a more active part in III once AO gets it up.
IC:
The LRR task group, by now updated (formed of Frigates and Cruisers of the Jimmy Page and Frederick Douglass class respectively) tags along with Vega's forces, while repairing the damage recieved from the battle with the neoAtlantians.
