OOC: I'm not acting as my nation, I'm acting as Euroslavians in Sainama. Just wanted to clear that up.

Also a little background. There is a minority of Euroslavians in Sainama, and majority of them are SAVX'ists. Euroslavians are very religious, and take many things very seriously

In a secret meeting in the residence of a leading politician in Sainama.

"I'm getting sick of seeing those stupid shrines to the Death Squad out there. I don't know about you guys, but it isn't right to build shrines to human beings." yelled James Goldman.

"I couldn't agree more. To build a shrine to another human being is sacreligious, and should not be tolerated." retorted Sarai Goldman, James' wife.

"So what are we gonna do about it?" asked Gina Thomas. "These 'shrines' are for death squad members. They are celebrating the murder of human beings. That is the worst part about it. Sometimes I still wish that Euroslavia wouldn't have given up rule in our country. I wish that we were still part of their nation..."

Everyone nodded and wished that it were true...but it wasn't. They are being oppressed by the new government of Sainama.

"We need to do something about it....and I've got a plan." as James make a painful looking smile. "Something that will blow their minds."

OOC: Very nice.
To audience members: for a background on Sainama and vxicism (the religion of sorts that the Euros here utterly detest), check here (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=130764), and for information concerning Death Squads, check here (http://www.angelfire.com/ns2/toxicvalley/allyproducts.html).

It was just another day in Borla, Sainama. The local shrine honoring Sergeant Jim Helro was visited as it always was, with vxicists honoring the former Death Squad commander from the Dragon Squad. He had been one of the first of Dragon, and had pulled off countless successful operations in the name of the Führer. There was a giant tablet on one wall in the small building with a list of those whom he killed. On a stone altar opposite the door was placed his full Combat Armor, complete with all the dings, scratches, enemy blood, and ash that it had obtained during the years of its wearer's accomplishements. It was flanked by two "eternal" torches, blowing out of metal modeled into dragon heads in order to signify the Sergeant's origin of duty.

People went about their daily lives, unaware of the incident soon to occur.

"Our plan....is to show those people how wrong they are, for worshipping someone for killing countless amounts of people." shouted James. "We need to do something that will make them rethink what they are doing."

"What are we gonna do?" replied Sarai.

"It's simple. Get rid of these death squad shrines, starting with the shrine for Sergeant Jim Helro, of the Dragon Squad. BUT, before we even do that, I have something else I would like to do. The eternal torches on his shrine are very sacred. If we were to 'accidently' blow them out, maybe the people of this nation will think its a bad omen."

"That's very clever," added Gina. "How do you propose we do this without being caught?"

"Easy. We force other people to do it, and get caught for it. Let them do the dirty work, leaving us to do the more important things...."

"I have an even better idea." as Sarai slyly smiled. "Police and government officials won't arrest a kid for....accidently splashing the flame with water. Even the VX'ers won't do that. Now who's got a kid they can send on our holy mission?"

"Well...duh." cackled James. "We're the only ones who have a son here. James called out for his little son, Gary, to come into the room.

"No, wait. I don't think that'll work. Remember, these flames can't be put out just by water. There is some sort of mechanism to keep it going. A gas pipe possibly..." said Sarai.

"You're right...and that gives me a good idea...." replied James.

He had no idea that this incident would possibly spark an international conflict within the nation of Sainama. No one was prepared for what happens next.
