You see, this is why I am doing this. There is a difference between n00b and newbie.

A newbie is someone that is new.

A n00b is someone that has no understanding of proper roleplay and a total godmodder.

Also, yes, noobulus intelligensis is recognized as an endangered species.

Our goal at GIANS is not to eliminate n00bs, but to simply have a better understanding of them, point them out, and send WMNK after them.

I'd like to post a new breed of n00b.
It's the luring n00b, or n00bulus intelligensis pseudonus
This is an even rarer n00b, who writes intelligently, and lures you into an RP. You enter, with the best of intentions, and are hit immediately by "320 divisions of infantry, all with body armour and high-powered rifles" are on your border. 120,329 tanks have begun an attack. You have lost:
1 army, 1 capital, 1 nation. (slight exagerration in the casualties, but the luring noob does have a tendancy to post your casualties.)
Luring n00bs also come in terrorist sized packages, where they ask, or sometime don't, for an RP. Generally, the most warning is, "I sneaked terrorists into the building overnight, they blew it up."
Does this classify as a new species? Or is it a sub-species of n00bulus intelligensis?

I don't just randomly insult and shout at new-comers, as that's what you seem to be implying. I have *properly* flamed perhaps three people in the last six years or so. On other boards I'm generally regarded as one of the more friendly posters, heavy on the quips and sarcasm but light on the furiosity side.

Why not merge GIANS into The Newbie Investigation and Enhancement of Understanding Center. Afterall we have allmost GODMOD technology to investigate the behaviour patterns of the Newbius varius.

In the last minutes we have recieved notice form the Examination room that the breed Warmongerius Newbius Dumbertarium is actually a confirmed sub-species of the more common Lurinatris Newbius, or Luring Noob which was discoverd on the Friday April 09, 2004 by Jordaxia. This sub-species is well known for its common urge to declare war on anything that moves, including very very large things that move.

How about you bring the NIEUC to GIANS. You can head the research department.

I've never seen a Monty Python movie, but as I have a friend who constantly talked about it, I want to kill everyone when I hear that name or the "Holy Hand Grenade" scene recited again.

Well they see this killer rabbit right, and its just bouncin' arround happily, occasionaly eating people. And they get the Holy Hand Grenade and lob it at him! Great Stuff!

n00bicus dissimulo, or the Disguised n00b is not in fact a n00b at all.
n00bicus dissimulo is usualy a vetran or disgruntled DEATed nation seeking to annoy people and satisfy his/her/its need for attention.
The thing that makes n00bicus dissimulo so unique is the fact that (unlike other n00bs) it is not a carbon based life form, it does not rest, take food, or reproduce (Speculations are that it cant find anything that will reproduce with it), it is, in fact, an ATTENTION based life-form, it feeds on the attention of those who see threads like 'I N)KE WRLD!', those who enter the threads and say 'OMG! U CANT DO THAT!' are simply feeding it, causing it to grow beyond its normal, and generaly harmless, state.
However, the best way to defeat n00bicus dissimulo is to simply ignore it, not by entering its lair and posting 'OMG! IGNORE!', but by not going anywhere near it, not acknowleding its existance, not even LOOKING at it. Without constant attention n00bicus dissimulo dies or moves on.
Dontgonearthere has noted a recent drop in the population of n00bicus dissimulo, but we feel that it is a temporary phenomenon, and we will soon be seeing n00bicus dissimulo back to normal.

If I can add one piece of advice to a newb who is looking for a war: Don't. Build your military, get into roleplaying and developing your country through roleplay and answering the issues. Your involvement in a war will come in the natural run of NS.
