Geography
Terrain: Similar to northern Norway. Deep fjords along the coast, extremely high treachurous mountains along the eastern border. Many large rivers flow into the fjords. Located above the arctic circle.
Climate: Cold in the extreme. In the winter, the sun does not shine due to the location of Callisdrun. In the short summer, the sun hardly shines due to the fierce storms that rage the whole year in Callisdrun.
Natural Resources: Lots of wood. Iron ore is also abundant. The fishing industry thrives, while there is some agriculture near the coast.
People: The descendents of Callisdrun's ancient people are pale-skinned, average height, and lithe. Due to the climate and geographical isolation, there is an abundance of strange genetic quirks in Callisdrunians. They have body temperatures significantly lower than normal, sometimes as low as 80 degrees fahrenheit, and are generally unaffected by cold. About 15% of the population are Callisdrunian Vampires.
