OOC: Technically, you were supposed to sign up at the OOC thread, but if anyone would like to join, I guess you can go ahead. However, the captainship, and first mateship of the Werewolf have already been reserved.

Fleet Admiral Carndel sat back in his comforted chair, and stared at Captain Jun-Kin Lee. Despite it's being way out of order to say such a thing about a higher ranking officer, Carndel had a point. The TEP Werewolf, one of, if not the, best armed ship in the Terran Empire, had only a single human on board. Which meant, if the human, Brian MacLeod, decided to turn rogue...or possibly join the Klingon or Human resistance....the outcome could be horrible.

"Yes, captain, have his ship report to starbase immediatly. He's just finished his last assignment anyway, so it'll be perfect timing. I want you to personally appoint a crew of four to six men to work under the admiral. Have at least one of them be a bodyguard, but the rest...just make sure their loyal to the fleet. And make sure at least one is loyal to us....just incase. Now get a move on."

"Yes sir." Jun-Kin said, walking out. He went to make the preperations immediatly.

Brian looked over the message. "Samantha, set a course for Warbase 312, maximum sustainible warp. Then meet me in my cabin please."
"Of course sir." The hologram replied.

With a flash of light, the TEP Werewolf jumped to warp.

Walking away from the office, Edana Neven was lost in thought, she had just been promoted to the rank of Executive Officer, and had been given her first posting aboard the TEP Werewolf. She had been informed that the ship was returning any day from a successful mission lead by Admiral McLeod.

She had not met the man personally, but you weren’t made an admiral without achieving something in your career, so it was with trepidation that she awaited her meeting with him. Moving through the station, Edana had arranged to meet her colleagues at the bar, to celebrate the promotion that most of them knew was coming her way. They kept telling her she needed to let her hair down, and have some fun. ‘There’s more to life than the fleet’, they often quoted to her, but then, they hadn’t been given this bump up the ladder as she had, and possibly wouldn’t for some time. Hopefully, she silently thought.

The Werewolf dropped out of warp only a few hundred kilometers out from Warbase 312.

Brian grinned as he listened to the irritated traffic controler on the station as the ship took up a parking orbit. "Werewolf, I repeat lower your shields and power down your weapons."
"I'm afraid we won't be doing that Commander."
"Werewolf, why are you not complying."
"Three reasons, I have a healthy edge of rank, paranoia, and most importantly, firepower. Now shut up and prepare for my arrival or I'll see to your having an extended stay in the punishment sphere, Admiral MacLeod out."
The Admiral got up from his chair and headed for the transporter room. "Damn but those bureaucrats get more pushy every day."

After arriving at the base, the Admiral headed to meet with Fleet Admiral Carndel to receive his assignment.

Fleet Admiral Carndel finally gave up on MacLeod giving up any of his weapons, and, stepping outside, waved the bodyguards off. "I'll be fine. Come on in Brian."

Walking around to the other side of his desk, Carndel sat down, motioning for the admiral to do the same. "Great job on your last assignment." he said cheerily, although it was well known that he despised...and respected...the man in front of him. "I'd debrief you, but I don't really think it's necesary. Tell me, have you ever heard of a Klingon named Kur'Dak?"

OOC: Up to you whether or not you have. He's a well known Klingon resistance commander. He's made quite a few succesfull attacks, and is rumored to be this sector..and very much wanted dead.

"Vaguely, a perpetual thorn in our side if I remember correctly. A minor problem, why should it concern me? Certainly he hasn't become enough of a problem to warrent bringing the Werewolf to bear."

"Untill now, I would have agreed with you. But the thorn in our side just got infected. Last week, he was rumored to have entered this sector. Problem is, he's not the only one. Somewhere around sixty resistance ships have been spotted....from the Vulcans, Klingons, and Humans....it seems they've made an alliance to kill this station. Kur'Dak, we believe, is incharge of this force, or at least knows the positions of all the ships, as well as those agents they have here in the warbase. Your job is to find him....do whatever you want with his ship and crew, but we need him alive." The Fleet Admiral sat back, enjoying the comfortableness of his chair.

"I'll need you to move out immediatly after your new crew arrives. Somewhere around six men, I've heard. Dismissed." The admiral didn't bother explaining why and how a crew had been assigned to the ship, MacLeod would figure it out. And he also knew that this meeting was far from over, but he wanted to keep the upper hand.

Brian nodded as he got up, but paused in the doorway. "I'll see that appropriate accomidations are arranged for the crew sir. However lacking a punishment sphere, I will be forced to resort to more drastic forms of punishment. I hope that is acceptible."

Carndell nodded. "Of course."

"Excellent, good day then Admiral." Brian said as the door closed behind him. "Arrogent prick." He thought to himself as he walked down the corridor.
